1 [Song of Ascents Of David] I rejoiced that they said to me, 'Let us go to the house of Yahweh.'	1 Zarándok-ének. Dávidtól. Örvendeztem, amikor azt mondták nekem: »Az Úr házába megyünk.«
2 At last our feet are standing at your gates, Jerusalem!	2 És lábunk már itt áll udvaraidban, Jeruzsálem!
3 Jerusalem, built as a city, in one united whole,	3 Jeruzsálem városnak épült, részei pompásan egybeillenek.
4 there the tribes go up, the tribes of Yahweh, a sign for Israel to give thanks to the name of Yahweh.	4 Oda járnak fel a törzsek, az Úr törzsei, hogy Izrael törvénye szerint hálát adjanak az Úr nevének.
5 For there are set the thrones of judgement, the thrones of the house of David.	5 Ott állnak a bírói székek, Dávid házának székei.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, prosperity for your homes!	6 Kívánjatok békességet Jeruzsálemnek: »Bőségben éljenek, akik szeretnek téged!
7 Peace within your wal s, prosperity in your palaces!	7 Békesség legyen falaid között és bőség tornyaidban!«
8 For love of my brothers and my friends I wil say, 'Peace upon you!'	8 Testvéreimért és a hozzám közelállókért mondom: »Béke legyen veled!«
9 For love of the house of Yahweh our God I wil pray for your wel -being.	9 Az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek házáért jót kívánok neked.
