Romans 8

1 Thus, condemnation wil never come to those who are in Christ Jesus,	1 - Nessuna condanna v'è dunque ora per quelli che sono in Cristo Gesù; i quali non camminano secondo la carne.
2 because the law of the Spirit which gives life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin anddeath.	2 Poichè la legge dello spirito di vita in Cristo Gesù mi liberò dalla legge del peccato e della morte.
3 What the Law could not do because of the weakness of human nature, God did, sending his own Sonin the same human nature as any sinner to be a sacrifice for sin, and condemning sin in that human nature.	3 Poichè quel che era impossibile alla legge in quanto era indebolita per via della carne, Dio, mandando suo Figlio in carne simile a quella del peccato, condannò il peccato nella carne,
4 This was so that the Law's requirements might be fully satisfied in us as we direct our lives not by ournatural inclinations but by the Spirit.	4 affinchè la giusta sentenza della legge si adempisse in noi, che non secondo la carne camminiamo ma secondo lo spirito.
5 Those who are living by their natural inclinations have their minds on the things human nature desires;those who live in the Spirit have their minds on spiritual things.	5 Poichè quei che sono secondo la carne hanno in cuore le cose della carne, e quei che sono secondo lo spirito quelle dello spirito.
6 And human nature has nothing to look forward to but death, while the Spirit looks forward to life andpeace,	6 E il pensiero della carne è morte, quello dello spirito vita e pace.
7 because the outlook of disordered human nature is opposed to God, since it does not submit to God'sLaw, and indeed it cannot,	7 La saggezza della carne è nemica a Dio, perchè non sta soggetta alla legge divina, non potendolo,
8 and those who live by their natural inclinations can never be pleasing to God.	8 e quei che son nella carne non possono piacere a Dio.
9 You, however, live not by your natural inclinations, but by the Spirit, since the Spirit of God has made ahome in you. Indeed, anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.	9 Ma voi non siete nella carne, sì nello spirito, se lo spirito di Dio abita in voi. E se uno non ha lo Spirito di Cristo, non è de' suoi.
10 But when Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin but the spirit is alive because you havebeen justified;	10 Se invece Cristo è in voi, il corpo è si morto per il peccato, ma lo spirito è vita per via della giustificazione.
11 and if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead has made his home in you, then he whoraised Christ Jesus from the dead wil give life to your own mortal bodies through his Spirit living in you.	11 E se abita in voi lo Spirito di chi ha risuscitato Gesù dai morti colui che risuscitò Gesù Cristo dai morti, farà rivivere anche i corpi vostri mortali per mezzo dello Spirito suo che risiede in voi.
12 So then, my brothers, we have no obligation to human nature to be dominated by it.	12 Adunque, o fratelli, noi siam debitori non alla carne per vivere secondo la carne,
13 If you do live in that way, you are doomed to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the habitsoriginating in the body, you will have life.	13 perchè se vivrete secondo la carne, morirete; ma se con lo spirito darete morte alle azioni della carne vivrete,
14 Al who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God;	14 giacchè quanti son guidati dallo Spirito di Dio, questi son figli di Dio.
15 for what you received was not the spirit of slavery to bring you back into fear; you received the Spiritof adoption, enabling us to cry out, 'Abba, Father!'	15 Non avete mica ricevuto spirito di servitù da ricader nel timore, ma spirito di adozione a figliuoli, in cui gridiamo : «Abba, Padre!».
16 The Spirit himself joins with our spirit to bear witness that we are children of God.	16 Lo Spirito stesso attesta allo spirito nostro che siamo figli di Dio.
17 And if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, provided that weshare his suffering, so as to share his glory.	17 E se figli, anche eredi; eredi di Dio, coeredi di Cristo, se pur soffriamo con lui affine di essere anche con lui glorificati.
18 In my estimation, al that we suffer in the present time is nothing in comparison with the glory which isdestined to be disclosed for us,	18 Poichè io ritengo che le sofferenze del tempo presente non han nulla a che fare colla gloria che dev'essere manifestata in noi,
19 for the whole creation is waiting with eagerness for the children of God to be revealed.	19 giacchè l'ansiosa aspettativa del mondo creato attende la manifestazione dei figli di Dio;
20 It was not for its own purposes that creation had frustration imposed on it, but for the purposes of himwho imposed it-	20 poichè alla vanità è soggetta la creatura non di volontà propria, ma per causa di chi l'ha assoggettata; colla speranza però
21 with the intention that the whole creation itself might be freed from its slavery to corruption andbrought into the same glorious freedom as the children of God.	21 che gli stessi esseri creati saranno liberi dalla schiavitù della corruzione, verso la libertà della gloria de' figli di Dio.
