| 1 ܘܶܐܢ ܢܶܣܰܒ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬܬܳܐ. ܘܢܶܕܡܰܟ ܥܰܡܳܗ̇. ܐܶܢ ܠܳܐ ܐܶܫܟܚܰܬ ܖ̈ܰܚܡܶܐ ܩܕܳܡܰܘܗܝ ܥܰܠ ܕܶܐܫܟܰܚ ܒܳܗ̇ ܨܒܽܘܬܳܐ ܕܰܡܦܰܪܣܝܳܐ. ܢܶܟܬܽܘܒ ܠܳܗ̇ ܟܬܳܒܳܐ ܕܫܽܘܒܩܳܢܳܐ. ܘܢܶܬܶܠ ܠܳܗ̇ ܘܢܶܫܪܶܝܗ̇. | 1 "When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a bill of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house, |
| 2 ܘܬܶܦܽܘܩ ܡܶܢ ܒܰܝܬܶܗ. ܘܶܐܢ ܬܺܐܙܰܠ ܘܬܶܗܘܶܐ ܠܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܐ̱ܚܪܺܢܳܐ. ܘܢܶܣܢܶܝܗ̇ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܐ̱ܚܪܺܢܳܐ. | 2 and if she goes and becomes another man's wife, |
| 3 ܘܢܶܟܬܽܘܒ ܠܳܗ̇ ܟܬܳܒܳܐ ܕܫܽܘܒܩܳܢܳܐ ܘܢܶܬܶܠ ܠܳܗ̇. ܘܢܶܫܪܶܝܗ̇ ܡܶܢ ܒܰܝܬܶܗ. ܐܰܘ ܐܶܢ ܢܡܽܘܬ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܐ̱ܚܪܺܢܳܐ ܕܢܰܣܒܳܗ̇. | 3 and the latter husband dislikes her and writes her a bill of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife, |
| 4 ܠܳܐ ܫܰܠܺܝܛ ܠܶܗ ܠܒܰܥܠܳܗ̇ ܩܰܕܡܳܝܳܐ ܕܫܰܒܩܳܗ̇. ܕܢܶܚܕܰܪ ܢܶܣܒܺܝܗ̇ ܒܳܬܰܪ ܕܶܐܬܛܰܡܐܰܬ. ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕܛܰܡܐܳܐ ܗ̱ܝ ܩܕܳܡ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ. ܘܠܳܐ ܬܰܚܛܶܐ ܠܰܐܪܥܳܐ ܕܝܳܗܶܒ ܠܳܟ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܟ. ܝܽܘܪܬܳܢܳܐ. | 4 then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD, and you shall not bring guilt upon the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance. |
| 5 ܘܟܰܕ ܢܶܣܰܒ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬܬܳܐ ܚܕܰܬܳܐ. ܠܳܐ ܢܶܦܽܘܩ ܒܚܰܝܠܳܐ. ܘܠܳܐ ܢܺܐܙܰܠ ܠܟܽܠ ܨܒܽܘ. ܐܶܠܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܒܒܰܝܬܶܗ ܫܰܢ̱ܬܳܐ ܚܕܳܐ. ܘܢܶܚܕܶܐ ܥܰܡ ܐܰܢ̱ܬܬܳܐ ܕܰܢܣܰܒ. | 5 "When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, to be happy with his wife whom he has taken. |
| 6 ܠܳܐ ܬܶܣܰܒ ܪܰܚܝܳܐ ܘܪܰܟܒܳܗ̇ ܡܶܫܟܳܢܳܐ. ܢܰܦܫܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܓܶܝܪ ܡܥܺܝܩ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ. | 6 "No man shall take a mill or an upper millstone in pledge; for he would be taking a life in pledge. |
| 7 ܘܶܐܢ ܢܶܫܬܟܰܚ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܒܢܰܝ̈ ܝܺܣܪܳܐܶܝܠ. ܕܢܶܓܢܽܘܒ ܢܰܦܫܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܚܰܘ̈ܗܝ ܒܢܰܝ̈ ܝܺܣܪܳܐܶܝܠ. ܘܢܶܬܬܰܓܰܪ ܒܳܗ̇ ܘܰܢܙܰܒܢܺܝܗ̇. ܡܶܬܩܛܳܠܽܘ ܢܶܬܩܛܶܠ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܗܰܘ. ܘܒܰܥܰܪܘ ܒܺܝܫܬܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܒܰܝܢܳܬܟܽܘܢ. | 7 "If a man is found stealing one of his brethren, the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die; so you shall purge the evil from the midst of you. |
