SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 O Senhor disse a Moisés: "Eis uma ordem para os israelitas:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 quando entrardes na terra de Canaã, eis a terra que vos tocará como herança: a terra de Canaã, com estes limites:	2 'Give the Israelites this order. Say: "When you enter the country (Canaan), this will be the countrywhich forms your heritage. This is Canaan as defined by its boundaries:
3 para o lado do meio-dia, vossa fronteira começará no deserto de Sin ao longo de Edom. Essa fronteira meridional partirá, ao oriente, da extremidade do mar Salgado	3 "The southern part of your country wil start from the desert of Zin, on the borders of Edom. Yoursouthern boundary wil start on the east at the end of the Salt Sea.
4 e irá para o lado do meio-dia pela subida de Acrabim. Passará por Sin e chegará até o sul de Cades-Barne, de onde irá até Hatsar-Adar, estendendo-se para Asemon.	4 It wil then turn south towards the Ascent of the Scorpions and go by Zin to end in the south atKadesh-Barnea. It wil then run towards Hazar-Addar and pass through Azmon.
5 De Asemon dirigir-se-á para a torrente do Egito, e terminará no mar.	5 From Azmon the boundary wil turn towards the Torrent of Egypt and end at the Sea.
6 Vossa fronteira ocidental será o mar Grande, que fará o vosso limite ao ocidente.	6 "Your seaboard wil be on the Great Sea; this will be your western boundary.
7 Eis vossa fronteira setentrional: partindo do mar Grande, tereis por limite o monte Hor;	7 "Your northern boundary wil be as fol ows: you wil draw a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor,
8 desde o monte Hor marcá-la-eis até a entrada de Hamat, terminando em Sedada;	8 then from Mount Hor you wil draw a line to the Pass of Hamath, and the boundary will end at Zedad.
9 estender-se-á em seguida para Zefron até Hatsar-Enã. Este será o vosso limite setentrional.	9 From there it wil run on to Ziphron and end at Hazar-Enan. This wil be your northern boundary.
10 Para vossa fronteira oriental, marcareis uma linha de Hatsar-Enã a Sefão;	10 "You will then draw your eastern boundary from Hazar-Enan to Shepham.
11 descerá de Sefão a Rebla, ao oriente de Ain; depois, continuando, atingirá a praia oriental do mar de Ceneret,	11 The boundary wil run down from Shepham towards Riblah on the east side of Ain. Further down itwil keep to the eastern shore of the Sea of Chinnereth.
12 e enfim, descerá ao longo do Jordão, terminando no mar Salgado. Tal será a vossa terra em todo o perímetro de vossas fronteiras."	12 The frontier wil then fol ow the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. "Such wil be your country with theboundaries surrounding it." '
13 Moisés ordenou aos israelitas o seguinte: "Esta será a terra que possuireis por sorte, e que o Senhor mandou que se desse às nove tribos e à meia tribo,	13 Moses then gave the Israelites this order: 'This is the country, where your heritages wil be assignedby lot, and which Yahweh has ordered to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe,
14 porque a tribo dos rubenitas, por suas famílias, assim como a tribo dos gaditas, por suas famílias, e a meia tribo de Manassés receberam já a sua porção.	14 for the tribe of the Reubenites with their families and the tribe of the Gadites with their families havealready received their heritage; the half-tribe of Manasseh has also received its heritage.
15 Estas duas tribos e a meia tribo têm a sua herança além do Jordão, defronte de Jericó, para o levante."	15 These two tribes and the half-tribe have received their heritage on the other side of the Jordan byJericho, to the east, towards the sunrise.'
16 O Senhor disse a Moisés:	16 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
17 "Eis os nomes dos homens que dividirão a terra entre vós: o sacerdote Eleazar, e Josué, filho de Nun.	17 'Here are the names of the men who wil divide the country up for you: the priest Eleazar andJoshua son of Nun,
18 Tomareis, além disso, um príncipe de cada tribo para proceder à divisão."	18 and you wil take one leader from each tribe to divide the country up into heritages.
19 Eis os nomes desses príncipes: da tribo de Judá, Caleb, filho de Jefoné;	19 Here are the names of these men: 'For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
20 da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Samuel, filho de Amiud;	20 'for the tribe of the Simeonites, Shemuel son of Ammihud;
21 da tribo de Benjamim, Elidad, filho de Caselon;	21 'for the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
22 da tribo dos filhos de Dã, um príncipe, Boci, filho de Jogli;	22 'for the tribe of the Danites, the leader Bukki son of Jogli;
23 dos filhos de José, da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, um príncipe, Haniel, filho de Efod,	23 'for the sons of Joseph: for the tribe of Manasseh, the leader Hanniel son of Ephod;
24 e da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, um príncipe, Camuel, filho de Seftã;	24 'for the tribe of the Ephraimites, the leader Kemuel son of Shiphtan;
25 da tribo dos filhos de Zabulon, um príncipe, Elisafã, filho de Farnac;	25 'for the tribe of the Zebulunites, the leader Elizaphan son of Parnach;
26 da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, um príncipe, Faltiel, filho de Ozã;	26 'for the tribe of the Issacharites, the leader Paltiel son of Azzan;
27 da tribo dos filhos de Aser, um príncipe, Aiud, filho de Salomi;	27 'for the tribe of the Asherites, the leader Ahihud son of Shelomi;
28 da tribo dos filhos de Neftali, um príncipe, Fedael, filho de Amiud.	28 'for the tribe of the Naphtalites, the leader Pedahel son of Ammihud.'
29 Tais são os que o Senhor designou para repartir entre os israelitas a terra de Canaã.	29 These were the men whom Yahweh ordered to divide Canaan into heritages for the Israelites.
