1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'The decrees are lilies' Of Asaph Psalm] Shepherd of Israel, listen, you wholead Joseph like a flock, enthroned on the winged creatures, shine forth	1 למנצח אל ששנים עדות לאסף מזמור רעה ישראל האזינה נהג כצאן יוסף ישב הכרובים הופיעה
2 over Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh; rouse your valour and come to our help.	2 לפני אפרים ובנימן ומנשה עוררה את גבורתך ולכה לישעתה לנו
3 God, bring us back, let your face shine on us and we shall be safe.	3 אלהים השיבנו והאר פניך ונושעה
4 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, how long wil you flare up at your people's prayer?	4 יהוה אלהים צבאות עד מתי עשנת בתפלת עמך
5 You have made tears their food, redoubled tears their drink.	5 האכלתם לחם דמעה ותשקמו בדמעות שליש
6 You let our neighbours quarrel over us, our enemies mock us.	6 תשימנו מדון לשכנינו ואיבינו ילעגו למו
7 God Sabaoth, bring us back, let your face shine on us and we shall be safe.	7 אלהים צבאות השיבנו והאר פניך ונושעה
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt, to plant it you drove out nations;	8 גפן ממצרים תסיע תגרש גוים ותטעה
9 you cleared a space for it, it took root and fil ed the whole country.	9 פנית לפניה ותשרש שרשיה ותמלא ארץ
10 The mountains were covered with its shade, and the cedars of God with its branches,	10 כסו הרים צלה וענפיה ארזי אל
11 its boughs stretched as far as the sea, its shoots as far as the River.	11 תשלח קצירה עד ים ואל נהר יונקותיה
12 Why have you broken down its fences? Every passer-by plucks its grapes,	12 למה פרצת גדריה וארוה כל עברי דרך
13 boars from the forest tear at it, wild beasts feed on it.	13 יכרסמנה חזיר מיער וזיז שדי ירענה
14 God Sabaoth, come back, we pray, look down from heaven and see, visit this vine;	14 אלהים צבאות שוב נא הבט משמים וראה ופקד גפן זאת
15 protect what your own hand has planted.	15 וכנה אשר נטעה ימינך ועל בן אמצתה לך
16 They have thrown it on the fire like dung, the frown of your rebuke wil destroy them.	16 שרפה באש כסוחה מגערת פניך יאבדו
17 May your hand protect those at your side, the child of Adam you have strengthened for yourself!	17 תהי ידך על איש ימינך על בן אדם אמצת לך
18 Never again wil we turn away from you, give us life and we will cal upon your name.	18 ולא נסוג ממך תחינו ובשמך נקרא