| 8 ܛܰܪܘ ܡܚܽܘܬܳܐ ܕܓܰܪܒܳܐ. ܘܶܐܙܕܰܗܪܘ ܛܳܒ. ܘܰܥܒܶܕܘ ܐܰܝܟܰܢܳܐ ܕܡܰܠܦܺܝܢ ܠܟܽܘܢ ܟܳܗ̈ܢܶܐ ܘܠܶܘ̈ܳܝܶܐ. ܐܰܝܟ ܕܦܰܩܕܶܬ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܢܶܛܪܽܘܢ ܘܢܶܥܒܕܽܘܢ. | 8 "Take heed, in an attack of leprosy, to be very careful to do according to all that the Levitical priests shall direct you; as I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do. |
| 9 ܘܶܐܬܕܰܟܪ ܡܶܕܶܡ ܕܰܥܒܰܕ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܟ ܠܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܒܽܐܘܪܚܳܐ. ܟܰܕ ܢܦܰܩܬܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܡܶܨܪܶܝܢ. | 9 Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the way as you came forth out of Egypt. |
| 10 ܘܶܐܢ ܢܚܽܘܒ ܠܳܟ ܚܰܒܪܳܟ ܚܰܘܒܬܳܐ ܡܶܕܶܡ. ܠܳܐ ܬܶܥܽܘܠ ܠܒܰܝܬܶܗ ܠܡܶܣܰܒ ܡܶܫܟܳܢܶܗ. | 10 "When you make your neighbor a loan of any sort, you shall not go into his house to fetch his pledge. |
| 11 ܐܶܠܳܐ ܩܽܘܡ ܒܫܽܘܩܳܐ. ܘܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕܚܰܝܳܒ ܠܳܟ. ܗܽܘ ܢܰܦܩܺܝܘܗܝ ܠܳܟ ܡܶܫܟܳܢܳܐ ܠܫܽܘܩܳܐ. | 11 You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you make the loan shall bring the pledge out to you. |
| 12 ܘܶܐܢ ܓܰܒܪܳܐ ܗ̱ܘ ܡܶܣܟܺܢܳܐ. ܠܳܐ ܬܶܕܡܰܟ ܒܡܰܪܛܽܘܛܶܗ. | 12 And if he is a poor man, you shall not sleep in his pledge; |
| 13 ܐܶܠܳܐ ܦܰܢܳܝܗܝ ܠܶܗ ܡܶܫܟܳܢܶܗ ܡܳܐ ܕܥܶܪܒܰܬ ܫܶܡܫܳܐ. ܘܢܶܕܡܰܟ ܒܡܰܪܛܽܘܛܶܗ ܘܰܢܒܰܪܟܳܟ. ܘܬܶܗܘܶܐ ܠܳܟ ܙܰܕܺܝܩܽܘܬܳܐ ܩܕܳܡ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܟ. | 13 when the sun goes down, you shall restore to him the pledge that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you; and it shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God. |
| 14 ܠܳܐ ܬܶܛܠܽܘܡ ܐܰܓܪܳܐ ܕܡܶܣܟܺܢܳܐ ܘܰܕܒܳܝܫܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܚܰܝ̈ܟ. ܐܰܘ ܡܶܢ ܥܳܡܽܘܪܳܐ ܕܰܒܩܽܘܖ̈ܝܳܟ. | 14 "You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brethren or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns; |
| 15 ܐܶܠܳܐ ܒܰܪ ܝܰܘܡܶܗ ܗܰܒ ܠܶܗ ܐܰܓܪܶܗ. ܘܠܳܐ ܬܶܥܪܰܒ ܥܠܰܘܗܝ ܫܶܡܫܳܐ. ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕܡܶܣܟܺܢܳܐ ܗܽܘ. ܘܥܰܠ ܐܰܦܰܝ̈ ܐܰܓܪܶܗ ܗܽܘ ܡܰܫܠܶܡ ܠܳܟ ܢܰܦܫܶܗ. ܕܠܳܐ ܢܶܩܪܶܐ ܥܠܰܝܟ ܠܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܘܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܥܠܰܝܟ ܚܛܳܗܳܐ. | 15 you shall give him his hire on the day he earns it, before the sun goes down (for he is poor, and sets his heart upon it); lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin in you. |
