NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Tysiąclecia
1 As he was leaving the Temple one of his disciples said to him, 'Master, look at the size of thosestones! Look at the size of those buildings!'	1 Gdy wychodził ze świątyni, rzekł Mu jeden z uczniów: Nauczycielu, patrz, co za kamienie i jakie budowle!
2 And Jesus said to him, 'You see these great buildings? Not a single stone wil be left on another;everything wil be pul ed down.'	2 Jezus mu odpowiedział: Widzisz te potężne budowle? Nie zostanie tu kamień na kamieniu, który by nie był zwalony.
3 And while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, facing the Temple, Peter, James, John and Andrewquestioned him when they were by themselves,	3 A gdy siedział na Górze Oliwnej, naprzeciw świątyni, pytali Go na osobności Piotr, Jakub, Jan i Andrzej:

8 For nation wil fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There wil be earthquakes in variousplaces; there wil be famines. 9 'Be on your guard: you wil be handed over to sanhedrins; you wil be beaten in synagogues; and you wil be brought before governors and kings for my sake, as evidence to them,	9 A wy miejcie się na baczności. 12 Brother wil betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will come forward against theirparents and have them put to death.	12 Brat wyda brata na śmierć i ojciec swoje dziecko; powstaną dzieci przeciw rodzicom i o śmierć ich przyprawią.
13 You wil be universal y hated on account of my name; but anyone who stands firm to the end wil besaved.	13 I będziecie w nienawiści u wszystkich z powodu mojego imienia. Lecz kto wytrwa do końca, ten będzie zbawiony.
14 'When you see the appal ing abomination set up where it ought not to be (let the reader understand),then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains;	14 A gdy ujrzycie ohydę spustoszenia, zalegającą tam, gdzie być nie powinna - kto czyta, niech rozumie - wtedy ci, którzy będą w Judei, niech uciekają w góry.
15 if a man is on the housetop, he must not come down or go inside to col ect anything from his house;	15 Kto będzie na dachu, niech nie schodzi i nie wchodzi do domu, żeby coś zabrać.
16 if a man is in the fields, he must not turn back to fetch his cloak.	16 A kto będzie na polu, niech nie wraca, żeby wziąć swój płaszcz.
17 Alas for those with child, or with babies at the breast, when those days come!	17 Biada zaś brzemiennym i karmiącym w owe dni.
18 Pray that this may not be in winter.	18 A módlcie się, żeby to nie przypadło w zimie.
19 For in those days there will be great distress, unparalleled since God created the world, and such aswil never be again.	19 Albowiem dni owe będą czasem ucisku, jakiego nie było od początku stworzenia Bożego aż dotąd i nigdy nie będzie.
20 And if the Lord had not shortened that time, no human being would have survived; but he did shortenthe time, for the sake of the elect whom he chose.	20 I gdyby Pan nie skrócił owych dni, nikt by nie ocalał. Ale skróci te dni z powodu wybranych, których sobie obrał.
21 'And if anyone says to you then, "Look, here is the Christ" or, "Look, he is there," do not believe it;	21 I wtedy jeśliby wam kto powiedział: Oto tu jest Mesjasz, oto tam: nie wierzcie.
22 for false Christs and false prophets wil arise and produce signs and portents to deceive the elect, ifthat were possible.	22 Powstaną bowiem fałszywi mesjasze i fałszywi prorocy i czynić będą znaki i cuda, żeby wprowadzić w błąd, jeśli to możliwe, wybranych.

25 the stars will come falling out of the sky and the powers in the heavens wil be shaken.	25 Gwiazdy będą padać z nieba i moce na niebie zostaną wstrząśnięte.
26 And then they wil see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.	26 Wówczas ujrzą Syna Człowieczego, przychodzącego w obłokach z wielką mocą i chwałą.
27 And then he wil send the angels to gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the world tothe ends of the sky.	27 Wtedy pośle On aniołów i zbierze swoich wybranych z czterech stron świata, od krańca ziemi aż do szczytu nieba.
28 'Take the fig tree as a parable: as soon as its twigs grow supple and its leaves come out, you knowthat summer is near.	28 A od drzewa figowego uczcie się przez podobieństwo! Kiedy już jego gałąź nabiera soków i wypuszcza liście, poznajecie, że blisko jest lato.
29 So with you when you see these things happening: know that he is near, right at the gates.	29 Tak i wy, gdy ujrzycie, że to się dzieje, wiedzcie, że blisko jest, we drzwiach.
30 In truth I tel you, before this generation has passed away al these things will have taken place.	30 Zaprawdę, powiadam wam: Nie przeminie to pokolenie, aż się to wszystko stanie.
31 Sky and earth wil pass away, but my words wil not pass away.	31 Niebo i ziemia przeminą, ale słowa moje nie przeminą.
32 'But as for that day or hour, nobody knows it, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; no one butthe Father.	32 Lecz o dniu owym lub godzinie nikt nie wie, ani aniołowie w niebie, ani Syn, tylko Ojciec.
33 'Be on your guard, stay awake, because you never know when the time wil come.	33 Uważajcie, czuwajcie, bo nie wiecie, kiedy czas ten nadejdzie.
34 It is like a man travel ing abroad: he has gone from his home, and left his servants in charge, eachwith his own work to do; and he has told the doorkeeper to stay awake.	34 Bo rzecz ma się podobnie jak z człowiekiem, który udał się w podróż. Zostawił swój dom, powierzył swoim sługom staranie o wszystko, każdemu wyznaczył zajęcie, a odźwiernemu przykazał, żeby czuwał.
35 So stay awake, because you do not know when the master of the house is coming, evening,midnight, cockcrow or dawn;	35 Czuwajcie więc, bo nie wiecie, kiedy pan domu przyjdzie: z wieczora czy o północy, czy o pianiu kogutów, czy rankiem.
36 if he comes unexpectedly, he must not find you asleep.	36 By niespodzianie przyszedłszy, nie zastał was śpiących.
37 And what I am saying to you I say to al : Stay awake!'	37 Lecz co wam mówię, mówię wszystkim: Czuwajcie!
