Galatians 5

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Christ set us free, so that we should remain free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be fastenedagain to the yoke of slavery.	1 فاثبتوا اذا في الحرية التي قد حررنا المسيح بها ولا ترتبكوا ايضا بنير عبودية.
2 I, Paul, give you my word that if you accept circumcision, Christ wil be of no benefit to you at al .	2 ها انا بولس اقول لكم انه ان اختتنتم لا ينفعكم المسيح شيئا.
3 I give my assurance once again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is under obligation tokeep the whole Law;	3 لكن اشهد ايضا لكل انسان مختتن انه ملتزم ان يعمل بكل الناموس.
4 once you seek to be reckoned as upright through the Law, then you have separated yourself fromChrist, you have fal en away from grace.	4 قد تبطلتم عن المسيح ايها الذين تتبررون بالناموس. سقطتم من النعمة
5 We are led by the Spirit to wait in the confident hope of saving justice through faith,	5 فاننا بالروح من الايمان نتوقع رجاء بر.
6 since in Christ Jesus it is not being circumcised or being uncircumcised that can effect anything -- onlyfaith working through love.	6 لانه في المسيح يسوع لا الختان ينفع شيئا ولا الغرلة بل الايمان العامل بالمحبة.
7 You began your race wel ; who came to obstruct you and stop you obeying the truth?	7 كنتم تسعون حسنا. فمن صدكم حتى لا تطاوعوا للحق.
8 It was certainly not any prompting from him who called you!	8 هذه المطاوعة ليست من الذي دعاكم.
9 A pinch of yeast ferments the whole batch.	9 خميرة صغيرة تخمّر العجين كله.
10 But I feel sure that, united in the Lord, you wil not be led astray, and that anyone who makes troublewith you will be condemned, no matter who he is.	10 ولكنني اثق بكم في الرب انكم لا تفتكرون شيئا آخر. ولكن الذي يزعجكم سيحمل الدينونة ايّ من كان.
11 And I, brothers -- if I were stil preaching circumcision, why should I still be persecuted? For then theobstacle which is the cross would have no point any more.	11 واما انا ايها الاخوة فان كنت بعد اكرز بالختان فلماذا أضطهد بعد. اذا عثرة الصليب قد بطلت.
12 I could wish that those who are unsettling you would go further and mutilate themselves.	12 يا ليت الذين يقلقونكم يقطعون ايضا
13 After al , brothers, you were called to be free; do not use your freedom as an opening for self-indulgence, but be servants to one another in love,	13 فانكم انما دعيتم للحرية ايها الاخوة. غير انه لا تصيّروا الحرية فرصة للجسد بل بالمحبة اخدموا بعضكم بعضا.
14 since the whole of the Law is summarised in the one commandment: You must love your neighbour asyourself.	14 لان كل الناموس في كلمة واحده يكمل. تحب قريبك كنفسك.
15 If you go snapping at one another and tearing one another to pieces, take care: you will be eaten up byone another.	15 فاذا كنتم تنهشون وتأكلون بعضكم بعضا فانظروا لئلا تفنوا بعضكم بعضا
16 Instead, I tel you, be guided by the Spirit, and you wil no longer yield to self-indulgence.	16 وانما اقول اسلكوا بالروح فلا تكملوا شهوة الجسد.
17 The desires of self-indulgence are always in opposition to the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are inopposition to self-indulgence: they are opposites, one against the other; that is how you are prevented fromdoing the things that you want to.	17 لان الجسد يشتهي ضد الروح والروح ضد الجسد. وهذان يقاوم احدهما الآخر حتى تفعلون ما لا تريدون.
18 But when you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.	18 ولكن اذا انقدتم بالروح فلستم تحت الناموس.
19 When self-indulgence is at work the results are obvious: sexual vice, impurity, and sensuality,	19 واعمال الجسد ظاهرة التي هي زنى عهارة نجاسة دعارة
20 the worship of false gods and sorcery; antagonisms and rivalry, jealousy, bad temper and quarrels,disagreements,	20 عبادة الاوثان سحر عداوة خصام غيرة سخط تحزب شقاق بدعة
21 factions and malice, drunkenness, orgies and al such things. And about these, I tel you now as I havetold you in the past, that people who behave in these ways wil not inherit the kingdom of God.	21 حسد قتل سكر بطر وامثال هذه التي اسبق فاقول لكم عنها كما سبقت فقلت ايضا ان الذين يفعلون مثل هذه لا يرثون ملكوت الله.
22 On the other hand the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness,	22 واما ثمر الروح فهو محبة فرح سلام طول اناة لطف صلاح ايمان
23 gentleness and self-control; no law can touch such things as these.	23 وداعة تعفف. ضد امثال هذه ليس ناموس.
24 All who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified self with al its passions and its desires.	24 ولكن الذين هم للمسيح قد صلبوا الجسد مع الاهواء والشهوات.
25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let our behaviour be guided by the Spirit	25 ان كنا نعيش بالروح فلنسلك ايضا بحسب الروح.
26 and let us not be conceited or provocative and envious of one another.	26 لا نكن معجبين نغاضب بعضنا بعضا ونحسد بعضنا بعضا
