Leviticus 23

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: Estas son mis fiestas, las fiestas del Señor en las que ustedes convocarán las asambleas litúrgicas:
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo será un día de reposo, de asamblea litúrgica, en el que ustedes no harán ningún trabajo. Será un sábado consagrado al Señor, cualquiera sea el lugar donde habiten.
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 Las fiestas del Señor, las asambleas litúrgicas que ustedes convocarán a su debido tiempo, son las siguientes:
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 En el primer mes, el día catorce, al ponerse el sol, se celebrará la Pascua del señor,
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 y el quince de ese mismo mes tendrá lugar la fiesta de los Acimos en honor del Señor. Durante siete días comerán panes sin levadura.
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 El primer día tendrán una asamblea litúrgica y no harán ningún trabajo servil.
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 Durante siete días ofrecerán una ofrenda que se quema para el Señor. El séptimo día habrá una asamblea litúrgica y ustedes no harán ningún trabajo servil.
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 El Señor dijo Moisés:
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: Cuando entren en la tierra que yo les doy y cuando recojan la cosecha, entregarán al sacerdote la primera gavilla.
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 El día siguiente al sábado, él la ofrecerá al Señor con el gesto de presentación, para que les sea aceptada;
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 y ese mismo día ustedes sacrificarán como holocausto al Señor un cordero de un año y sin defecto.
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 Juntamente con él, presentarán –como ofrenda que se quema con aroma agradable al Señor– una oblación consistente en dos décimas de harina de la mejor calidad mezclada con aceite; y añadirán como libación un litro y medio de vino.
14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 Antes de ese día, o sea, antes de entregar la ofrenda de su Dios, no comerán pan, grano tostado ni espigas tiernas. Este es un decreto válido para siempre, a lo largo de las generaciones, cualquiera sea el lugar donde habiten.
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 También contarán siete semanas, a partir del día en que entreguen la gavilla ofrecida con el gesto de presentación, o sea a partir del día siguiente al sábado. Las semanas deberán ser completas.
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 Por eso tendrán que contar hasta el día siguiente al séptimo sábado: cincuenta días en total. Entonces ofrecerán al Señor una ofrenda de grano nuevo.
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 Ustedes traerán desde sus casas dos panes, para que sean ofrecidos con el gesto de presentación. Cada pan deberá estar preparado con dos décimas de harina de la mejor calidad y cocido después de fermentar: son las primicias para el Señor.
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 junto con el pan, ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor siete corderos de un año y sin defecto, un novillo y dos carneros, con sus correspondientes oblaciones y libaciones, como ofrenda que se quema con aroma agradable al Señor.
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 También ofrecerán un chivo como sacrificio por el pecado, y dos corderos de un año como sacrificio de comunión.
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 El sacerdote los ofrecerá al Señor con el gesto de presentación, junto con el pan de las primicias y dos corderos. Todo esto es una cosa consagrada al Señor y pertenecerá al sacerdote.
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 Ese mismo día harán una convocatoria: ustedes tendrán una asamblea litúrgica y no se podrá realizar ningún trabajo servil. Este es un decreto válido para siempre, a lo largo de las generaciones, cualquiera sea el lugar donde habiten,
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 En el momento de recoger la cosecha de tu tierra, no segarás todo el campo hasta sus bordes, ni volverás a buscar las espigas caídas: las dejarás para el pobre y el extranjero. Yo soy el Señor, tu Dios.
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: El primer día del séptimo mes será para ustedes un día de descanso, una conmemoración anunciada con toque de trompetas, y habrá una asamblea litúrgica.
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 No harán ningún trabajo servil y presentarás una ofrenda que se quema en homenaje al Señor.
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 Además, el décimo día de ese séptimo mes, será el día de la Expiación. Habrá una asamblea litúrgica, observarán el ayuno y presentarán una ofrenda que se quema para el Señor.
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 En el transcurso de todo ese día no harán ningún trabajo, porque es el día de la Expiación, en que se practicará el rito de expiación en favor de ustedes, delante del Señor, su Dios.
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 El que no observe el ayuno a lo largo de ese día, será excluido de su pueblo.
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 Y yo haré desaparecer de su pueblo al que realice cualquier clase de trabajo.
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 Ustedes no harán ningún trabajo. Es un decreto válido para siempre, a lo largo de las generaciones, cualquiera sea el lugar donde habiten.
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 Este será para ustedes un día de descanso, en el que observarán el ayuno, El noveno día del mes por la tarde, desde esa tarde hasta la siguiente, observarán este descanso.
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: Además, el día quince de este séptimo mes se celebrará la fiesta de las Chozas en honor del Señor, durante siete días.
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 El primer día habrá una asamblea litúrgica, y ustedes no harán ningún trabajo servil.
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 Durante siete días presentarán una ofrenda que se quema para el Señor. Al octavo día, celebrarán una asamblea litúrgica y presentarán una ofrenda que se quema para el Señor: es una asamblea solemne y ustedes no harán ningún trabajo.
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 Estas son las fiestas del Señor, en las que ustedes convocarán las asambleas litúrgicas y presentarán ofrendas que se queman para el Señor –holocaustos, oblaciones, sacrificios y libaciones, según corresponda a cada día–
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 además de los sábados del Señor, y de los dones, las ofrendas votivas y las ofrendas voluntarias que ustedes ofrezcan al Señor.
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 El día quince del séptimo mes, cuando hayan cosechado los productos de la tierra, celebrarán la Fiesta del Señor durante siete días. El primero y el octavo día serán de descanso.
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 El primer día ustedes tomarán frutos de los mejores árboles frondosos y sauces del río, y se alegrarán en la presencia del Señor, su Dios, durante siete días.
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 Así celebrarán la Fiesta del Señor durante siete días cada año, en el séptimo mes. Este es un decreto válido para siempre, a lo largo de las generaciones.
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 Durante siete días vivirán en chozas. Así tendrán que hacerlo todos los nativos de Israel,
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 para que las generaciones futuras sepan que yo hice vivir en chozas a los israelitas, cuando los hice salir del país de Egipto. Yo soy el Señor, su Dios.
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 De esta manera, Moisés declaró a los israelitas cuáles eran las fiestas del Señor.
