Mark 13

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 As he was leaving the Temple one of his disciples said to him, 'Master, look at the size of thosestones! Look at the size of those buildings!'	1 Amikor a templomból kiment, az egyik tanítványa ezt mondta neki: »Mester! Nézd, milyen kövek, és micsoda épületek!«
2 And Jesus said to him, 'You see these great buildings? Not a single stone wil be left on another;everything wil be pul ed down.'	2 Jézus azt felelte neki: »Látod-e mindezeket a hatalmas építményeket? Nem marad itt kő kövön, amelyet le ne rombolnának.«
3 And while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, facing the Temple, Peter, James, John and Andrewquestioned him when they were by themselves,	3 Ezután az Olajfák hegyén leült a templommal szemben. Péter és Jakab, János és András külön megkérdezték tőle:
4 'Tel us, when is this going to happen, and what sign wil there be that it is all about to take place?'	4 »Mondd el nekünk, mikor történnek ezek, és mi lesz a jele annak, amikor mindez teljesedni készül?«
5 Then Jesus began to tel them, 'Take care that no one deceives you.	5 Jézus így válaszolt nekik: »Vigyázzatok, nehogy valaki félrevezessen titeket.
6 Many wil come using my name and saying, "I am he," and they wil deceive many.	6 Mert sokan jönnek majd az én nevemben, és azt mondják, hogy én vagyok, és sokakat félrevezetnek.
7 When you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do not be alarmed; this is something that must happen,but the end wil not be yet.	7 Amikor pedig harcokról és háborús hírekről hallotok, ne rémüljetek meg. Ennek be kell következni , de ez még nem a vég.
8 For nation wil fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There wil be earthquakes in variousplaces; there wil be famines. This is the beginning of the birth-pangs.	8 Mert nemzet nemzet ellen támad és ország ország ellen; itt is, ott is földrengések lesznek és éhínség. Ez a gyötrelmek kezdete.
9 'Be on your guard: you wil be handed over to sanhedrins; you wil be beaten in synagogues; and you wil be brought before governors and kings for my sake, as evidence to them,	9 Ti azonban vigyázzatok magatokra. Átadnak majd benneteket a törvényszékeknek, megvernek a zsinagógákban, helytartók és királyok elé állítanak benneteket énérettem, hogy tanúságot tegyetek előttük.
10 since the gospel must first be proclaimed to al nations.	10 Előbb azonban minden nemzet számára hirdetni kell az evangéliumot.
11 'And when you are taken to be handed over, do not worry beforehand about what to say; no, saywhatever is given to you when the time comes, because it is not you who wil be speaking; it is the Holy Spirit.	11 Amikor bíróság elé hurcolnak titeket, ne aggódjatok előre, hogy mit beszéljetek. Mondjátok azt, ami abban az órában megadatik nektek. Hiszen nem ti vagytok, akik szóltok, hanem a Szentlélek.
12 Brother wil betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will come forward against theirparents and have them put to death.	12 Akkor halálra adja majd a testvér a testvérét, az apa a fiát; a gyermekek szüleik ellen támadnak, és halálra juttatják őket.
13 You wil be universal y hated on account of my name; but anyone who stands firm to the end wil besaved.	13 Gyűlöletesek lesztek mindenki előtt az én nevemért, de aki kitart mindvégig, az üdvözül.
14 'When you see the appal ing abomination set up where it ought not to be (let the reader understand),then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains;	14 Amikor látjátok, hogy a pusztító gyalázat ott áll, ahol nem kellene – aki olvassa, értse meg –, akkor azok, akik Júdeában vannak, fussanak a hegyekbe!
15 if a man is on the housetop, he must not come down or go inside to col ect anything from his house;	15 Aki pedig a tetőn van, ne szálljon le, és ne menjen be, hogy elvigyen valamit a házából,
16 if a man is in the fields, he must not turn back to fetch his cloak.	16 aki pedig a mezőn van, ne térjen vissza, hogy elvigye a köntösét!
