NEW JERUSALEMKING JAMES BIBLE
Come, let us cry out with joy to Yahweh, acclaim the rock of our salvation.1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving, acclaim him with music.2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
For Yahweh is a great God, a king greater than al the gods.3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In his power are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are his;4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
the sea belongs to him, for he made it, and the dry land, moulded by his hands.5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us bow low and do reverence; kneel before Yahweh who made us!6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
For he is our God, and we the people of his sheepfold, the flock of his hand. If only you would listen tohim today!7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as at the time of Massah in the desert,8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
when your ancestors chal enged me, put me to the test, and saw what I could do!9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
For forty years that generation sickened me, and I said, 'Always fickle hearts; they cannot grasp myways.'10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Then in my anger I swore they would never enter my place of rest.11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
