Leviticus 23

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 Habla a los israelitas y diles: Solemnidades de Yahveh que convocaréis como asambleas santas. Estas son mis solemnidades:
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 Seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día será de descanso completo, reunión sagrada en que no haréis trabajo alguno. Será descanso de Yahveh dondequiera que habitéis.
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 Estas son las solemnidades de Yahveh, las reuniones sagradas que convocaréis en las fechas señaladas.
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 El mes primero, el día catorce del mes, entre dos luces, será la Pascua de Yahveh.
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 El quince de este mes se celebrará la fiesta de los Ázimos en honor de Yahveh. Durante siete días comeréis panes ázimos.
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 El día primero tendréis reunión sagrada; no haréis ningún trabajo servil.
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 Ofreceréis durante siete días manjares abrasados a Yahveh. El séptimo día celebraréis reunión sagrada; no haréis ningún trabajo servil.
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando, después de entrar en la tierra que yo os doy, seguéis allí su mies, llevaréis una gavilla, como primicias de vuestra cosecha, al sacerdote,
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 que mecerá la gavilla delante de Yahveh, para alcanzaros su favor. El día siguiente al sábado la mecerá el sacerdote.
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 Ese mismo día en que mecieres la gavilla, sacrificaréis un cordero de un año, sin defecto, como holocausto a Yahveh,
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 junto con su oblación de dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite, como manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh. Su libación de vino será un cuarto de sextario.
14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 No comeréis pan ni grano tostado ni grano tierno hasta ese mismo día, hasta traer la ofrenda de vuestro Dios. Decreto perpetuo será éste de generación en generación dondequiera que habitéis.
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 Contaréis siete semanas enteras a partir del día siguiente al sábado, desde el día en que habréis llevado la gavilla de la ofrenda mecida;
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 hasta el día siguiente al séptimo sábado, contaréis cincuenta días y entonces ofreceréis a Yahveh una oblación nueva.
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 Llevaréis de vuestras casas como ofrenda mecida dos panes, hechos con dos décimas de flor de harina y cocidos con levadura, como primicias para Yahveh.
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 Juntamente con el pan ofreceréis a Yahveh siete corderos de un año, sin defecto, un novillo y dos carneros: serán el holocausto para Yahveh además de su ofrenda y sus libaciones, como manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh.
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 Ofreceréis también un macho cabrío como sacrificio por el pecado, y dos corderos de un año como sacrificio de comunión.
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 El sacerdote los mecerá como ofrenda ante Yahveh, juntamente con el pan de las primicias y con los dos corderos; serán consagrados a Yahveh y pertenecerán al sacerdote.
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 Ese mismo día convocaréis una reunión sagrada; la celebraréis y no haréis ningún trabajo servil. Decreto perpetuo será éste de generación en generación dondequiera que habitéis.
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Cuando cosechéis la mies de vuestra tierra, no siegues hasta el borde de tu campo, ni espigues los restos de tu mies; los dejarás para el pobre y para el forastero. Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios.
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 Habla a los israelitas y diles: En el mes séptimo, el primer día del mes será para vosotros de gran descanso, una fiesta conmemorativa con clamor de trompetas, una reunión sagrada.
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 No haréis ningún trabajo servil, y ofreceréis manjares abrasados a Yahveh.
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 Además el día décimo de este séptimo mes será el día de la Expiación, en el cual tendréis reunión sagrada; ayunaréis y ofreceréis manjares abrasados a Yahveh.
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 No haréis en ese mismo día ningún trabajo, pues es el día de Expiación, en el que se ha de hacer la expiación por vosotros delante de Yahveh, vuestro Dios.
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 El que no ayune ese día será exterminado de entre su pueblo.
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 Al que haga en tal día un trabajo cualquiera, yo lo haré perecer de en medio de su pueblo.
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 No haréis, pues, trabajo alguno. Es decreto perpetuo, de generación en generación, dondequiera que habitéis.
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 Será para vosotros día de descanso completo y ayunaréis; el día nueve del mes, por la tarde, de tarde a tarde, guardaréis descanso.
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 Habla a los israelitas y diles: El día quince de ese séptimo mes celebraréis durante siete días la fiesta de las Tiendas en honor a Yahveh.
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 El día primero habrá reunión sagrada y no haréis trabajo servil alguno.
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 Durante siete días ofreceréis manjares abrasados a Yahveh. El día octavo tendréis reunión sagrada y ofreceréis manjares abrasados a Yahveh. Habrá asamblea solemne. No haréis trabajo servil alguno.
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 Estas son las solemnidades de Yahveh en las que habéis de convocar reunión sagrada para ofrecer manjares abrasados a Yahveh, holocaustos y oblaciones, víctimas y libaciones, cada cosa en su día,
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 sin contar los sábados de Yahveh, sin contar vuestros dones, sin contar todos vuestros votos, sin contar todas vuestras oblaciones voluntarias, las que ofrezcáis a Yahveh.
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 El día quince del séptimo mes, después de haber cosechado el producto de la tierra, celebraréis la fiesta en honor de Yahveh durante siete días. El primer día será de descanso completo e igualmente el octavo.
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 El primer día tomaréis frutos de los mejores árboles, ramos de palmeras, ramas de árboles frondosos y sauces de río; y os alegraréis en la presencia de Yahveh, vuestro Dios, por espacio de siete días.
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 Celebraréis fiesta en honor de Yahveh durante siete días cada año. Será decreto perpetuo de generación en generación. En el séptimo mes la celebraréis.
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 Durante siete días habitaréis en cabañas. Todos los naturales de Israel morarán en cabañas,
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 para que sepan vuestros descendientes que yo hice habitar en cabañas a los israelitas cuando los saqué de la tierra de Egipto. Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios.
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 Moisés promulgó las solemnidades de Yahveh a los israelitas.
