NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 For the liturgy, David and the religious officials selected the sons of Asaph, of Heman and ofJeduthun, who were to prophesy to the accompaniment of harps, lyres and cymbals. The list of ministrants forthis service was as follows:	1 وافرز داود ورؤساء الجيش للخدمة بني آساف وهيمان ويدوثون المتنبئين بالعيدان والرباب والصنوج. وكان عددهم من رجال العمل حسب خدمتهم
2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under thedirection of Asaph who prophesied at the king's direction.	2 من بني آساف زكور ويوسف ونثنيا واشرئيلة بنو آساف تحت يد آساف المتنبّئ بين يدي الملك.
3 Of Jeduthun there were the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah,six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, with the harp, prophesied when thanks and praise were tobe given to Yahweh.	3 من يدوثون بنو يدوثون جدليا وصري ويشعيا وحشبيا ومتثيا ستة تحت يد ابيهم يدوثون المتنبّئ بالعود لاجل الحمد والتسبيح للرب.
4 Of Heman there were the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah,Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.	4 من هيمان بنو هيمان بقّيّا ومتّنيا وعزيئيل وشبوئيل ويريموت وحننيا وحناني وايلياثة وجدّلتي وروممتي عزر ويشبقاشة وملوثي وهوثير ومحزيوث.
5 Al these were sons of Heman, the king's seer; at God's word they blew the horn. God gave Hemanfourteen sons and three daughters.	5 جميع هؤلاء بنو هيمان رائي الملك بكلام الله لرفع القرن. ورزق الرب هيمان اربعة عشر ابنا وثلاث بنات.
6 Under the king's direction al these had the duty of singing to the accompaniment of cymbal, lyre andharp for the liturgy of the house of God under the direction of their fathers. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman,	6 كل هؤلاء تحت يد ابيهم لاجل غناء بيت الرب بالصنوج والرباب والعيدان لخدمة بيت الله تحت يد الملك وآساف ويدوثون وهيمان.
7 trained in the songs of Yahweh, with their brothers, numbered two hundred and eighty-eight, alexpert.	7 وكان عددهم مع اخوتهم المتعلمين الغناء للرب كل الخبيرين مئتين وثمانية وثمانين.
8 Junior and senior, master and pupil alike, they drew lots for their term of duty.	8 والقوا قرع الحراسة الصغير كما الكبير المعلم مع التلميذ.
9 The first to whom the lot fel was the Asaphite, Joseph. The second was Gedaliah, who with his sonsand brothers made twelve.	9 فخرجت القرعة الاولى التي هي لآساف ليوسف. الثانية لجدليا. هو واخوته وبنوه اثنا عشر.
10 The third was Zaccur, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	10 الثالثة لزكور. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
11 The fourth was Izri, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	11 الرابعة ليصري. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
12 The fifth was Nethaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	12 الخامسة لنثنيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
13 The sixth was Bukkiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	13 السادسة لبقيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
14 The seventh was Jesharelah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	14 السابعة ليشريئيلة. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
15 The eighth was Jeshaiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	15 الثامنة ليشعيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
16 The ninth was Mattaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	16 التاسعة لمتّنيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
17 The tenth was Shimei, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	17 العاشرة لشمعي. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
18 The eleventh was Azarel, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	18 الحادية عشرة لعزرئيل. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
19 The twelfth was Hashabiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	19 الثانية عشرة لحشبيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
20 The thirteenth was Shubael, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	20 الثالثة عشرة لشوبائيل. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
21 The fourteenth was Mattithiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	21 الرابعة عشرة لمتثيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
22 The fifteenth was Jeremoth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	22 الخامسة عشرة ليريموت. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
23 The sixteenth was Hananiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	23 السادسة عشرة لحننيا. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
24 The seventeenth was Joshbekashah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	24 السابعة عشرة ليشبقاشة. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
25 The eighteenth was Hanani, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	25 الثامنة عشرة لحناني. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
26 The nineteenth was Mal othi, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	26 التاسعة عشرة لملوّثي. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
27 The twentieth was Eliathah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	27 العشرون لإيليآثة. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
28 The twenty-first was Hothir, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	28 الحادية والعشرون لهوثير. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
29 The twenty-second was Giddalti, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	29 الثانية والعشرون لجدلتي. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
30 The twenty-third was Mahazioth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	30 الثالثة والعشرون لمحزيوث. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر.
31 The twenty-fourth was Romamti-Ezer, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	31 الرابعة والعشرون لروممتي عزر. بنوه واخوته اثنا عشر
