Zechariah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 The angel who was talking to me came back and roused me as though rousing someone who wasasleep.	1 Volvió el ángel que hablaba conmigo y me despertó como a un hombre que es despertado de su sueño.
2 And he asked me, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'As I look, there is a lamp-stand entirely of gold with abowl at the top of it; it holds seven lamps, with seven openings for the lamps on it.	2 Y me dijo: «¿Qué ves?» Dije: «Veo un candelabro todo de oro, con una ampolla en su vértice: tiene siete lámparas y siete boquillas para las siete lámparas que lleva encima.
3 By it are two olive trees, one to the right and the other to the left.'	3 Hay también dos olivos junto a él, uno a su derecha y el otro a su izquierda».
4 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are those things, my lord?'	4 Proseguí y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué es esto, señor mío?»
5 The angel who was talking to me replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	5 Me respondió el ángel que hablaba conmigo y me dijo: «¿No sabes qué es esto?» Dije: «No, mi señor».
6 He then gave me this answer,'These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range over the whole world.'	6 Prosiguió él y me habló así: Esta es la palabra de Yahveh a Zorobabel. No por el valor ni por la fuerza, sino sólo por mi Espíritu - dice Yahveh Sebaot -.
7 'What are you, great mountain? Beside Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! He wil bring out thekeystone while it is cheered with Hurrah! Hurrah!'	7 ¿Quién eres tú, gran monte? Ante Zorobabel serás una explanada, y él extraerá la piedra de remate, a los gritos de «¡Bravo, bravo por ella!».
8 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahveh en estos términos:
9 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this Temple; his hands wil finish it. (Then you wilknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you.)	9 Las manos de Zorobabel echaron el cimiento a esta Casa y sus manos la acabarán; (sabréis así que Yahveh Sebaot me ha enviado a vosotros).
10 A day of little things, no doubt, but who would dare despise it? How they wil rejoice when they see thechosen stone in the hands of Zerubbabel!'	10 ¿Quién menospreció el día de los modestos comienzos? ¡Se alegrará al ver la plomada en la mano de Zorobabel! «Esos siete son los ojos de Yahveh: ellos recorren toda la tierra».
11 Then I went on to ask him, 'What is the meaning of these two olive trees, to right and left of the lamp-stand?'	11 Entonces tomé la palabra y le dije: «¿Qué son esos dos olivos a derecha e izquierda del candelabro?»
12 (And I went on to ask him further, 'What is the meaning of the two olive branches discharging oilthrough the two golden openings?')	12 (Añadí de nuevo y le dije: «¿Qué son las dos ramas de olivo que por los dos tubos de oro vierten de sí aceite dorado?»)
13 He replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	13 El me habló y dijo: «¿No sabes qué es esto?» Dije: «No, mi señor».
14 He said, 'These are the two anointed ones in attendance on the Lord of the whole world. This is theword of Yahweh with regard to Zerubbabel, 'Not by might and not by power, but by my spirit' -- says YahwehSabaoth.	14 Y él me dijo: «Estos son los dos Ungidos que están en pie junto al Señor de toda la tierra».
