Luke 21

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Looking up, he saw rich people putting their offerings into the treasury;	1 Aztán föltekintett, és látta, hogy a gazdagok hogyan dobják adományaikat a templom kincstárába.
2 and he noticed a poverty-stricken widow putting in two smal coins,	2 Látott egy szegény özvegyasszonyt is, aki két fillért dobott be.

5 When some were talking about the Temple, remarking how it was adorned with fine stonework andvotive offerings, he said,	5 Amikor néhányan megjegyezték a templomról, hogy milyen szép kövekkel és fogadalmi ajándékokkal van díszítve, ő így szólt:
6 'Al these things you are staring at now -- the time will come when not a single stone will be left onanother; everything will be destroyed.'	6 »Jönnek majd napok, amikor mindezekből, amit itt láttok, nem marad kő kövön, amelyet le ne rombolnának.«
7 And they put to him this question, 'Master,' they said, 'when wil this happen, then, and what sign wilthere be that it is about to take place?'	7 Erre megkérdezték őt: »Mester! Mikor fognak ezek bekövetkezni, és mi lesz előtte a jel?«
8 But he said, 'Take care not to be deceived, because many wil come using my name and saying, "I amthe one" and "The time is near at hand." Refuse to join them.	8 Ő pedig így szólt: »Vigyázzatok, nehogy félrevezessenek benneteket! Mert sokan jönnek az én nevemben, és azt mondják: ‘Én vagyok’, és: ‘Elérkezett az idő’; de ti ne menjetek utánuk.
9 And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be terrified, for this is something that must happenfirst, but the end wil not come at once.'	9 Mikor háborúkról és lázadásokról hallotok, meg ne rémüljetek; ezeknek előbb meg kell történniük ; de ez még nem a vég.«
10 Then he said to them, 'Nation wil fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.	10 Azután ezt mondta nekik: »Nemzet nemzet ellen támad, és ország ország ellen.
11 There wil be great earthquakes and plagues and famines in various places; there wil be terrifyingevents and great signs from heaven.	11 Földindulások lesznek, sok helyen dögvész, éhség, rettentő tünemények és nagy égi jelek.
12 'But before all this happens, you will be seized and persecuted; you will be handed over to thesynagogues and to imprisonment, and brought before kings and governors for the sake of my name	12 Mindezek előtt pedig kezet emelnek rátok és üldözni fognak titeket. Átadnak benneteket a zsinagógáknak és börtönbe vetnek. Királyok és helytartók elé hurcolnak titeket az én nevemért.
13 -and that wil be your opportunity to bear witness.	13 Alkalom lesz ez számotokra, hogy tanúságot tegyetek.
14 Make up your minds not to prepare your defence,	14 Véssétek hát szívetekbe: ne gondolkodjatok előre, mi módon védekezzetek.
15 because I myself shal give you an eloquence and a wisdom that none of your opponents wil be ableto resist or contradict.	15 Mert olyan szájat és bölcsességet adok majd nektek, amelynek egyetlen ellenfeletek sem tud ellenállni vagy ellentmondani.
16 You wil be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relations and friends; and some of you wil be putto death.	16 Kiszolgáltatnak titeket szüleitek és testvéreitek, rokonaitok és barátaitok, és közületek egyeseket halálra adnak.
17 You wil be hated universal y on account of my name,	17 Gyűlöletesek lesztek mindenki előtt az én nevemért,
18 but not a hair of your head wil be lost.	18 de egy hajszál sem vész el a fejetekről.
19 Your perseverance wil win you your lives.	19 Állhatatossággal fogjátok megőrizni lelketeket.
20 'When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you must realise that it wil soon be laiddesolate.	20 Amikor pedig látjátok, hogy seregek veszik körül Jeruzsálemet, tudjátok meg, hogy elközelgett a pusztulása.
21 Then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains, those inside the city must leave it, and those incountry districts must not take refuge in it.	21 Akkor akik Júdeában vannak, fussanak a hegyekbe. Az ottlévők költözzenek ki, és akik vidéken vannak, ne menjenek oda.
22 For this is the time of retribution when al that scripture says must be fulfil ed.	22 Mert a bosszúállás napjai ezek , hogy beteljesedjen mindaz, ami meg van írva.
23 Alas for those with child, or with babies at the breast, when those days come!	23 Jaj a várandós és szoptatós anyáknak azokban a napokban! Mert nagy szorongatás lesz a földön és harag ezen a népen.
24 'For great misery wil descend on the land and retribution on this people. They will fal by the edge ofthe sword and be led captive to every gentile country; and Jerusalem wil be trampled down by the gentiles untiltheir time is complete.	24 Kard élén hullanak el, és fogságba hurcolják őket minden néphez, Jeruzsálemet pedig legázolják a pogányok , míg be nem telik a nemzetek ideje.
25 'There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by theturmoil of the ocean and its waves;	25 Jelek lesznek a napban, a holdban és a csillagokban, és a földön a népek kétségbeesett rettegése a tenger zúgása és háborgása miatt.
26 men fainting away with terror and fear at what menaces the world, for the powers of heaven wil beshaken.	26 Az emberek megdermednek a rémülettől, és annak várásától, ami a világmindenséggel történik, mert az egek erői megrendülnek.
27 And then they wil see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.	27 Akkor meglátják az Emberfiát, amint eljön felhőben, nagy hatalommal és dicsőséggel .
28 When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation isnear at hand.'	28 Mikor pedig ezek elkezdődnek, egyenesedjetek fel és emeljétek fel a fejeteket, mert közel van a ti megváltástok.«
29 And he told them a parable, 'Look at the fig tree and indeed every tree.	29 Példabeszédet is mondott nekik: »Nézzétek a fügefát és a többi fát.
30 As soon as you see them bud, you can see for yourselves that summer is now near.	30 Amikor kifakadnak, tudjátok, hogy közel van a nyár.

33 Sky and earth wil pass away, but my words wil never pass away.	33 Ég és föld elmúlnak, de az én igéim el nem múlnak.
34 'Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the caresof life, and that day wil come upon you unexpectedly,	34 Vigyázzatok hát magatokra, hogy el ne nehezedjen szívetek a tobzódásban és részegségben, s az élet gondjai között, és az a nap meg ne lepjen titeket hirtelen.
35 like a trap. For it wil come down on all those living on the face of the earth.	35 Mert mint a csapda, úgy fog lecsapni mindazokra, akik az egész föld színén laknak.
36 Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to holdyour ground before the Son of man.'	36 Virrasszatok tehát, és minden időben imádkozzatok, hogy megmeneküljetek mindattól, ami be fog következni, és megállhassatok az Emberfia előtt.«
37 All day long he would be in the Temple teaching, but would spend the night in the open on the hilcal ed the Mount of Olives.	37 Nappal a templomban tanított, éjszakára pedig kiment, és azon a hegyen időzött, amelyet Olajfák hegyének hívnak.
