1 Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, beloved.	1 Azért tehát, szeretett és hőn óhajtott testvéreim, örömöm és koronám, így tartsatok ki az Úrban, szeretteim!

6 Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.	6 Ne legyetek semmiben sem aggodalmaskodók, hanem minden helyzetben hálaadással végzett imádságban és könyörgésben terjesszétek a kéréseiteket Isten elé!

10 I rejoice greatly in the Lord that now at last you revived your concern for me. 12 I know indeed how to live in humble circumstances; I know also how to live with abundance. 17 It is not that I am eager for the gift; rather, I am eager for the profit that accrues to your account.	17 Nem mintha adományra vágynék, hanem mert annak gyümölcsét áhítom, amelyet bőségesen írnak majd a javatokra.
18 I have received full payment and I abound.