17 Alas for those with child, or with babies at the breast, when those days come!	17 Jaj a várandós és szoptatós anyáknak azokban a napokban!
18 Pray that this may not be in winter.	18 Imádkozzatok azért, hogy mindez ne télen történjék!
19 For in those days there will be great distress, unparalleled since God created the world, and such aswil never be again.	19 Mert olyan szorongattatás napjai lesznek ezek, amilyen még nem volt mostanáig a világ kezdetétől, amit Isten teremtett, és nem is lesz többé .
20 And if the Lord had not shortened that time, no human being would have survived; but he did shortenthe time, for the sake of the elect whom he chose.	20 És ha az Úr nem rövidítené meg azokat a napokat, nem menekülne meg egyetlen élőlény sem; de a választottakért, akiket kiválasztott, megrövidíti azokat a napokat.
21 'And if anyone says to you then, "Look, here is the Christ" or, "Look, he is there," do not believe it;	21 Akkor, ha valaki azt mondja nektek: ‘Íme, itt a Krisztus, íme, amott’, ne higgyétek.
22 for false Christs and false prophets wil arise and produce signs and portents to deceive the elect, ifthat were possible.	22 Mert hamis krisztusok és hamis próféták támadnak, jeleket és csodákat művelnek, hogy ha lehet, még a választottakat is tévedésbe ejtsék.
23 You, therefore, must be on your guard. I have given you full warning.	23 Ti tehát vigyázzatok; íme, mindent előre megmondtam nektek.
24 'But in those days, after that time of distress, the sun wil be darkened, the moon wil not give its light,	24 Azokban a napokban, a szorongattatás után a nap elsötétedik, a hold nem sugározza fényét,
25 the stars will come falling out of the sky and the powers in the heavens wil be shaken.	25 a csillagok lehullanak az égről , és az erők, amelyek az egekben vannak, megrendülnek.
26 And then they wil see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.	26 Akkor meglátják majd az Emberfiát, amint eljön a felhőkben, nagy hatalommal és dicsőséggel .
27 And then he wil send the angels to gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the world tothe ends of the sky.	27 Elküldi angyalait, és egybegyűjti választottait az ég négy tája felől , a föld végétől az ég határáig.
28 'Take the fig tree as a parable: as soon as its twigs grow supple and its leaves come out, you knowthat summer is near.	28 Vegyetek példát a fügefáról: amikor már zsenge az ága és a levelei kihajtottak, tudjátok, hogy közel van a nyár.

30 In truth I tel you, before this generation has passed away al these things will have taken place.	30 Bizony, mondom nektek: nem múlik el ez a nemzedék, amíg mindezek meg nem történnek.
31 Sky and earth wil pass away, but my words wil not pass away.	31 Ég és föld elmúlnak, de az én igéim el nem múlnak.
32 'But as for that day or hour, nobody knows it, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; no one butthe Father.	32 Azt a napot és az órát azonban senki sem ismeri, sem az angyalok az égben, sem a Fiú, csak az Atya.
33 'Be on your guard, stay awake, because you never know when the time wil come.	33 Vigyázzatok tehát, legyetek éberek, mert nem tudjátok, mikor jön el az az idő!
34 It is like a man travel ing abroad: he has gone from his home, and left his servants in charge, eachwith his own work to do; and he has told the doorkeeper to stay awake.	34 Mint az ember, aki idegenbe készült: mikor elhagyta házát, hatalmat adott szolgáinak, mindenkinek a maga dolgában, az ajtónállónak pedig megparancsolta, hogy ébren legyen.
35 So stay awake, because you do not know when the master of the house is coming, evening,midnight, cockcrow or dawn;	35 Legyetek tehát éberek; nem tudjátok ugyanis, mikor jön el a ház ura, este-e vagy éjfélkor, kakasszókor vagy reggel;
36 if he comes unexpectedly, he must not find you asleep.	36 hogy amikor váratlanul eljön, alva ne találjon benneteket.
37 And what I am saying to you I say to al : Stay awake!'	37 S amit nektek mondok, azt mindenkinek mondom: Legyetek éberek!«
