Amos 9

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and he said, 'Strike the top of the pil ar so that the thresholdsshake! Smash their heads in, one and al ! And I shal put any survivors to the sword; whoever runs away wil notrun far, whoever escapes wil not make good his escape.	1 Я бачив Господа, що стояв при жертовнику. І він мовив: «Удар по главнях, щоб аж одвірки захитались! Я всім їм голови порозбиваю, а тих з них, що зостануться, мечем повбиваю; ані один з них не втече, ані один з них не спасеться.
2 Should they burrow into Sheol, my hand wil haul them out; should they climb to heaven, I shal bringthem down.	2 Хоч би в Шеол зарились, то й звідти їх моя рука добуде. Хоч би знялись на небо, я їх і звідти поскидаю.
3 Should they hide on the top of Carmel, I shall track them down and catch them; should they hide fromme on the sea bed, I shall order the Serpent there to bite them;	3 Хоч би сховались на вершині Кармелю, я їх шукатиму і візьму звідти. Хоч би запроторились від мого ока на дні моря, я і там звелю змієві, і він їх кусатиме.
4 if their enemies herd them into captivity, I shal order the sword to kil them there, and I shall fix myeyes on them for evil and not for good.'	4 Хоч би пішли перед своїми ворогами у неволю, я й там повелю мечеві, й він уб’є їх. Оберну на них мої очі, — та на лихо, не на благо.»
5 Lord Yahweh Sabaoth- he touches the earth and it melts, and al living things on it lament, as al risestogether like the Nile in Egypt and then subsides like the Egyptian Nile.	5 Бо Господь, Бог сил, — то він, що землі торкнеться, і вона тане, і всі її мешканці тужать; і вся вона, немов ріка, здіймається вгору й осідає знову, як ріка Єгипту.
6 He who builds his mansions in the heavens, supporting his vault on the earth; who summons thewaters of the sea and pours them over the surface of the land: Yahweh is his name.	6 Він збудував на небі свої високії палаци, він заснував своє склепіння над землею. Він кличе води моря, і на поверхню землі їх розливає; Господь — ім’я йому!
7 Are not you and the Cushites all the same to me, children of Israel? - declares Yahweh. Did I not bringIsrael up from Egypt and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Aramaeans from Kir?	7 «Чи ж ви мені не як кушіїв діти, о діти Ізраїля, — слово Господнє? Чи ж я Ізраїля не вивів з Єгипетського краю, і філістимлян із Кафтору та арамійців із Кіру?
8 Look, Lord Yahweh's eyes are on the sinful kingdom, I shal wipe it off the face of the earth, although Ishall not destroy the House of Jacob completely -declares Yahweh.	8 Ось очі Господа Бога на грішнім царстві, і я вигублю його з обличчя землі. Однак, не вигублю я зовсім Яковового дому, — слово Господнє.
9 For look, I shall give the command and shal shake out the House of Israel among al nations as asieve is shaken out without one grain fal ing on the ground.	9 Бо ось ізвелю я і просію дім Ізраїля проміж усі народи, як то просівають у решеті, але й зернятко не впаде на землю.
10 All the sinners of my people wil perish by the sword, who say, 'Disaster wil never approach orovertake us.'	10 Усі грішники мого народу від меча поляжуть, вони, що кажуть: Не наблизиться, не прийде на нас лихо!
11 On that Day, I shal rebuild the tottering hut of David, make good the gaps in it, restore its ruins andrebuild it as it was in the days of old,	11 Того дня я підведу розвалену Давидову халупу, поправлю в ній проломи, підійму її румовища. Я відбудую її, як була за днів днедавніх,
12 for them to be master of what is left of Edom and of al the nations once cal ed mine -Yahwehdeclares, and he wil perform it.	12 щоб вони заволоділи останком Едома і всіма народами, що на них було призване моє ім’я, — слово Господа, який це зробить.
13 The days are coming- declares Yahweh- when the ploughman wil tread on the heels of the reaper,and the treader of grapes on the heels of the sower of seed, and the mountains wil run with new wine and thehil s al flow with it.	13 Настане час, — слово Господнє, — коли орач женця застане, а той, що топче грона, — того, що зерно розсіває. Гори точитимуть сік винний, і всі пагірки розтануть.
14 I shall restore the fortunes of my people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them, theywil plant vineyards and drink their wine, they wil lay out gardens and eat their produce.	14 Я відновлю Ізраїля, народ мій, і вони відбудують спустошені міста й будуть у них жити. Насадять виноградники й будуть вино з них пити, і розведуть сади, і їстимуть плоди з них.
15 And I shal plant them in their own soil and they wil never be uprooted again from the country which Ihave given them, declares Yahweh, your God.	15 Я посаджу їх на землі їхній, і їх не вирвуть уже з землі їхньої, що я їм дав», — каже Господь, Бог твій.
