NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 For the liturgy, David and the religious officials selected the sons of Asaph, of Heman and ofJeduthun, who were to prophesy to the accompaniment of harps, lyres and cymbals. The list of ministrants forthis service was as follows:	1 POI Davide ed i capi dell’esercito fecero, fra i figliuoli di Asaf, e di Heman, e di Iedutun, gli spartimenti del servigio di quelli che aveano da profetizzar con cetere, con salteri, e con cembali; e la lor descrizione fu fatta d’uomini abili all’opera del lor ministerio.
2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under thedirection of Asaph who prophesied at the king's direction.	2 I figliuoli di Asaf furono Zaccur, e Iosef, e Netania, ed Asareela, figliuoli di Asaf, il qual profetizzava sotto il re.
3 Of Jeduthun there were the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah,six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun who, with the harp, prophesied when thanks and praise were tobe given to Yahweh.	3 I figliuoli di Iedutun furono Ghedalia, e Seri, ed Isaia, ed Hasabia, e Mattitia, e Simi, sei in tutto, con cetere, sotto la condotta di Iedutun, lor padre, che profetizzava in celebrare e lodare il Signore.
4 Of Heman there were the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah,Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.	4 I figliuoli di Heman furono Bucchia, Mattania, Uzziel, Sebuel, e Ierimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Ghiddalti, Romamtiezer, Iosbecasa, Malloti, Hotir, e Mahaziot.
5 Al these were sons of Heman, the king's seer; at God's word they blew the horn. God gave Hemanfourteen sons and three daughters.	5 Tutti questi furono figliuoli di Heman, veggente del re, nelle parole di Dio, pertinenti ad innalzare il corno. E Iddio avea dati ad Heman quattordici figliuoli, e tre figliuole.
6 Under the king's direction al these had the duty of singing to the accompaniment of cymbal, lyre andharp for the liturgy of the house of God under the direction of their fathers. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman,	6 Tutti costoro, sotto la condotta dei lor padri, vacavano alla musica della Casa del Signore, con cembali, salteri, e cetere, per lo ministerio della Casa di Dio; ed Asaf, Iedutun, ed Heman, erano sotto la condotta del re.
7 trained in the songs of Yahweh, with their brothers, numbered two hundred and eighty-eight, alexpert.	7 E il numero loro, co’ lor fratelli, ammaestrati nella musica del Signore, era di dugentottantotto, tutti mastri cantori
8 Junior and senior, master and pupil alike, they drew lots for their term of duty.	8 E si tirarono le sorti delle mute del servigio, i piccoli al par de’ grandi, i mastri al par de’ discepoli.
9 The first to whom the lot fel was the Asaphite, Joseph. The second was Gedaliah, who with his sonsand brothers made twelve.	9 E la prima sorte scadde per Asaf, a Iosef; la seconda a Ghedalia, il quale, coi suoi fratelli, e figliuoli, faceva il numero di dodici;
10 The third was Zaccur, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	10 la terza a Zaccur, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
11 The fourth was Izri, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	11 la quarta ad Isri, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
12 The fifth was Nethaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	12 la quinta a Netania, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
13 The sixth was Bukkiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	13 la sesta a Bucchia, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
14 The seventh was Jesharelah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	14 la settima a Iesareela, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
15 The eighth was Jeshaiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	15 l’ottava ad Isaia, il quale, coi suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
16 The ninth was Mattaniah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	16 la nona a Mattania, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
17 The tenth was Shimei, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	17 la decima a Simi, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
18 The eleventh was Azarel, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	18 l’undecima ad Azareel, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
19 The twelfth was Hashabiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	19 la duodecima ad Hasabia, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
20 The thirteenth was Shubael, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	20 la tredecima a Subael, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
21 The fourteenth was Mattithiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	21 la quartadecima a Mattitia, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
22 The fifteenth was Jeremoth, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	22 la quintadecima a Ieremot, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
23 The sixteenth was Hananiah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	23 la sestadecima ad Hanania, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
24 The seventeenth was Joshbekashah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	24 la diciassettesima a Iosbecasa, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
25 The eighteenth was Hanani, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	25 la diciottesima ad Hanani, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
26 The nineteenth was Mal othi, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	26 la diciannovesima a Malloti, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
27 The twentieth was Eliathah, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	27 la ventesima ad Eliata, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
28 The twenty-first was Hothir, who with his sons and brothers made twelve.	28 la ventunesima ad Hotir, il quale, co’ suoi figliuoli, e fratelli, faceva il numero di dodici;
