Psalms 95

NEW JERUSALEM	MODERN HEBREW BIBLE
1 Come, let us cry out with joy to Yahweh, acclaim the rock of our salvation.	1 לכו נרננה ליהוה נריעה לצור ישענו
2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving, acclaim him with music.	2 נקדמה פניו בתודה בזמרות נריע לו
3 For Yahweh is a great God, a king greater than al the gods.	3 כי אל גדול יהוה ומלך גדול על כל אלהים
4 In his power are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are his;	4 אשר בידו מחקרי ארץ ותועפות הרים לו
5 the sea belongs to him, for he made it, and the dry land, moulded by his hands.	5 אשר לו הים והוא עשהו ויבשת ידיו יצרו
6 Come, let us bow low and do reverence; kneel before Yahweh who made us!	6 באו נשתחוה ונכרעה נברכה לפני יהוה עשנו
7 For he is our God, and we the people of his sheepfold, the flock of his hand. If only you would listen tohim today!	7 כי הוא אלהינו ואנחנו עם מרעיתו וצאן ידו היום אם בקלו תשמעו
8 Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as at the time of Massah in the desert,	8 אל תקשו לבבכם כמריבה כיום מסה במדבר
9 when your ancestors chal enged me, put me to the test, and saw what I could do!	9 אשר נסוני אבותיכם בחנוני גם ראו פעלי
10 For forty years that generation sickened me, and I said, 'Always fickle hearts; they cannot grasp myways.'	10 ארבעים שנה אקוט בדור ואמר עם תעי לבב הם והם לא ידעו דרכי
11 Then in my anger I swore they would never enter my place of rest.	11 אשר נשבעתי באפי אם יבאון אל מנוחתי
