NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 For the liturgy, David and the religious officials selected the sons of Asaph, of Heman and ofJeduthun, who were to prophesy to the accompaniment of harps, lyres and cymbals. The list of ministrants forthis service was as follows:	1 Pour le service, David et les officiers mirent à part les fils d'Asaph, de Hémân et de Yedutûn,les prophètes qui s'accompagnaient de lyres, de cithares et de cymbales, et l'on compta les hommes affectés à ceservice.
2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under thedirection of Asaph who prophesied at the king's direction.	2 Pour les fils d'Asaph: Zakkur, Yoseph, Netanya, Asarééla; les fils d'Asaph dépendaient deleur père qui prophétisait sous la direction du roi.
3 Of Jeduthun there were the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah,six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, with the harp, prophesied when thanks and praise were tobe given to Yahweh.	3 Pour Yedutûn: fils de Yedutûn: Gedalyahu, Ceri, Yeshayahu, Hashabyahu, Mattityahu; ilsétaient six sous la direction de leur père Yedutûn qui prophétisait au son des lyres en l'honneur et à la louange deYahvé.
4 Of Heman there were the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah,Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.	4 Pour Hémân: fils de Hémân: Buqqiyyahu, Mattanyahu, Uzziel, Shebuel, Yerimot, Hananya,Hanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Româmti-Ezer, Yoshbeqasha, Malloti, Hotir, Mahaziot.
5 Al these were sons of Heman, the king's seer; at God's word they blew the horn. God gave Hemanfourteen sons and three daughters.	5 Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Hémân, le voyant du roi; aux paroles de Dieu, ils sonnaient de latrompe. Dieu donna à Hémân quatorze fils et trois filles;
6 Under the king's direction al these had the duty of singing to the accompaniment of cymbal, lyre andharp for the liturgy of the house of God under the direction of their fathers. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman,	6 ils chantaient tous sous la direction de leur père dans le Temple de Yahvé, au son descymbales, des cithares et des lyres, au service du Temple de Dieu, sous les ordres du roi. Asaph, Yedutûn,Hémân,
7 trained in the songs of Yahweh, with their brothers, numbered two hundred and eighty-eight, alexpert.	7 ceux qui avaient appris à chanter pour Yahvé, furent comptés avec leurs frères; ils étaient entout 288 à s'y entendre.
8 Junior and senior, master and pupil alike, they drew lots for their term of duty.	8 Ils tirèrent au sort l'ordre à observer, pour le petit comme pour le grand, pour le maîtrecomme pour l'élève.
9 The first to whom the lot fel was the Asaphite, Joseph. The second was Gedaliah, who with his sonsand brothers made twelve.	9 Le premier sur qui tomba le sort fut l'Asaphite Yoseph. Le second fut Gedalyahu; avec sesfils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
10 The third was Zaccur, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	10 Le troisième fut Zakkur; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
11 The fourth was Izri, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	11 Le quatrième fut Yiçri; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
12 The fifth was Nethaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	12 Le cinquième fut Netanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
13 The sixth was Bukkiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	13 Le sixième fut Buqqiyyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
14 The seventh was Jesharelah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	14 Le septième fut Yesarééla; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
15 The eighth was Jeshaiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	15 Le huitième fut Yeshayahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
16 The ninth was Mattaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	16 Le neuvième fut Mattanyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
17 The tenth was Shimei, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	17 Le dixième fut Shiméï; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
18 The eleventh was Azarel, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	18 Le onzième fut Azaréel; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
19 The twelfth was Hashabiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	19 Le douzième fut Hashabyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
20 The thirteenth was Shubael, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	20 Le treizième fut Shubaël; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
21 The fourteenth was Mattithiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	21 Le quatorzième fut Mattityahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
22 The fifteenth was Jeremoth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	22 Le quinzième fut Yerémot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
23 The sixteenth was Hananiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	23 Le seizième fut Hananyahu; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
24 The seventeenth was Joshbekashah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	24 Le dix-septième fut Yoshbeqasha; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
25 The eighteenth was Hanani, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	25 Le dix-huitième fut Hanani; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
26 The nineteenth was Mal othi, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	26 Le dix-neuvième fut Malloti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
27 The twentieth was Eliathah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	27 Le vingtième fut Elyata; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
28 The twenty-first was Hothir, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	28 Le vingt et unième fut Hotir; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
29 The twenty-second was Giddalti, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	29 Le vingt-deuxième fut Giddalti; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
30 The twenty-third was Mahazioth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	30 Le vingt-troisième fut Mahaziot; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
31 The twenty-fourth was Romamti-Ezer, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	31 Le vingt-quatrième fut Româmti-Ezer; avec ses fils et ses frères ils étaient douze.
