1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spiceswith which to go and anoint him.	1 E passato il sabato, Maria Maddalena, e Maria madre di Giacomo, e Salome avean comperato gli aromi per andar a imbalsamare Gesù.
2 And very early in the morning on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun hadrisen.	2 E (partite) di gran mattino il primo dì della settimana arrivano al sepolcro, essendo già nato il sole.
3 They had been saying to one another, 'Who wil rol away the stone for us from the entrance to thetomb?'	3 E dicevano tra di loro: Chi ci leverà la pietra dalla bocca del monumento?
4 But when they looked they saw that the stone -- which was very big -- had already been rol ed back.	4 Ma in osservando videro, ch'era stata rimossa la pietra; là quale era molto grossa.
5 On entering the tomb they saw a young man in a white robe seated on the right-hand side, and theywere struck with amazement.	5 Ed entrate nel monumento videro un giovane a sedere dal lato destro, coperto di bianca veste, e rimasero stupefatte.
6 But he said to them, 'There is no need to be so amazed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, whowas crucified: he has risen, he is not here. See, here is the place where they laid him.	6 Ma egli disse loro: Non abbiate timore: Voi cercate Gesù Nazareno crocifisso: egli è risuscitato, non è qui: ecco il luogo, dove l'aveano deposto.
7 But you must go and tel his disciples and Peter, "He is going ahead of you to Galilee; that is where you wil see him, just as he told you." '	7 Ma andate, dite a' suoi discepoli, e a Pietro: egli vi anderà innanzi nella Galilea: ivi lo vedrete, com' egli vi ha detto.
8 And the women came out and ran away from the tomb because they were frightened out of their wits;and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.	8 Ed esse uscite del sepolcro, si dettero a fuggire: imperocché erano sopraffatte dalla paura, e dal tremore: e non disser nulla a nissuno; perché erano impaurite.
9 Having risen in the morning on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala fromwhom he had cast out seven devils.	9 Ma Gesù essendo risuscitato la mattina, il primo di della settimana, apparve in prima a Maria Maddalena, dalla quale avea cacciato sette demonj.
10 She then went to those who had been his companions, and who were mourning and in tears, andtold them.	10 Ed ella andò ad annunziarlo a coloro, ch'erano stati con esso lui, i quali erano afflitti, e piangevano.
11 But they did not believe her when they heard her say that he was alive and that she had seen him.	11 Ed essi, avendo udito, com' egli era vivo, ed ella l'avea veduto, non credettero.
12 After this, he showed himself under another form to two of them as they were on their way into thecountry.	12 Dopo di questo a due di loro si mostrò per istrada sott' altro aspetto, mentre andavano a un villaggio.
13 These went back and told the others, who did not believe them either.	13 E questi andarono a darne la nuova agli altri, i quali non credettero nemmen a loro.
14 Lastly, he showed himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table. He reproached them fortheir incredulity and obstinacy, because they had refused to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.	14 Ultimamente apparve agli undici, mentre erano a mensa: e rinfacciò ad essi la loro incredulità, e durezza di cuore; perché non avevan prestato fede a quelli, che l'avevan veduto risuscitato.
15 And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to al creation.	15 E dissse loro: Andate per tutto il mondo, predicate il Vangelo a tatti gli uomini.
16 Whoever believes and is baptised wil be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.	16 Chi crederà, e sarà battezzato, sarà salvo: chi poi non crederà, sarà condannato.
17 These are the signs that will be associated with believers: in my name they wil cast out devils; theywil have the gift of tongues;	17 E questi sono i miracoli, che accompagneranno coloro, che avran creduto: nel nome mio scacceranno i demonj: parleranno lingue nuove:
18 they wil pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poison; they wil laytheir hands on the sick, who wil recover.'	18 Maneggeranno i serpenti, e se avran bevuto qualche cosa di mortifero, non farà loro male: imporranno le mani ai malati, e guariranno.
19 And so the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven; there at the righthand of God he took his place,	19 E il Signore Gesù, parlato che ebbe con essi, fu assunto al cielo, e siede alla destra di Dio.
20 while they, going out, preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word bythe signs that accompanied it.	20 Ed essi andarono, e predicarono per ogni dove, cooperando il Signore, il quale confermava la sua parola con i miracoli, da' quali era seguitata.
