Isaiah 3

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Now the Lord Yahweh Sabaoth is about to deprive Jerusalem and Judah of resources and provisions --al reserves of food, al reserves of water-	1 Mert íme, az Úr, a Seregek Ura megfosztja Jeruzsálemet és Júdát a támasztól és oltalomtól, minden támasztól, amit a kenyér jelent, és minden segítségtől, amit a víz nyújt.
2 of hero, warrior, judge, prophet, diviner, elder,	2 Elveszi tőle a hőst és a harcost, a bírót és a prófétát, a jóst és az öreget,
3 captain, dignitary, counsellor, architect, soothsayer.	3 ötven ember parancsnokát és a tekintélyest, a tanácsadót, a bölcs mestert és a gyógyításhoz értőt.
4 'I shal give them boys for princes, raw lads to rule over them.'	4 Ifjakat teszek fejedelmeikké, és gyermekek uralkodnak majd rajtuk.
5 People will be il -treated by one another, each by his neighbour; the young wil insult the aged, and thelow, the respected.	5 Szorongatja a nép között egyik ember a másikat, mindenki a társát: rátámad az ifjú az öregre, s az alacsonyrendű a tekintélyesre.
6 Yes, a man wil catch hold of his brother in their father's house, to say, 'You have a cloak, so you beleader, and rule this heap of ruins.'	6 Az egyik megragadja testvérét, aki atyja házából való: »Neked még van ruhád, légy a fejedelmünk, és e romhalmaz legyen a te kezed alatt!«,
7 And, that day, the other wil protest, 'I am no healer; in my house there is neither food nor clothing; donot make me leader of the people.'	7 az így kiált majd azon a napon: »Nem leszek én orvosa másnak, hiszen az én házamban sincsen sem kenyér, sem ruha; ne tegyetek engem a nép fejedelmévé!«
8 For Jerusalem has col apsed and Judah has fallen, because their words and deeds affront Yahweh andinsult his glorious gaze.	8 Mert elbukik Jeruzsálem, és Júda elesik, mivel szavuk és tetteik az Úr ellen irányulnak, hogy szembeszegüljenek dicsőséges szemével.
9 Their complacency bears witness against them, they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not conceal it,al the worse for them, for they have hatched their own downfal .	9 Arcátlanságuk vádolja őket, és vétküket, mint Szodoma, hirdetik, nem titkolják. Jaj nekik, mert meglakolnak a gonoszságért!
10 Say, 'Blessed the upright, for he will feed on the fruit of his deeds;	10 Nyugtassátok meg az igazat: »Jól van!«, mert tettei gyümölcsét fogja enni.
11 woe to the wicked, it wil go il with him, for he will be treated as his actions deserve.'	11 Jaj a gonosznak! Rosszul jár, mert keze tetteihez mérten lesz fizetsége.
12 O my people, their oppressors pil age them and extortioners rule over them! O my people, your rulersmislead you and efface the paths you ought to fol ow!	12 Népemet gyermekek sanyargatják, és asszonyok uralkodnak rajta. Én népem! Vezetőid tévútra visznek, és lépteid útját megzavarják.
13 Yahweh has risen to accuse, is standing to pass judgement on the people.	13 Ám az Úr felkel, hogy pereljen, feláll, hogy megítélje a népeket.
14 Yahweh is about to try the elders and the princes of his people, 'You are the ones who have ravagedthe vineyard, the spoils of the poor are in your houses.	14 Az Úr ítéletre száll népe véneivel és fejedelmeivel: »Ti feldúltátok a szőlőt, szegénytől rabolt holmi van házaitokban.
15 By what right do you crush my people and grind the faces of the poor?' says the Lord Yahweh Sabaoth.	15 Miért zúzzátok össze népemet, és töritek össze a szegények arcát?« – mondja az Úr, a Seregek Istene.
16 Yahweh says: Because Zion's daughters are proud and walk with heads held high and enticing eyes --with mincing steps they go, jingling the bangles on their feet-	16 Így szól az Úr: »Mivel felfuvalkodtak Sion leányai, nyakukat nyújtogatva és szemükkel kacsingatva járnak, tipegve lépegetnek, és lábpereceikkel csörögnek,
17 the Lord will give Zion's daughters scabby heads, Yahweh will lay their foreheads bare.	17 azért kopasszá teszi az Úr Sion leányainak feje tetejét, és halántékukat felfedi az Úr.«
18 That day the Lord wil take away the ornamental chains, medallions, crescents,	18 Azon a napon majd elveszi az Úr a díszeket: a lábpereceket és a nyakláncokat,
19 pendants, bracelets, trinkets,	19 a holdacskákat és a fülbevalókat, a karpereceket és a fátylakat,
20 diadems, ankle-chains, necklaces, scent bottles, amulets,	20 a hajdíszeket és a lábkarikákat, az öveket, az illatszertartókat és a varázsszobrokat,
21 finger-rings, nose-rings,	21 a gyűrűket és az orrkarikákat,
22 party dresses, cloaks, scarves, purses,	22 a díszes ruhákat és a palástokat, a vállkendőket és az erszényeket,
23 mirrors, linen clothes, turbans and mantillas.	23 a tükröket és a gyolcsokat, a fejkötőket és a lepleket.
24 Then, instead of perfume, a stink; instead of belt, a rope, instead of hair elaborately dressed, a shavenscalp, instead of gorgeous clothes, sacking round the waist, and brand marks instead of beauty.	24 És lesz a balzsamillat helyett büdösség, az öv helyett kötél, a bodorított haj helyett kopaszság, a díszöltözet helyett zsákruha és a szépség helyett szégyenbélyeg.
25 Your men wil fal by the sword, your warriors in battle,	25 Embereid a kardtól hullanak el, és hőseid a harcban.
26 and her gates wil moan and mourn; she wil sit on the ground, deserted.	26 Szomorkodnak és gyászolnak majd városkapui, ő pedig kifosztva ül a földön.
