1 Benjamin was father of Bela, his first-born, Ashbel second, Ahiram third,1 ובנימן הוליד את בלע בכרו אשבל השני ואחרח השלישי
2 Nohah fourth, Rapha fifth.2 נוחה הרביעי ורפא החמישי
3 Bela had sons: Addar, Gera father of Ehud,3 ויהיו בנים לבלע אדר וגרא ואביהוד
4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,4 ואבישוע ונעמן ואחוח
5 Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.5 וגרא ושפופן וחורם
6 These are the sons of Ehud. They were heads of families of the inhabitants of Geba and led them intoexile at Manahath:6 ואלה בני אחוד אלה הם ראשי אבות ליושבי גבע ויגלום אל מנחת
7 Naaman, Ahijah and Gera. It was he who led them into exile; he became the father of Uzza andAhihud.7 ונעמן ואחיה וגרא הוא הגלם והוליד את עזא ואת אחיחד
8 Shaharaim had children in the Plains of Moab after he had dismissed his wives, Hushim and Baara.8 ושחרים הוליד בשדה מואב מן שלחו אתם חושים ואת בערא נשיו

12 The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham and Shemed, who built Ono and Lud and its dependencies.12 ובני אלפעל עבר ומשעם ושמד הוא בנה את אונו ואת לד ובנתיה
13 Beriah and Shema were the chiefs of the families who lived at Aijalon; they routed the inhabitants ofGath.13 וברעה ושמע המה ראשי האבות ליושבי אילון המה הבריחו את יושבי גת
14 His brother was Shashak. Jeremoth,14 ואחיו ששק וירמות
15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,15 וזבדיה וערד ועדר
16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha were the sons of Beriah.16 ומיכאל וישפה ויוחא בני בריעה
17 Zebadiah, Meshul am, Hizki, Haber,17 וזבדיה ומשלם וחזקי וחבר
18 Ishmerai, Izliah, Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.18 וישמרי ויזליאה ויובב בני אלפעל
19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,19 ויקים וזכרי וזבדי
20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,20 ואליעני וצלתי ואליאל
21 Adaiah, Beraiah, Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.21 ועדיה ובראיה ושמרת בני שמעי
22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,22 וישפן ועבר ואליאל
23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,23 ועבדון וזכרי וחנן
24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,24 וחנניה ועילם וענתתיה
25 Iphdeiah, Penuel were the sons of Shashak.25 ויפדיה ופניאל בני ששק
26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,26 ושמשרי ושחריה ועתליה
27 Jaareshaiah, Elijah, Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.27 ויערשיה ואליה וזכרי בני ירחם
28 These were chiefs of families according to their relationship. They lived in Jerusalem.28 אלה ראשי אבות לתלדותם ראשים אלה ישבו בירושלם
29 At Gibeon lived Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife was cal ed Maacah.29 ובגבעון ישבו אבי גבעון ושם אשתו מעכה
30 His first-born son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,30 ובנו הבכור עבדון וצור וקיש ובעל ונדב
31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher31 וגדור ואחיו וזכר
32 and Mikloth. Mikloth fathered Shimeah. But they, unlike their brothers, lived at Jerusalem with theirbrothers.32 ומקלות הוליד את שמאה ואף המה נגד אחיהם ישבו בירושלם עם אחיהם
33 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.33 ונר הוליד את קיש וקיש הוליד את שאול ושאול הוליד את יהונתן ואת מלכי שוע ואת אבינדב ואת אשבעל

39 Sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam, his first-born, Jeush second, Eliphelet third.39 ובני עשק אחיו אולם בכרו יעוש השני ואליפלט השלשי
40 The sons of Ulam were warriors-archers. They had as many as a hundred and fifty sons andgrandsons. All these belonged to the sons of Benjamin.40 ויהיו בני אולם אנשים גברי חיל דרכי קשת ומרבים בנים ובני בנים מאה וחמשים כל אלה מבני בנימן