22 We are wel aware that the whole creation, until this time, has been groaning in labour pains.	22 Sappiamo bene come la creazione fino ad ora geme tutta quanta e soffre quasi le doglie del parto;
23 And not only that: we too, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we are groaning insideourselves, waiting with eagerness for our bodies to be set free.	23 nè solo essa, ma noi stessi che abbiamo in noi le primizie dello Spirito, gemiamo, aspettando l'adozione, cioè la redenzione del nostro corpo.
24 In hope, we already have salvation; in hope, not visibly present, or we should not be hoping -- nobodygoes on hoping for something which is already visible.	24 Nella speranza siamo stati salvati, ma quando quel che si spera, si vede, codesto non è più speranza; perchè chi già vede una cosa, che spera più?
25 But having this hope for what we cannot yet see, we are able to wait for it with perseveringconfidence.	25 Ma se speriamo quel che non vediamo, allora aspettiamo con pazienza.
26 And as wel as this, the Spirit too comes to help us in our weakness, for, when we do not know how topray properly, then the Spirit personal y makes our petitions for us in groans that cannot be put into words;	26 Parimenti anche lo Spirito ci aiuta a sostenere la nostra debolezza, giacchè noi non sappiamo che cosa dobbiam dire nelle preghiere per pregar come si deve, ma lo stesso Spirito intercede per noi con ineffabili sospiri,
27 and he who can see into al hearts knows what the Spirit means because the prayers that the Spiritmakes for God's holy people are always in accordance with the mind of God.	27 e colui che scruta i cuori sa bene qual sia l'aspirazione dello spirito, perchè intercede per i santi secondo Iddio.
28 We are wel aware that God works with those who love him, those who have been cal ed inaccordance with his purpose, and turns everything to their good.	28 Sappiamo poi che tutto coopera a bene per chi ama Dio, cioè per quelli che secondo il suo piano sono chiamati.
29 He decided beforehand who were the ones destined to be moulded to the pattern of his Son, so thathe should be the eldest of many brothers;	29 Perchè quelli che egli ha preconosciuti li ha anche predestinati a essere conformi all'immagine di Suo Figlio, sì da esser lui primogenito fra molti fratelli;
30 it was those so destined that he cal ed; those that he cal ed, he justified, and those that he hasjustified he has brought into glory.	30 e quelli che ha predestinati, questi ha anche chiamati; e quelli che ha chiamati, li ha anche giustificati; e quelli che ha giustificati li ha anche glorificati.
31 After saying this, what can we add? If God is for us, who can be against us?	31 Che diremo dunque a tutto ciò? Se Dio è per noi, chi sarà contro di noi?
32 Since he did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for the sake of all of us, then can we not expectthat with him he wil freely give us al his gifts?	32 Colui che non risparmiò il proprio Figliuolo, ma per tutti noi lo diede, come non ci donò anche ogni cosa con lui?
33 Who can bring any accusation against those that God has chosen? When God grants saving justice	33 Chi porterà accuse contro gli eletti di Dio? Se Dio li giustifica,
34 who can condemn? Are we not sure that it is Christ Jesus, who died -- yes and more, who was raised from the dead and is at God's right hand -- and who is adding his plea for us?	34 chi li condannerà? Cristo Gesù è colui che è morto, anzi risuscitato; il quale sta alla destra di Dio e intercede per noi.
35 Can anything cut us off from the love of Christ -- can hardships or distress, or persecution, or lack offood and clothing, or threats or violence;	35 Chi ci separerà dall'amore di Cristo? la tribolazione o l'angoscia o la fame o la nudità, o il pericolo, o la persecuzione, o la spada?
36 as scripture says: For your sake we are being massacred al day long, treated as sheep to beslaughtered?	36 (Secondochè sta scritto: «Per cagion tua siam tratti a morte durante tutto il giorno, siamo stati calcolati come pecore da macello»):
37 No; we come through al these things triumphantly victorious, by the power of him who loved us.	37 ma in tutte queste cose siamo più che vincitori per opera di colui che ci ha amato.
38 For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already inexistence and nothing stil to come, nor any power,	38 Poichè io son persuaso che nè morte nè vita, nè angeli nè principati, nè virtù, nè cose attuali nè future, nè potestà,
39 nor the heights nor the depths, nor any created thing whatever, wil be able to come between us andthe love of God, known to us in Christ Jesus our Lord.	39 nè altezza nè profondità, nè alcun'altra creatura potrà separarci dall'amore di Dio in Cristo Gesù Signor Nostro.
