Amos 9

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and he said, 'Strike the top of the pil ar so that the thresholdsshake! Smash their heads in, one and al ! And I shal put any survivors to the sword; whoever runs away wil notrun far, whoever escapes wil not make good his escape.	1 Láttam az Urat, amint az oltár fölött állt és mondta: »Üss az oszlopfőre, hadd rendüljenek meg a szemöldökfák, összetöröm mindannyiuk fejét. Aki pedig ezután is megmarad közülük, azt karddal ölöm meg. Nem futhatnak el, akik futásnak erednek, és nem menekülhetnek meg, akik menekülnek.
2 Should they burrow into Sheol, my hand wil haul them out; should they climb to heaven, I shal bringthem down.	2 Ha leszállnak az alvilágba, kezem onnan is előhozza őket; ha felszállnak az égbe, onnan is lerántom őket.
3 Should they hide on the top of Carmel, I shall track them down and catch them; should they hide fromme on the sea bed, I shall order the Serpent there to bite them;	3 Ha a Kármel tetejére rejtőznek is el, onnan is felkutatom és elhozom őket; és ha szemem elől a tenger mélyére bújnak is, ott is meghagyom a kígyónak, hogy marja meg őket.
4 if their enemies herd them into captivity, I shal order the sword to kil them there, and I shall fix myeyes on them for evil and not for good.'	4 Ha fogságba mennek ellenségeik előtt, ott is meghagyom a kardnak, hogy ölje meg őket; és rájuk fordítom szememet, de a vesztükre, nem pedig a javukra!«
5 Lord Yahweh Sabaoth- he touches the earth and it melts, and al living things on it lament, as al risestogether like the Nile in Egypt and then subsides like the Egyptian Nile.	5 Az Úr, a Seregek Istene az, aki megérinti a földet, és az elsorvad, és gyászt ölt minden lakója; és megárad a mindenség, mint a Folyó, és leapad, mint Egyiptom folyama.
6 He who builds his mansions in the heavens, supporting his vault on the earth; who summons thewaters of the sea and pours them over the surface of the land: Yahweh is his name.	6 Annak, aki az égben építette fel lakóhelyét és a földre állította boltozatát, aki előhívja a tenger vizeit, és kiönti a föld színére: az Úr az ő neve.
7 Are not you and the Cushites all the same to me, children of Israel? - declares Yahweh. Did I not bringIsrael up from Egypt and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Aramaeans from Kir?	7 »Nemde olyanok vagytok előttem ti, Izrael fiai, mint az etiópok fiai? – mondja az Úr. – Nemde én hoztam fel Izraelt Egyiptom földjéről, a filiszteusokat Kaftorból, és a szíreket Kírből?
8 Look, Lord Yahweh's eyes are on the sinful kingdom, I shal wipe it off the face of the earth, although Ishall not destroy the House of Jacob completely -declares Yahweh.	8 Íme, az Úr Isten rajta tartja szemét a bűnös országon: eltörlöm azt a föld színéről; de nem semmisítem meg teljesen Jákob házát – mondja az Úr. –
9 For look, I shall give the command and shal shake out the House of Israel among al nations as asieve is shaken out without one grain fal ing on the ground.	9 Mert íme, én parancsot adok, és szétszórom Izrael házát az összes nemzetek közé, amint szétszóródik a búza a rostában, de egy szem sem esik a földre.
10 All the sinners of my people wil perish by the sword, who say, 'Disaster wil never approach orovertake us.'	10 Kard által hal meg népem összes bűnöse, akik így szólnak: ‘Nem közeleg felénk és nem ér el minket semmiféle veszedelem!’
11 On that Day, I shal rebuild the tottering hut of David, make good the gaps in it, restore its ruins andrebuild it as it was in the days of old,	11 Azon a napon felállítom Dávidnak leomlott hajlékát, és kijavítom falainak repedéseit, és mindazt, amije romba dőlt megújítom, s ismét felépítem, mint hajdan volt,
12 for them to be master of what is left of Edom and of al the nations once cal ed mine -Yahwehdeclares, and he wil perform it.	12 hogy birtokukba vegyék az emberek maradékát és az összes nemzetet, ahol segítségül hívták a nevemet – mondja az Úr, aki ezt végrehajtja. –
13 The days are coming- declares Yahweh- when the ploughman wil tread on the heels of the reaper,and the treader of grapes on the heels of the sower of seed, and the mountains wil run with new wine and thehil s al flow with it.	13 Íme, jönnek napok – mondja az Úr –, a szántóvető eléri az aratót, a szőlőtaposó a magvetőt; a hegyek édes musttól csepegnek, és minden dombot megművelnek.
14 I shall restore the fortunes of my people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them, theywil plant vineyards and drink their wine, they wil lay out gardens and eat their produce.	14 És jóra fordítom népemnek, Izraelnek sorsát, és felépítik az elhagyott városokat, és lakni fognak bennük; szőlőket ültetnek és borukat isszák, kerteket ültetnek és gyümölcsüket eszik.
15 And I shal plant them in their own soil and they wil never be uprooted again from the country which Ihave given them, declares Yahweh, your God.	15 És palántaként elültetem őket földjükön, és nem tépik ki őket többé földjükről, melyet nekik adtam« – mondja az Úr, a te Istened.
