1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 דבר אל בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם מועדי יהוה אשר תקראו אתם מקראי קדש אלה הם מועדי
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 ששת ימים תעשה מלאכה וביום השביעי שבת שבתון מקרא קדש כל מלאכה לא תעשו שבת הוא ליהוה בכל מושבתיכם
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 אלה מועדי יהוה מקראי קדש אשר תקראו אתם במועדם
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 בחדש הראשון בארבעה עשר לחדש בין הערבים פסח ליהוה
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 ובחמשה עשר יום לחדש הזה חג המצות ליהוה שבעת ימים מצות תאכלו
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 ביום הראשון מקרא קדש יהיה לכם כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 והקרבתם אשה ליהוה שבעת ימים ביום השביעי מקרא קדש כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 דבר אל בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם כי תבאו אל הארץ אשר אני נתן לכם וקצרתם את קצירה והבאתם את עמר ראשית קצירכם אל הכהן
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 והניף את העמר לפני יהוה לרצנכם ממחרת השבת יניפנו הכהן
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 ועשיתם ביום הניפכם את העמר כבש תמים בן שנתו לעלה ליהוה
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 ומנחתו שני עשרנים סלת בלולה בשמן אשה ליהוה ריח ניחח ונסכה יין רביעת ההין
14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 ולחם וקלי וכרמל לא תאכלו עד עצם היום הזה עד הביאכם את קרבן אלהיכם חקת עולם לדרתיכם בכל משבתיכם
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 וספרתם לכם ממחרת השבת מיום הביאכם את עמר התנופה שבע שבתות תמימת תהיינה
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 עד ממחרת השבת השביעת תספרו חמשים יום והקרבתם מנחה חדשה ליהוה
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 ממושבתיכם תביאו לחם תנופה שתים שני עשרנים סלת תהיינה חמץ תאפינה בכורים ליהוה
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 והקרבתם על הלחם שבעת כבשים תמימם בני שנה ופר בן בקר אחד ואילם שנים יהיו עלה ליהוה ומנחתם ונסכיהם אשה ריח ניחח ליהוה
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 ועשיתם שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת ושני כבשים בני שנה לזבח שלמים
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 והניף הכהן אתם על לחם הבכורים תנופה לפני יהוה על שני כבשים קדש יהיו ליהוה לכהן
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 וקראתם בעצם היום הזה מקרא קדש יהיה לכם כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו חקת עולם בכל מושבתיכם לדרתיכם
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 ובקצרכם את קציר ארצכם לא תכלה פאת שדך בקצרך ולקט קצירך לא תלקט לעני ולגר תעזב אתם אני יהוה אלהיכם
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 דבר אל בני ישראל לאמר בחדש השביעי באחד לחדש יהיה לכם שבתון זכרון תרועה מקרא קדש
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו והקרבתם אשה ליהוה
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 אך בעשור לחדש השביעי הזה יום הכפרים הוא מקרא קדש יהיה לכם ועניתם את נפשתיכם והקרבתם אשה ליהוה
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 וכל מלאכה לא תעשו בעצם היום הזה כי יום כפרים הוא לכפר עליכם לפני יהוה אלהיכם
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 כי כל הנפש אשר לא תענה בעצם היום הזה ונכרתה מעמיה
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 וכל הנפש אשר תעשה כל מלאכה בעצם היום הזה והאבדתי את הנפש ההוא מקרב עמה
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 כל מלאכה לא תעשו חקת עולם לדרתיכם בכל משבתיכם
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 שבת שבתון הוא לכם ועניתם את נפשתיכם בתשעה לחדש בערב מערב עד ערב תשבתו שבתכם
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 דבר אל בני ישראל לאמר בחמשה עשר יום לחדש השביעי הזה חג הסכות שבעת ימים ליהוה
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 ביום הראשון מקרא קדש כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 שבעת ימים תקריבו אשה ליהוה ביום השמיני מקרא קדש יהיה לכם והקרבתם אשה ליהוה עצרת הוא כל מלאכת עבדה לא תעשו
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 אלה מועדי יהוה אשר תקראו אתם מקראי קדש להקריב אשה ליהוה עלה ומנחה זבח ונסכים דבר יום ביומו
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 מלבד שבתת יהוה ומלבד מתנותיכם ומלבד כל נדריכם ומלבד כל נדבותיכם אשר תתנו ליהוה
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 אך בחמשה עשר יום לחדש השביעי באספכם את תבואת הארץ תחגו את חג יהוה שבעת ימים ביום הראשון שבתון וביום השמיני שבתון
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 ולקחתם לכם ביום הראשון פרי עץ הדר כפת תמרים וענף עץ עבת וערבי נחל ושמחתם לפני יהוה אלהיכם שבעת ימים
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 וחגתם אתו חג ליהוה שבעת ימים בשנה חקת עולם לדרתיכם בחדש השביעי תחגו אתו
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 בסכת תשבו שבעת ימים כל האזרח בישראל ישבו בסכת
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 למען ידעו דרתיכם כי בסכות הושבתי את בני ישראל בהוציאי אותם מארץ מצרים אני יהוה אלהיכם
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 וידבר משה את מעדי יהוה אל בני ישראל
