1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם מֹועֲדֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ אֵלֶּה הֵם מֹועֲדָי
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תֵּעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה וּבַיֹּום הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתֹון מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ כָּל־מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ שַׁבָּת הִוא לַיהוָה בְּכֹל מֹושְׁבֹתֵיכֶם׃ פ
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 אֵלֶּה מֹועֲדֵי יְהוָה מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם בְּמֹועֲדָם
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ בֵּין הָעַרְבָּיִם פֶּסַח לַיהוָה
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 וּבַחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יֹום לַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה חַג הַמַּצֹּות לַיהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים מַצֹּות תֹּאכֵלוּ
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 בַּיֹּום הָרִאשֹׁון מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּיֹּום הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ׃ פ
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי־תָבֹאוּ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם וּקְצַרְתֶּם אֶת־קְצִירָהּ וַהֲבֵאתֶם אֶת־עֹמֶר רֵאשִׁית קְצִירְכֶם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 וְהֵנִיף אֶת־הָעֹמֶר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לִרְצֹנְכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת יְנִיפֶנּוּ הַכֹּהֵן
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 וַעֲשִׂיתֶם בְּיֹום הֲנִיפְכֶם אֶת־הָעֹמֶר כֶּבֶשׂ תָּמִים בֶּן־שְׁנָתֹו לְעֹלָה לַיהוָה
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 וּמִנְחָתֹו שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ וְנִסְכֹּה יַיִן רְבִיעִת הַהִין
14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 וְלֶחֶם וְקָלִי וְכַרְמֶל לֹא תֹאכְלוּ עַד־עֶצֶם הַיֹּום הַזֶּה עַד הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת־קָרְבַּן אֱלֹהֵיכֶם חֻקַּת עֹולָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בְּכֹל מֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם׃ ס
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 וּסְפַרְתֶּם לָכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת מִיֹּום הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת־עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתֹות תְּמִימֹת תִּהְיֶינָה
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 עַד מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת הַשְּׁבִיעִת תִּסְפְּרוּ חֲמִשִּׁים יֹום וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם מִנְחָה חֲדָשָׁה לַיהוָה
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 מִמֹּושְׁבֹתֵיכֶם תָּבִיאּוּ ׀ לֶחֶם תְּנוּפָה תַּיִם שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סֹלֶת תִּהְיֶינָה חָמֵץ תֵּאָפֶינָה בִּכּוּרִים לַיהוָה
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עַל־הַלֶּחֶם שִׁבְעַת כְּבָשִׂים תְּמִימִם בְּנֵי שָׁנָה וּפַר בֶּן־בָּקָר אֶחָד וְאֵילִם שְׁנָיִם יִהְיוּ עֹלָה לַיהוָה וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ־נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 וַעֲשִׂיתֶם שְׂעִיר־עִזִּים אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת וּשְׁנֵי כְבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה לְזֶבַח שְׁלָמִים
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 וְהֵנִיף הַכֹּהֵן ׀ אֹתָם עַל לֶחֶם הַבִּכּוּרִים תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה עַל־שְׁנֵי כְּבָשִׂים קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיוּ לַיהוָה לַכֹּהֵן
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 וּקְרָאתֶם בְּעֶצֶם ׀ הַיֹּום הַזֶּה מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ חֻקַּת עֹולָם בְּכָל־מֹושְׁבֹתֵיכֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 וּבְקֻצְרְכֶם אֶת־קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם לֹא־תְכַלֶּה פְּאַת שָׂדְךָ בְּקֻצְרֶךָ וְלֶקֶט קְצִירְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּט לֶעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃ ס
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם שַׁבָּתֹון זִכְרֹון תְּרוּעָה מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה׃ ס
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 אַךְ בֶּעָשֹׂור לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה יֹום הַכִּפֻּרִים הוּא מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 וְכָל־מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ בְּעֶצֶם הַיֹּום הַזֶּה כִּי יֹום כִּפֻּרִים הוּא לְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיכֶם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 כִּי כָל־הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא־תְעֻנֶּה בְּעֶצֶם הַיֹּום הַזֶּה וְנִכְרְתָה מֵעַמֶּיהָ
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 וְכָל־הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה כָּל־מְלָאכָה בְּעֶצֶם הַיֹּום הַזֶּה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי אֶת־הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 כָּל־מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ חֻקַּת עֹולָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בְּכֹל מֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתֹון הוּא לָכֶם וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם בְּתִשְׁעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ בָּעֶרֶב מֵעֶרֶב עַד־עֶרֶב תִּשְׁבְּתוּ שַׁבַּתְּכֶם׃ פ
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יֹום לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה חַג הַסֻּכֹּות שִׁבְעַת יָמִים לַיהֹוָה
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 בַּיֹּום הָרִאשֹׁון מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תַּקְרִיבוּ אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה בַּיֹּום הַשְּׁמִינִי מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה עֲצֶרֶת הִוא כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 אֵלֶּה מֹועֲדֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר־תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ לְהַקְרִיב אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה עֹלָה וּמִנְחָה זֶבַח וּנְסָכִים דְּבַר־יֹום בְּיֹומֹו
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 מִלְּבַד שַׁבְּתֹת יְהוָה וּמִלְּבַד מַתְּנֹותֵיכֶם וּמִלְּבַד כָּל־נִדְרֵיכֶם וּמִלְּבַד כָּל־נִדְבֹותֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר תִּתְּנוּ לַיהוָה
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 אַךְ בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יֹום לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאָסְפְּכֶם אֶת־תְּבוּאַת הָאָרֶץ תָּחֹגּוּ אֶת־חַג־יְהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּיֹּום הָרִאשֹׁון שַׁבָּתֹון וּבַיֹּום הַשְּׁמִינִי שַׁבָּתֹון
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיֹּום הָרִאשֹׁון פְּרִי עֵץ הָדָר כַּפֹּת תְּמָרִים וַעֲנַף עֵץ־עָבֹת וְעַרְבֵי־נָחַל וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם שִׁבְעַת יָמִים
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 וְחַגֹּתֶם אֹתֹו חַג לַיהוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה חֻקַּת עֹולָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי תָּחֹגּוּ אֹתֹו
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 בַּסֻּכֹּת תֵּשְׁבוּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים כָּל־הָאֶזְרָח בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל יֵשְׁבוּ בַּסֻּכֹּת
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 לְמַעַן יֵדְעוּ דֹרֹתֵיכֶם כִּי בַסֻּכֹּות הֹושַׁבְתִּי אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּהֹוצִיאִי אֹותָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה אֶת־מֹעֲדֵי יְהוָה אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ פ
