1 Habló Yahveh a Moisés y le dijo:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando entréis en la tierra que yo os daré por morada,	2 "Give the Israelites these instructions: When you have entered the land that I will give you for your homesteads,
3 y ofrezcáis manjares abrasados a Yahveh en holocausto o sacrificio, para cumplir un voto, o como ofrenda voluntaria o con ocasión de vuestras fiestas, ofreciendo así, de vuestros bueyes u ovejas, calmante aroma para Yahveh,	3 if you make to the LORD a sweet-smelling oblation from the herd or from the flock, in holocaust, in fulfillment of a vow, or as a freewill offering, or for one of your festivals,
4 el oferente presentará, para su ofrenda a Yahveh, una oblación de una décima de flor de harina amasada con un cuarto de sextario de aceite.	4 whoever does so shall also present to the LORD a cereal offering consisting of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil,
5 Harás una libación de un cuarto de sextario de vino por cada cordero, además del holocausto o sacrificio.	5 as well as a libation of a fourth of a hin of wine, with each lamb sacrificed in holocaust or otherwise.
6 Si es un carnero, la oblación será de dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con un tercio de sextario de aceite,	6 With each sacrifice of a ram you shall present a cereal offering of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil,
7 y la libación, de un tercio de sextario de vino, que ofrecerás como calmante aroma para Yahveh.	7 and a libation of a third of a hin of wine, thus making a sweet-smelling offering to the LORD.
8 Y si ofreces a Yahveh un novillo en holocausto o sacrificio, para cumplir un voto, o como sacrificio de comunión,	8 When you sacrifice an ox as a holocaust, or in fulfillment of a vow, or as a peace offering to the LORD,
9 se ofrecerá además del novillo una oblación de tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con medio sextario de aceite,	9 with it you shall present a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil,
10 y una libación de medio sextario de vino, como manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh.	10 and a libation of half a hin of wine, as a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
11 Así se hará con nada novillo y con las reses menores, cordero o cabrito.	11 The same is to be done for each ox, ram, lamb or goat.
12 Haréis así con cada uno de los que inmoléis, con tantos como hubiere.	12 Whatever the number you offer, do the same for each of them.
13 Así hará todo hombre de vuestro pueblo, cuando ofrezca un manjar abrasado como calmante aroma para Yahveh.	13 "All the native-born shall make these offerings in the same way, whenever they present a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
14 Si reside entre vosotros o entre vuestros descendientes un forastero, y ofrece un manjar abrasado como calmante aroma para Yahveh, lo mismo que vosotros hará	14 Likewise, in any future generation, any alien residing with you permanently or for a time, who presents a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, shall do as you do.
15 la asamblea. No habrá más que una norma para vosotros y para el forastero residente. Es decreto perpetuo para vuestros descendientes: igual será delante de Yahveh para vosotros que para el forastero.	15 There is but one rule for you and for the resident alien, a perpetual rule for all your descendants. Before the LORD you and the alien are alike,
16 Una sola ley y una sola norma regirá para vosotros y para el forastero que reside entre vosotros.»	16 with the same law and the same application of it for the alien residing among you as for yourselves."
17 Yahveh habló así a Moisés:	17 The LORD said to Moses,
18 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando entréis en la tierra a la que os voy a llevar,	18 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land into which I will bring you
19 y comáis el pan del país, reservaréis primero la ofrenda para Yahveh.	19 and begin to eat of the food of that land, you shall offer the LORD a contribution
20 Como primicias de vuestra molienda reservaréis como ofrenda una torta; la reservaréis igual que se hace en la era.	20 consisting of a cake of your first batch of dough. You shall offer it just as you offer a contribution from the threshing floor.
21 Reservaréis a Yahveh una ofrenda de las primicias de vuestra molienda, por todas vuestras generaciones.	21 Throughout your generations you shall give a contribution to the LORD from your first batch of dough.
