Zechariah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The angel who was talking to me came back and roused me as though rousing someone who wasasleep.	1 El ángel que hablaba conmigo volvió y me despertó, como a quien se lo despierta de su sueño.
2 And he asked me, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'As I look, there is a lamp-stand entirely of gold with abowl at the top of it; it holds seven lamps, with seven openings for the lamps on it.	2 El me preguntó: «¿Qué ves?». Yo le respondí: «Veo un candelabro de oro macizo, con un recipiente en la parte superior: sobre el candelabro hay siete lámparas, y siete mecheros para las lámparas que están arriba de él.
3 By it are two olive trees, one to the right and the other to the left.'	3 A su lado hay dos olivos» uno a la derecha y otro a la izquierda del recipiente».
4 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are those things, my lord?'	4 Yo tomé la palabra y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué son estas cosas, mi Señor?».
5 The angel who was talking to me replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	5 El ángel que hablaba conmigo me respondió: «¿No sabes qué son estas cosas?» Yo le dije: «No, mi Señor».
6 He then gave me this answer,'These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range over the whole world.'
7 'What are you, great mountain? Beside Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! He wil bring out thekeystone while it is cheered with Hurrah! Hurrah!'	7 ¿Quién eres tú, gran montaña? ¡Ante Zorobabel te convertirás en una llanura! El sacará la piedra maestra a los gritos de: «¡Qué hermosa, qué hermosa es!».
8 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
9 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this Temple; his hands wil finish it. (Then you wilknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you.)	9 Las manos de Zorobabel pusieron los cimientos de esta Casa, y sus manos la terminarán. Así sabrán que me ha enviado a ustedes el Señor de los ejércitos.
10 A day of little things, no doubt, but who would dare despise it? How they wil rejoice when they see thechosen stone in the hands of Zerubbabel!'
11 Then I went on to ask him, 'What is the meaning of these two olive trees, to right and left of the lamp-stand?'	11 Entonces tomé la palabra y le dije: «¿Qué son esos dos olivos, a la derecha y a la izquierda del candelabro?».
12 (And I went on to ask him further, 'What is the meaning of the two olive branches discharging oilthrough the two golden openings?')	12 Por segunda vez le pregunté: «¿Qué son las dos ramas de olivo, que derraman aceite dorado a través de los dos tubos de oro?».
13 He replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	13 El me respondió: «¿No sabes lo que son esas cosas?». Yo le dije: «No, mi Señor».
14 He said, 'These are the two anointed ones in attendance on the Lord of the whole world. This is theword of Yahweh with regard to Zerubbabel, 'Not by might and not by power, but by my spirit' -- says YahwehSabaoth.	14 El me respondió: «Son los dos Ungidos que están de pie junto al Señor de toda la tierra».