| 16 ܠܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬܽܘܢ ܐܰܒܳܗ̈ܶܐ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܦܰܝ̈ ܒܢܰܝ̈ܗܽܘܢ. ܘܰܒܢܰܝ̈ܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬܽܘܢ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܦܰܝ̈ ܐܰܒܳܗܰܝ̈ܗܽܘܢ. ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐ̱ܢܳܫ ܒܰܚܛܳܗܰܘ̈ܗܝ ܢܡܽܘܬ. | 16 "The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor shall the children be put to death for the fathers; every man shall be put to death for his own sin. |
| 17 ܠܳܐ ܬܶܨܠܶܐ ܕܺܝܢܳܐ ܕܥܳܡܽܘܪܳܐ. ܘܰܕܝܰܬܡܳܐ. ܘܠܳܐ ܬܶܣܰܒ ܡܶܫܟܳܢܳܐ ܡܰܪܛܽܘܛܳܗ̇ ܕܰܐܪܡܰܠܬܳܐ. | 17 "You shall not pervert the justice due to the sojourner or to the fatherless, or take a widow's garment in pledge; |
| 18 ܘܶܐܬܕܰܟܪ ܕܥܰܒܕܳܐ ܗܘܰܝܬ ܒܡܶܨܪܶܝܢ. ܘܦܰܪܩܳܟ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܟ ܡܶܢ ܬܰܡܳܢ. ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܡܦܰܩܶܕ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ ܠܳܟ. ܘܳܐܡܰܪ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ ܠܳܟ. ܥܒܶܕ ܦܶܬܓܳܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ. | 18 but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you from there; therefore I command you to do this. |
| 19 ܘܡܳܐ ܕܚܳܨܶܕ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ ܚܨܳܕܳܐ ܕܚܰܩܠܳܟ ܘܛܳܥܶܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ ܟܰܦܳܐ. ܠܳܐ ܬܶܗܦܽܘܟ ܬܶܣܒܺܝܗ̇. ܐܶܠܳܐ ܬܶܗܘܶܐ ܠܥܳܡܽܘܪܳܐ. ܘܰܠܝܰܬܡܳܐ. ܘܠܰܐܪܡܰܠܬܳܐ. ܕܰܢܒܰܪܟܳܟ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܟ ܒܟܽܠܶܗ ܥܒܳܕܳܐ ܕܺܐܝܕܰܝ̈ܟ. | 19 "When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. |
| 20 ܘܡܳܐ ܕܚܳܒܶܛ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ ܙܰܝ̈ܬܰܝܟ. ܠܳܐ ܬܶܦܠܶܐ ܒܶܣܬܪܳܟ. ܐܶܠܳܐ ܠܥܳܡܽܘܪܳܐ ܘܰܠܝܰܬܡܳܐ ܘܠܰܐܪܡܰܠܬܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ. | 20 When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. |
| 21 ܘܡܳܐ ܕܩܳܛܶܦ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ ܟܰܪܡܳܟ. ܠܳܐ ܬܒܰܥܰܪ ܒܶܣܬܪܳܟ. ܐܶܠܳܐ ܠܥܳܡܽܘܪܳܐ ܘܰܠܝܰܬܡܳܐ ܘܠܰܐܪܡܰܠܬܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ. | 21 When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. |
| 22 ܘܶܐܬܕܰܟܪ ܕܥܰܒܕܳܐ ܗܘܰܝܬ ܒܡܶܨܪܶܝܢ. ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܡܦܰܩܶܕ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ ܠܳܟ ܕܬܶܥܒܶܕ ܦܶܬܓܳܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ. | 22 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I command you to do this. |
