1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spiceswith which to go and anoint him.	1 - Passato il sabato, Maria Maddalena e Maria madre di Giacomo, e Salome, comperarono aromi per andare a imbalsamare Gesù.
2 And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun hadrisen.	2 E la mattina del primo giorno della settimana, molto per tempo, vennero al sepolcro, al levar del sole.
3 They had been saying to one another, 'Who wil rol away the stone for us from the entrance to thetomb?'	3 E dicevano tra loro: «Chi ci toglierà la pietra dall'ingresso del sepolcro?».
4 But when they looked they saw that the stone -- which was very big -- had already been rol ed back.	4 Ma, alzati gli occhi, osservarono che la pietra, benchè fosse molto grande, era stata rimossa.
5 On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right-hand side, and theywere struck with amazement.	5 Entrate nella tomba videro un giovanetto, seduto a destra, vestito di una veste bianca e furono spaventate.
6 But he said to them, 'There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, whowas crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him.	6 Egli però disse loro: «Non vi spaventate! Voi cercate Gesù di Nazaret, che è stato crocifisso; egli è risorto; non è qui; ecco il luogo dove lo avevan deposto.
7 But you must go and tel his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you wil see him, just as he told you." '	7 Ma andate a dire a' suoi discepoli e a Pietro, che egli vi precede in Galilea; quivi lo vedrete, come vi ha detto».
8 And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits;and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.	8 Uscite, se ne fuggirono dal sepolcro perchè erano state prese da tremito e da paura e non dissero nulla ad alcuno, perchè temevano.
9 Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala fromwhom he had cast out seven devils.	9 Gesù, dopo che fu risorto nel primo giorno della settimana, apparve a Maria Maddalena, dalla quale aveva scacciato sette demoni.
10 She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, andtold them.	10 Ella andò ad annunziarlo a coloro che erano stati con lui e che eran afflitti e piangenti.
11 But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.	11 Ed essi, udito che egli viveva ed era stato veduto da lei, non le credettero.
12 After this, he showed himself under another form to two of them as they were on their way into thecountry.	12 In seguito apparve a due di loro che erano in cammino per andare nei campi;
13 These went back and told the others, who did not believe them either.	13 e questi andarono ad annunziarlo agli altri, i quali non credettero neppure a loro.
14 Lastly, he showed himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table. He reproached them fortheir incredulity and obstinacy, because they had refused to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.	14 Più tardi apparve agli Undici, mentre erano a tavola e li rimproverò della loro incredulità e durezza di cuore, perchè non avevano creduto a quelli che l'avevano visto risorto.
15 And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to al creation.	15 Poi disse loro: «Andate per tutto il mondo, predicate l'Evangelo ad ogni creatura.
16 Whoever believes and is baptised wil be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.	16 Chi crederà e sarà battezzato sarà salvo; chi invece non crederà sarà condannato.
17 These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they wil cast out devils; theywil have the gift of tongues;	17 Ora questi segni accompagneranno coloro che credono; scacceranno i demoni nel mio nome; parleranno lingue nuove;
18 they wil pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they wil laytheir hands on the sick, who wil recover.'	18 prenderanno in mano serpenti e quand'anche bevessero veleno non ne avranno alcun male; imporranno le mani agli infermi e guariranno».
19 And so the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven; there at the righthand of God he took his place,	19 Il Signore Gesù dunque, dopo aver loro parlato, fu assunto nel cielo e siede alla destra di Dio.
20 while they, going out, preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word bythe signs that accompanied it.	20 Quelli poi andarono e predicarono ovunque con l'assistenza del Signore, il quale confermava la loro parola con i miracoli che l'accompagnava.
