1 Vi raccomando Febe, nostra sorella, diaconessa della Chiesa di Cencre:	1 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deaconess of the church at Cenchreae;
2 ricevetela nel Signore, come si conviene ai credenti, e assistetela in qualunque cosa abbia bisogno; anch'essa infatti ha protetto molti, e anche me stesso.	2 give her, in the Lord, a welcome worthy of God's holy people, and help her with whatever she needs from you -- she herself has come to the help of many people, including myself.
3 Salutate Prisca e Aquila, miei collaboratori in Cristo Gesù; per salvarmi la vita essi hanno rischiato la loro testa,	3 My greetings to Prisca and Aquila, my fellow-workers in Christ Jesus,
4 e ad essi non io soltanto sono grato, ma tutte le Chiese dei Gentili;	4 who risked their own necks to save my life; to them, thanks not only from me, but from al thechurches among the gentiles;

17 Mi raccomando poi, fratelli, di ben guardarvi da coloro che provocano divisioni e ostacoli contro la dottrina che avete appreso: tenetevi lontani da loro.	17 I urge you, brothers, be on your guard against the people who are out to stir up disagreements andbring up difficulties against the teaching which you learnt. Avoid them.
18 Costoro, infatti, non servono Cristo nostro Signore, ma il proprio ventre e con un parlare solenne e lusinghiero ingannano il cuore dei semplici.	18 People of that sort are servants not of our Lord Christ, but of their own greed; and with talk thatsounds smooth and reasonable they deceive the minds of the unwary.
19 La fama della vostra obbedienza è giunta dovunque; mentre quindi mi rallegro di voi, voglio che siate saggi nel bene e immuni dal male.	19 Your obedience has become known to everyone, and I am very pleased with you for it; but I shouldwant you to be learned only in what is good, and unsophisticated about al that is evil.
20 Il Dio della pace stritolerà ben presto satana sotto i vostri piedi. La grazia del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo sia con voi.	20 The God of peace wil soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be withyou.
21 Vi saluta Timòteo mio collaboratore, e con lui Lucio, Giàsone, Sosìpatro, miei parenti.	21 Timothy, who is working with me, sends greetings to you, and so do my kinsmen Lucius, Jason andSosipater.

25 A colui che ha il potere di confermarvi secondo il vangelo che io annunzio e il messaggio di Gesù Cristo, secondo la rivelazione del mistero taciuto per secoli eterni,	25 And now to him who can make you strong in accordance with the gospel that I preach and theproclamation of Jesus Christ, in accordance with that mystery which for endless ages was kept secret
26 ma rivelato ora e annunziato mediante le scritture profetiche, per ordine dell'eterno Dio, a tutte le genti perché obbediscano alla fede,	26 but now (as the prophets wrote) is revealed, as the eternal God commanded, to be made known toal the nations, so that they obey in faith:
27 a Dio che solo è sapiente, per mezzo di Gesù Cristo, la gloria nei secoli dei secoli. Amen.	27 to him, the only wise God, give glory through Jesus Christ for ever and ever. Amen.
