1 Corinthians 11

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Take me as your pattern, just as I take Christ for mine.	1 كونوا متمثلين بي كما انا ايضا بالمسيح
2 I congratulate you for remembering me so consistently and for maintaining the traditions exactly as Ipassed them on to you.	2 فامدحكم ايها الاخوة على انكم تذكرونني في كل شيء وتحفظون التعاليم كما سلمتها اليكم.
3 But I should like you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man,and the head of Christ is God.	3 ولكن اريد ان تعلموا ان راس كل رجل هو المسيح. واما راس المرأة فهو الرجل. وراس المسيح هو الله.
4 For any man to pray or to prophesy with his head covered shows disrespect for his head.	4 كل رجل يصلّي او يتنبأ وله على راسه شيء يشين راسه.
5 And for a woman to pray or prophesy with her head uncovered shows disrespect for her head; it isexactly the same as if she had her hair shaved off.	5 واما كل امرأة تصلّي او تتنبأ وراسها غير مغطى فتشين راسها لانها والمحلوقة شيء واحد بعينه.
6 Indeed, if a woman does go without a veil, she should have her hair cut off too; but if it is a shamefulthing for a woman to have her hair cut off or shaved off, then she should wear a veil.	6 اذ المرأة ان كانت لا تتغطى فليقص شعرها. وان كان قبيحا بالمرأة ان تقص او تحلق فلتتغط.
7 But for a man it is not right to have his head covered, since he is the image of God and reflects God'sglory; but woman is the reflection of man's glory.	7 فان الرجل لا ينبغي ان يغطي راسه لكونه صورة الله ومجده. واما المرأة فهي مجد الرجل.
8 For man did not come from woman; no, woman came from man;	8 لان الرجل ليس من المرأة بل المرأة من الرجل.
9 nor was man created for the sake of woman, but woman for the sake of man:	9 ولان الرجل لم يخلق من اجل المرأة بل المرأة من اجل الرجل.
10 and this is why it is right for a woman to wear on her head a sign of the authority over her, becauseof the angels.	10 لهذا ينبغي للمرأة ان يكون لها سلطان على راسها من اجل الملائكة.
11 However, in the Lord, though woman is nothing without man, man is nothing without woman;	11 غير ان الرجل ليس من دون المراة ولا المرأة من دون الرجل في الرب.
12 and though woman came from man, so does every man come from a woman, and everything comesfrom God.	12 لانه كما ان المرأة هي من الرجل هكذا الرجل ايضا هو بالمرأة. ولكن جميع الاشياء هي من الله.
13 Decide for yourselves: does it seem fitting that a woman should pray to God without a veil?	13 احكموا في انفسكم. هل يليق بالمرأة ان تصلّي الى الله وهي غير مغطاة.
14 Does not nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,	14 ام ليست الطبيعة نفسها تعلّمكم ان الرجل ان كان يرخي شعره فهو عيب له.
15 but when a woman has long hair, it is her glory? After all, her hair was given to her to be a covering.	15 واما المرأة ان كانت ترخي شعرها فهو مجد لها لان الشعر قد أعطي لها عوض برقع.
16 If anyone wants to be contentious, I say that we have no such custom, nor do any of the churches ofGod.	16 ولكن ان كان احد يظهر انه يحب الخصام فليس لنا نحن عادة مثل هذه ولا لكنائس الله
17 Now that I am on the subject of instructions, I cannot congratulate you on the meetings you hold;they do more harm than good.	17 ولكنني اذ اوصي بهذا لست امدح كونكم تجتمعون ليس للافضل بل للاردأ.
18 In the first place, I hear that when you al come together in your assembly, there are separatefactions among you, and to some extent I believe it.	18 لاني اولا حين تجتمعون في الكنيسة اسمع ان بينكم انشقاقات واصدق بعض التصديق.
19 It is no bad thing, either, that there should be differing groups among you so that those who are to betrusted among you can be clearly recognised.	19 لانه لا بد ان يكون بينكم بدع ايضا ليكون المزكون ظاهرين بينكم.
20 So, when you meet together, it is not the Lord's Supper that you eat;	20 فحين تجتمعون معا ليس هو لاكل عشاء الرب.
21 for when the eating begins, each one of you has his own supper first, and there is one going hungrywhile another is getting drunk.	21 لان كل واحد يسبق فيأخذ عشاء نفسه في الاكل فالواحد يجوع والآخر يسكر.
22 Surely you have homes for doing your eating and drinking in? Or have you such disregard for God'sassembly that you can put to shame those who have nothing? What am I to say to you? Congratulate you? Onthis I cannot congratulate you.	22 أفليس لكم بيوت لتأكلوا فيها وتشربوا. ام تستهينون بكنيسة الله وتخجلون الذين ليس لهم. ماذا اقول لكم. أامدحكم. على هذا لست امدحكم.
23 For the tradition I received from the Lord and also handed on to you is that on the night he wasbetrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread,	23 لانني تسلمت من الرب ما سلمتكم ايضا ان الرب يسوع في الليلة التي أسلم فيها اخذ خبزا
24 and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this inremembrance of me.'	24 وشكر فكسر وقال خذوا كلوا هذا هو جسدي المكسور لاجلكم. اصنعوا هذا لذكري.
25 And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood.Whenever you drink it, do this as a memorial of me.'	25 كذلك الكاس ايضا بعد ما تعشوا قائلا هذه الكاس هي العهد الجديد بدمي. اصنعوا هذا كلما شربتم لذكري.
26 Whenever you eat this bread, then, and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until hecomes.	26 فانكم كلما اكلتم هذا الخبز وشربتم هذه الكاس تخبرون بموت الرب الى ان يجيء.
27 Therefore anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily is answerable for thebody and blood of the Lord.	27 اذا اي من اكل هذا الخبز او شرب كاس الرب بدون استحقاق يكون مجرما في جسد الرب ودمه.
28 Everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the bread or drink from the cup;	28 ولكن ليمتحن الانسان نفسه وهكذا يأكل من الخبز ويشرب من الكاس.
29 because a person who eats and drinks without recognising the body is eating and drinking his owncondemnation.	29 لان الذي يأكل ويشرب بدون استحقاق يأكل ويشرب دينونة لنفسه غير مميّز جسد الرب.
30 That is why many of you are weak and il and a good number have died.	30 من اجل هذا فيكم كثيرون ضعفاء ومرضى وكثيرون يرقدون.
31 If we were critical of ourselves we would not be condemned,	31 لاننا لو كنا حكمنا على انفسنا لما حكم علينا.
32 but when we are judged by the Lord, we are corrected by the Lord to save us from being condemnedalong with the world.	32 ولكن اذ قد حكم علينا نؤدب من الرب لكي لا ندان مع العالم.
33 So then, my brothers, when you meet for the Meal, wait for each other;	33 اذا يا اخوتي حين تجتمعون للاكل انتظروا بعضكم بعضا.
34 anyone who is hungry should eat at home. Then your meeting wil not bring your condemnation. Theother matters I shal arrange when I come.	34 ان كان احد يجوع فليأكل في البيت كي لا تجتمعوا للدينونة. واما الامور الباقية فعند ما اجيء ارتبها
