3 I said to them, 'The gates of Jerusalem must not be opened until the sun gets hot; and the doors mustbe shut and barred before it begins to go down. Detail guards from the residents of Jerusalem, each to his post,in front of his own house.'	3 I dałem im rozkaz: Nie otworzy się bram jerozolimskich, aż słońce będzie dopiekać; i dopóki ludzie są jeszcze na nogach, zamknie się wrota i zatarasuje oraz postawi się obywateli jerozolimskich jako stróżów: jednych na wyznaczonym posterunku, drugich przed własnym domem.
4 The city was large and spacious but the population was smal , and the houses had not been rebuilt.	4 Miasto było wprawdzie rozległe i ważne, ale w jego obrębie było ludności mało i nie było domów odbudowanych.
5 My God then inspired me to assemble the nobles, the officials and the people for the purpose of takinga census by families. 7 They were the ones who arrived with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani,Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah.
