1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spiceswith which to go and anoint him.	1 E passato il sabato, Maria Maddalena e Maria madre di Giacomo, e Salome comprarono degli aromi per andare a imbalsamare Gesù.
2 And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun hadrisen.	2 E di gran mattino, il primo giorno della settimana, arrivano al sepolcro sul levar del sole.
3 They had been saying to one another, 'Who wil rol away the stone for us from the entrance to thetomb?'	3 E dicevano tra loro: Chi ci ribalterà la pietra, dalla bocca del sepolcro?
4 But when they looked they saw that the stone -- which was very big -- had already been rol ed back.	4 E guardando videro la pietra già mossa, ed era molto grande.
5 On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right-hand side, and theywere struck with amazement.	5 Ed entrato nella tomba, videro un giovanetto seduto a destra, vestito di bianco e si spaventarono.
6 But he said to them, 'There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, whowas crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him.	6 Ma egli disse loro: Non vi spaventate. Voi cercate Gesù Nazareno che è stato crocifisso. E' risuscitato: non è qui: ecco il luogo dove l'avevan posto.
7 But you must go and tel his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you wil see him, just as he told you." '	7 Ma andate a dire ai suoi discepoli e a Pietro, ch'egli vi precede in Galilea, ivi lo vedrete come v'ha detto.
8 And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits;and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.	8 Ed esse, uscite, fuggirono dal sepolcro; che l'aveva invaso il tremito e la paura, e non dissero nulla a nessuno, tanto orano impaurite.
9 Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala fromwhom he had cast out seven devils.	9 Or Gesù, risuscitato la mattina del primo giorno della settimana, apparve prima a Maria Maddalena, dalla quale aveva cacciato sette demoni.
10 She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, andtold them.	10 Ed essa andò ad annunziarlo a coloro che erano stati con lui, afflitti e piangenti.
11 But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.	11 Ma essi, udendo che Gesù era vivo o che era stato veduto da, lei, non ci credettero.
12 After this, he showed himself under another form to two of them as they were on their way into thecountry.	12 E dopo apparve per via, sotto altra forma, a due di loro che andavano in campagna;
13 These went back and told the others, who did not believe them either.	13 e questi lo andarono ad annunziare agli altri, che non credettero nemmeno a loro.
14 Lastly, he showed himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table. He reproached them fortheir incredulity and obstinacy, because they had refused to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.	14 Finalmente apparve agli undici mentre erano a tavola, e li rimprovero della loro incredulità e durezza di cuore per non aver creduto a quelli che l'avevano visto risuscitato.
15 And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to al creation.	15 E disse loro: Andate per tutto il mondo, e predicate il Vangelo ad ogni creatura.
16 Whoever believes and is baptised wil be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.	16 Chi crederà e sarà battezzato sarà salvo; chi poi non avrà creduto sarà condannato.
17 These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they wil cast out devils; theywil have the gift of tongues;	17 Or questi sono i segni che accompagneranno coloro che avran creduto: in nome mio scaccerarmo i demoni, parleranno nuove lingue,
18 they wil pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they wil laytheir hands on the sick, who wil recover.'	18 maneggeranno i serpenti, e, se avran bevuto qualche veleno, non farà loro male; imporranno le mani agli infermi ed essi guariranno.
19 And so the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven; there at the righthand of God he took his place,	19 E il Signore Gesù, dopo aver loro parlato, fu assunto in cielo e siede alla destra di Dio.
20 while they, going out, preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word bythe signs that accompanied it.	20 Quelli poi andarono a predicare da per tutto, colla cooperazione del Signore, il quale confermava la parola coi prodigi che l'accompagnavano.
