1 Das sind die Wegstrecken, die die Israeliten bei ihrem Auszug aus Ägypten unter der Führung von Mose und Aaron zurücklegten, nach Abteilungen geordnet.	1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Mose schrieb die Orte, an denen sie zu den einzelnen Wegstrecken aufbrachen, auf Befehl des Herrn auf. Das sind also die Wegstrecken in der Reihenfolge, in der die Israeliten aufbrachen:	2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
3 Aus Ramses brachen sie am fünfzehnten Tag des ersten Monats auf. Am Tag nach dem Paschafest zogen die Israeliten vor den Augen aller Ägypter voll Zuversicht aus,	3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4 während die Ägypter ihre Erstgeborenen begruben, die der Herr bei ihnen alle erschlagen hatte, und während der Herr an ihren Göttern sein Strafgericht vollstreckte.	4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
5 Die Israeliten brachen von Ramses auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Sukkot auf.	5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
6 Von Sukkot brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Etam, am Rand der Wüste, auf.	6 And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 Von Etam brachen sie auf, bogen nach Pi-Hahirot gegenüber Baal-Zefon ab und schlugen ihr Lager vor Migdol auf.	7 And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
8 Von Pi-Hahirot brachen sie auf und zogen mitten durch das Meer in die Wüste. In der Wüste Etam waren sie drei Tage unterwegs und schlugen dann ihr Lager in Mara auf.	8 And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
9 Von Mara brachen sie auf und kamen nach Elim. In Elim gab es zwölf Quellen und siebzig Palmen; daher schlugen sie dort ihr Lager auf.	9 And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
10 Von Elim brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager am Schilfmeer auf.	10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
11 Vom Schilfmeer brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in der Wüste Sin auf.	11 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
12 Von der Wüste Sin brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Dofka auf.	12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
13 Von Dofka brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Alusch auf.	13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
14 Von Alusch brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Refidim auf; dort hatte das Volk kein Wasser zu trinken.	14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 Von Refidim brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in der Wüste Sinai auf.	15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 Aus der Wüste Sinai brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Kibrot-Taawa auf.	16 And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 Von Kibrot-Taawa brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Hazerot auf.	17 And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
18 Von Hazerot brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Ritma auf.	18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
19 Von Ritma brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Rimmon-Perez auf.	19 And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.
20 Von Rimmon-Perez brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Libna auf.	20 And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.
21 Von Libna brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Rissa auf.	21 And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
22 Von Rissa brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Kehelata auf.	22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
23 Von Kehelata brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager am Berg Schefer auf.	23 And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
24 Vom Berg Schefer brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Harada auf.	24 And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
25 Von Harada brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Makhelot auf.	25 And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
26 Von Makhelot brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Tahat auf.	26 And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
27 Von Tahat brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Terach auf.	27 And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
28 Von Terach brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Mitka auf.	28 And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
29 Von Mitka brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Haschmona auf.	29 And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
30 Von Haschmona brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Moserot auf.	30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
31 Von Moserot brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Bene-Jaakan auf.	31 And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.
32 Von Bene-Jaakan brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Hor-Gidgad auf.	32 And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.
33 Von Hor-Gidgad brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Jotbata auf.	33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
34 Von Jotbata brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Abrona auf.	34 And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
35 Von Abrona brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Ezjon-Geber auf.	35 And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.
36 Von Ezjon-Geber brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in der Wüste Zin, das heißt Kadesch, auf.	36 And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37 Von Kadesch brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager am Berg Hor am Rand von Edom auf.	37 And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
38 Auf Befehl des Herrn stieg der Priester Aaron auf den Berg Hor und starb dort im vierzigsten Jahr nach dem Auszug der Israeliten aus Ägypten, am ersten Tag des fünften Monats.	38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
39 Aaron war hundertdreiundzwanzig Jahre alt, als er auf dem Berg Hor starb.	39 And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
40 Der kanaanitische König von Arad, der im Negeb, im Süden Kanaans saß, hörte, dass die Israeliten heranrückten.	40 And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 Vom Berg Hor brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Zalmona auf.	41 And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
42 Von Zalmona brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Punon auf.	42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
43 Von Punon brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Obot auf.	43 And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
44 Von Obot brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Ije-Abarim, im Gebiet von Moab, auf.	44 And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.
45 Von Ijim brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Dibon-Gad auf.	45 And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.
46 Von Dibon-Gad brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in Almon-Diblatajim auf.	46 And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
47 Von Almon-Diblatajim brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager im Abarimgebirge vor Nebo auf.	47 And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 Vom Abarimgebirge brachen sie auf und schlugen ihr Lager in den Steppen von Moab am Jordan bei Jericho auf;	48 And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
49 ihr Lager am Jordan erstreckte sich von Bet-Jeschimot bis Abel-Schittim in den Steppen von Moab.	49 And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 In den Steppen von Moab, am Jordan bei Jericho, sprach der Herr zu Mose:	50 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
51 Rede zu den Israeliten und sag zu ihnen: Wenn ihr den Jordan überschritten und Kanaan betreten habt,	51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
52 dann vertreibt vor euch alle Einwohner des Landes und vernichtet alle ihre Götterbilder! Alle ihre aus Metall gegossenen Figuren sollt ihr vernichten und alle ihre Kulthöhen zerstören.	52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 Dann nehmt das Land in Besitz und lasst euch darin nieder; denn ich habe es euch zum Besitz gegeben.	53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
54 Verteilt das Land durch das Los an eure Sippen! Einem großen Stamm gebt großen Erbbesitz, einem kleinen Stamm gebt kleinen Erbbesitz! Worauf das Los eines jeden fällt, das soll ihm gehören. Teilt das Land so unter die Stämme eurer Väter auf!	54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
55 Wenn ihr die Einwohner des Landes vor euch nicht vertreibt, dann werden die, die von ihnen übrig bleiben, zu Splittern in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in eurer Seite. Sie werden euch in dem Land, in dem ihr wohnt, in eine große Gefahr bringen.	55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
56 Dann werde ich mit euch machen, was ich mit ihnen machen wollte.	56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
