Leviticus 23

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Ecco le feste del Signore, che voi chiamate sante.
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 Lavorerete sei giorni il settimo giorno, chè è il riposo del sabato, sarà chiamato santo: non farete in lesso alcun lavoro; è il sabato del Signore in tutte le vostre abitazioni.
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 Queste, son le feste sante del Signore, che voi dovete celebrare quando ricorrono.
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 Nel primo mese, ai quattordici del mese, verso sera, è la Pasqua del Signore;
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 e ai quindici dello stesso mese è la solennità degli azzimi del Signore. Per sette giorni mangerete azzimi.
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 Il primo giorno sarà per voi solennissimo e santo, non farete in esso alcun'opera servile,
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 e per sette giorni offrirete al signore un sacrificio mediante il fuoco: il settimo giorno sarà più solenne e più santo, e in esso non farete opere servili ».
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Quando io sarò entrato nella terra che io vi darò e ne mieterete le messi, porterete al sacerdote una mannella, come primizia delle vostro raccolte,
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 ed egli, il giorno dopo il sabato, alzerà la mannella dinanzi al Signore affinché sia gradita a favor vostro, e la santificherà.
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 Il giorno stesso della, consacrazione della mannella sara ucciso in olocausto al Signore un agnello senza, diletto, di un anno.
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 Con esso saranno offerte le libazioni: due decimi di fior di farina cosparsa d'olio per esser bruciata al Signore in soavissimo odore; e per libazioni di vino, la quarta parte d'un hin.
14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 Finché non avrete fatta l'offerta al vostro Dio, non mangerete nè pane, nè grano abbrustolito, ne bollito, della messe. Questa è una legge sempiterna per tutte le vostre generazioni e abitazioni.
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 Dal giorno dopo il sabato in cui avreste offerta la mannella delle primizie, conterete sette intere settimane,
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 fino al giorno dopo quello in cui si compie la settima settimana, quindi cinquanta giorni. Allora offrirete al Signore un nuovo sacrificio
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 da tutte le vostre abitazioni, due pani di primizie di due decimi di farina fermentata, cotta da voi come primizia al Signore.
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 Con quei pani offrirete sette agnelli d'un anno, senza difetto, un vitello e due montoni, che saranno offerti, colle loro libazioni, in olocausto, in odoro soavissimo al Signore.
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 Offrirete puro un capro per il peccato e due agnelli di un anno, come ostie di sacrifizi pacifici.
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 E quando il sacerdote vi avrà elevati coi pani delle primizie davanti al Signore, rimarranno a lui.
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 Voi chiamerete questo giorno solennissimo e santissimo: non farete in esso opere servili. Questa sarà una legge eterna intutte le vostre abitazioni e generazioni.
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Quando poi mieterete i vostri campi,non andrete fino in fondo, nè raccoglierete le spighe restate, ma le lascerete ai poveri ed ai forestieri. Io sono il Signore Dio vostro ».
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 « Di' ai figli d'Israele: Nel settimo mese, il primo dì del mese sarà per voi un sabato, una ricordanza fatta a suono di trombe e sarà chiamato santo.
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 In esso non farete alcun'opera servile, e offrirete un olocausto al Signore ».
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 « Ai dieci di questo settimo mese, sarà il giorno solennissimo delle espiazioni: sarà chiamato santo: in esso affliggerete le vostre anime e offrirete un olocausto al Signore.
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 Non farete in quel giorno alcun lavoro servile, perchè è un giorno di propiziazione, destinato a rendervi propizio il Signore Dio vostro.
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 L'uomo che non s'umilierà in quel giorno sarà sterminato di mezzo al suo popolo,
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 e chi avrà fatto qualche lavoro, lo cancellerò dal popolo suo.
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 In quel giorno dunque non farete lavori; e questa sarà una legge sempiterna per voi in tutte le vostre generazioni e abitazioni.
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 E un sabato di riposo: affliggerete le vostre anime il giorno nono del mese, celebrerete i vostri sabati da una sera all'altra ».
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 Di' ai figli d'Israele: Il quindici di questo settimo mese saran le feste dei Tabernacoli, e dureranno sette giorni in onore del Signore.
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 Il primo giorno sarà il più celebre e santissimo; in esso non farete alcun'opera servile.
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 E nei sette giorni offrirete olocausti al Signore. Anche l'ottavo giorno sarà celeberrimo e santissimo; in esso offrirete un olocausto al Signore, essendo giorno di adunanza e di assemblea, e non farete alcuna opera servile.
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 Queste son le feste del Signore, che chiamerete solennissime e santissime e nelle quali offrirete al Signore oblazioni, olocausti e libazioni, secondo il rito di ciascun giorno,
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 oltre i sabati del Signore, i vostri doni, e quello che darete per voto o spontaneamente al Signore.
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 Dunque il quindici del settimo mese, raccolti che abbiate tutti i frutti della vostra terra, celebrerete per sette giorni la festa del Signore. Il primo e l'ottavo giorno è sabato, cioè riposo.
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 Nel primo giorno prenderete i frutti dell'albero più bello, dei rami di palma e di albero frondoso, dei salci del torrente, e vi rallegrerete dinanzi al Signore Dio vostro.
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 Celebrerete questa solennità ogni anno per sette giorni: questa sarà una legge eterna per le vostre generazioni. La celebrerete al settimo mese,
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 e per sette giorni abiterete sotto capanne. Ogni uomo della stirpe d'Israele abiterà in capanne,
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 affinchè i vostri posteri imparino che io ho fatto abitare sotto le tende i figli d'Israele, quando li trassi dalla terra d'Egitto. Io sono il Signore Dio vostro ».
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 E Mosè parlò ai figli d'Israele sulle feste del Signore.
