Amos 9

NEW JERUSALEM	Pattloch Bibel
1 I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and he said, 'Strike the top of the pil ar so that the thresholdsshake! Smash their heads in, one and al ! And I shal put any survivors to the sword; whoever runs away wil notrun far, whoever escapes wil not make good his escape.	1 Ich sah den Herrn über dem Altar stehen, und er sprach: "Schlage auf den Knauf, daß die Schwellen erbeben! Ich will ihnen allen das Haupt abschlagen und ihren Rest mit dem Schwerte töten! Keiner von ihnen soll durch Flucht entkommen, keiner durch Entrinnen sich retten!
2 Should they burrow into Sheol, my hand wil haul them out; should they climb to heaven, I shal bringthem down.	2 Brächen sie durch in die Unterwelt - auch von dort wird meine Hand sie holen; stiegen sie bis zum Himmel empor - ich werde sie von dort herunterbringen.
3 Should they hide on the top of Carmel, I shall track them down and catch them; should they hide fromme on the sea bed, I shall order the Serpent there to bite them;	3 Versteckten sie sich auf dem Gipfel des Karmel, - ich spüre sie dort auf und fasse sie. Verbärgen sie sich vor mir auf dem Meeresgrund, - ich gebiete der Seeschlange dort, sie zu beißen.
4 if their enemies herd them into captivity, I shal order the sword to kil them there, and I shall fix myeyes on them for evil and not for good.'	4 Ziehen sie vor ihren Feinden her in die Gefangenschaft, gebiete ich dort noch dem Schwert, sie zu töten. Kurz, ich richte meine Augen auf sie zum Unheil und nicht zum Heil."
5 Lord Yahweh Sabaoth- he touches the earth and it melts, and al living things on it lament, as al risestogether like the Nile in Egypt and then subsides like the Egyptian Nile.	5 Der Gebieter und Herr der Heerscharen, der die Erde berührt, daß sie wankt und daß alles trauert, was auf ihr wohnt, wenn sie als Ganzes sich hebt wie der Nil und sich senkt wie der Strom von Ägypten. -
6 He who builds his mansions in the heavens, supporting his vault on the earth; who summons thewaters of the sea and pours them over the surface of the land: Yahweh is his name.	6 Er, der seinen Hochsitz im Himmel baut und sein Gewölbe auf die Erde stützt, der die Wasser des Meeres ruft und sie ausgießt über die Fläche der Erde, - "Herr" ist sein Name.
7 Are not you and the Cushites all the same to me, children of Israel? - declares Yahweh. Did I not bringIsrael up from Egypt and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Aramaeans from Kir?	7 "Seid ihr mir nicht genauso viel wert wie die Kuschiten, ihr Söhne Israels?" - Spruch des Herrn. "Habe ich nicht Israel aus dem Lande Ägypten herausgeführt, doch auch die Philister aus Kaphtor und die Aramäer aus Kir?"
8 Look, Lord Yahweh's eyes are on the sinful kingdom, I shal wipe it off the face of the earth, although Ishall not destroy the House of Jacob completely -declares Yahweh.	8 Siehe, die Augen des Gebieters und Herrn richten sich auf das sündige Königreich: "Ich will es ausrotten von der Oberfläche der Erde. Indes will ich das Haus Jakob nicht völlig ausrotten" - Spruch des Herrn.
9 For look, I shall give the command and shal shake out the House of Israel among al nations as asieve is shaken out without one grain fal ing on the ground.	9 "Ja, seht, ich befehle und lasse das Haus Israel unter alle Völker schütteln, wie man mit einem Sieb schüttelt, daß kein Steinchen zur Erde fällt.
10 All the sinners of my people wil perish by the sword, who say, 'Disaster wil never approach orovertake us.'	10 Durch das Schwert sollen sterben alle Sünder meines Volkes, die behaupten: "Nicht trifft und erreicht uns das Unheil!""
11 On that Day, I shal rebuild the tottering hut of David, make good the gaps in it, restore its ruins andrebuild it as it was in the days of old,	11 "An jenem Tage richte ich die zerfallene Hütte Davids wieder auf. Ich schließe ihre Risse, ihre Trümmer lasse ich wiedererstehen und baue sie auf, daß sie wird wie ehedem.
12 for them to be master of what is left of Edom and of al the nations once cal ed mine -Yahwehdeclares, and he wil perform it.	12 Den Rest von Edom wird man erobern und alle Völker, die mir gehören" - Spruch des Herrn, der solches wirkt.
13 The days are coming- declares Yahweh- when the ploughman wil tread on the heels of the reaper,and the treader of grapes on the heels of the sower of seed, and the mountains wil run with new wine and thehil s al flow with it.	13 "Siehe, es kommen Tage" - Spruch des Herrn -, "da drängt der Pflüger die Schnitter, der Kelterer den Sämann. Triefen werden die Berge von Most, und alle Hügel biegen sich.
14 I shall restore the fortunes of my people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them, theywil plant vineyards and drink their wine, they wil lay out gardens and eat their produce.	14 Dann wende ich das Schicksal meines Volkes Israel: Sie bauen verwüstete Städte auf und wohnen darin; sie pflanzen Weinberge und trinken ihren Wein; sie legen Gärten an und essen ihre Frucht.
15 And I shal plant them in their own soil and they wil never be uprooted again from the country which Ihave given them, declares Yahweh, your God.	15 Ich pflanze sie ein in ihrem Boden, und sie sollen nie mehr aus ihrem Boden ausgerissen werden, den ich ihnen gegeben habe!" So spricht der Herr, dein Gott.
