2 LORD my God, in you I take refuge; rescue me; save me from all who pursue me,	2 Yahveh, Dios mío, a ti me acojo, sálvame de todos mis perseguidores, líbrame;
3 Lest they maul me like lions, tear me to pieces with none to save.	3 ¡que no arrebate como un león mi vida el que desgarra, sin que nadie libre!
4 LORD my God, if I am at fault in this, if there is guilt on my hands,	4 Yahveh, Dios mío, si algo de esto hice, si hay en mis manos injusticia,
5 If I have repaid my friend with evil-- I spared even those who hated me without cause--	5 si a mi bienhechor con mal he respondido si he perdonado al opresor injusto,
6 Then let my enemy pursue and overtake me, trample my life to the ground, and leave me dishonored in the dust.Selah	6 ¡que el enemigo me persiga y me alcance, estrelle mi vida contra el suelo, y tire mis entrañas por el polvo! Pausa.
7 Rise up, LORD, in your anger; rise against the fury of my foes. Wake to judge as you have decreed.	7 Levántate, Yahveh, en tu cólera, surge contra los arrebatos de mis opresores, despierta ya, Dios mío, tú que el juicio convocas.
8 Have the assembly of the peoples gather about you; sit on your throne high above them,	8 Que te rodee la asamblea de las naciones, y tú en lo alto vuélvete hacia ella.
9 O LORD, judge of the nations. Grant me justice, LORD, for I am blameless, free of any guilt.	9 (Yahveh, juez de los pueblos.) Júzgame, Yahveh, conforme a mi justicia y según mi inocencia.
10 Bring the malice of the wicked to an end; uphold the innocent, O God of justice, who tries hearts and minds.	10 Haz que cese la maldad de los impíos, y afianza al justo, tú que escrutas corazones y entrañas, oh Dios justo.
11 A shield before me is God who saves the honest heart.	11 Dios, el escudo que me cubre, el salvador de los de recto corazón;
12 God is a just judge, who rebukes in anger every day.	12 Dios, el juez justo, tardo a la cólera, pero Dios amenazante en todo tiempo
13 If sinners do not repent, God sharpens his sword, strings and readies the bow,	13 para el que no se vuelve. Afile su espada el enemigo, tense su arco y lo apareje,
14 Prepares his deadly shafts, makes arrows blazing thunderbolts.	14 para sí solo prepara armas de muerte, hace tizones de sus flechas;

17 Their mischief comes back upon themselves; their violence falls on their own heads.	17 revierte su obra en su cabeza, su violencia en su cerviz recae.
18 I praise the justice of the LORD; I celebrate the name of the LORD Most High.	18 Doy gracias a Yahveh por su justicia, salmodio al nombre de Yahveh, el Altísimo.