22 «Cuando por inadvertencia no cumpláis alguno de estos preceptos que Yahveh ha comunicado a Moisés,	22 "When through inadvertence you fail to carry out any of these commandments which the LORD gives to Moses,
23 algo de lo que os ha mandado Yahveh por medio de Moisés, desde que Yahveh lo ordenó en adelante, por todas vuestras generaciones,	23 and through Moses to you, from the time the LORD first issues the commandment down through your generations:
24 en el caso de que la inadvertencia se haya cometido por descuido de la comunidad, toda la comunidad ofrecerá un novillo en holocausto, como calmante aroma para Yahveh, con su correspondiente oblación y libación según costumbre, y un macho cabrío en sacrificio por el pecado.	24 if the community itself unwittingly becomes guilty of the fault of inadvertence, the whole community shall offer the holocaust of one young bull as a sweet-smelling oblation pleasing to the LORD, along with its prescribed cereal offering and libation, as well as one he-goat as a sin offering.
25 El sacerdote expiará por toda la comunidad de los israelitas, y se les perdonará, porque ha sido un descuido. Cuando presenten sus ofrendas, como manjar abrasado a Yahveh, y su sacrificio por el pecado delante de Yahveh por su descuido,	25 Then the priest shall make atonement for the whole Israelite community; thus they will be forgiven the inadvertence for which they have brought their holocaust as an oblation to the LORD.
26 se le perdonará a la comunidad de los israelitas y al forastero que reside entre ellos, pues el pueblo entero lo ha hecho por inadvertencia.	26 Not only the whole Israelite community, but also the aliens residing among you, shall be forgiven, since the fault of inadvertence affects all the people.
27 En el caso de que una sola persona haya pecado por inadvertencia, ofrecerá en sacrificio por el pecado una cabrita de un año.	27 "However, if it is an individual who sins inadvertently, he shall bring a yearling she-goat as a sin offering,
28 El sacerdote expiará delante de Yahveh por la persona que se ha descuidado con ese pecado de inadvertencia; cuando se haga expiación por ella, se le perdonará,	28 and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who sinned inadvertently; when atonement has been made for him, he will be forgiven.
29 lo mismo al ciudadano israelita que al forastero residente entre vosotros: no tendréis más que una sola ley para el que obra por inadvertencia.	29 You shall have but one law for him who sins inadvertently, whether he be a native Israelite or an alien residing with you.
30 Pero el que obra con descaro, sea ciudadano o forastero, ultraja a Yahveh. Tal individuo será extirpado de su pueblo,	30 "But anyone who sins defiantly, whether he be a native or an alien, insults the LORD, and shall be cut off from among his people.
31 por haber despreciado la palabra de Yahveh, quebrantado su mandato. Será exterminado tal individuo: su pecado pesa sobre él.»	31 Since he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment, he must be cut off. He has only himself to blame."
32 Cuando los israelitas estaban en el desierto, se encontró a un hombre que andaba buscando leña en día de sábado.	32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the sabbath day.
33 Los que lo encontraron buscando leña, lo presentaron a Moisés, a Aarón y a toda la comunidad.	33 Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly.
34 Le pusieron bajo custodia, porque no estaba determinado lo que había que hacer con él.	34 But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him.
35 Yahveh dijo a Moisés: «Que muera ese hombre. Que lo apedree toda la comunidad fuera del campamento.»	35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp."
36 Lo sacó toda la comunidad fuera del campamento y lo apedrearon hasta que murió, según había mandado Yahveh a Moisés.	36 So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
37 Yahveh dijo a Moisés:	37 The LORD said to Moses,
38 «Habla a los israelitas y diles que ellos y sus descendientes se hagan flecos en los bordes de sus vestidos, y pongan en el fleco de sus vestidos un hilo de púrpura violeta.	38 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them that they and their descendants must put tassels on the corners of their garments, fastening each corner tassel with a violet cord.
39 Tendréis, pues flecos para que, cuando los veáis, os acordéis de todos los preceptos de Yahveh. Así los cumpliréis y no seguiréis los caprichos de vuestros corazones y de vuestros ojos, que os han arrastrado a prostituiros.	39 When you use these tassels, let the sight of them remind you to keep all the commandments of the LORD, without going wantonly astray after the desires of your hearts and eyes.
40 Así os acordaréis de todos mis mandamientos y los cumpliréis, y seréis hombres consagrados a vuestro Dios.	40 Thus you will remember to keep all my commandments and be holy to your God.
41 Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de Egipto para ser Dios vuestro. Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios.	41 I, the LORD, am your God who, as God, brought you out of Egypt that I, the LORD, may be your God."
