1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: (The solemn festivals of Yahweh to which you wil summon them aremy sacred assemblies.) "These are my solemn festivals:	2 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: on convoquera une assemblée sainte pour les fêtes de Yahvé. Voici ces fêtes:
3 "You wil work for six days, but the seventh wil be a day of complete rest, a day for the sacredassembly on which you do no work at al . Wherever you live, this is a Sabbath for Yahweh.	3 Il y a six jours pour travailler, mais le septième jour est le sabbat, le repos complet. Il y aura une sainte assemblée. Vous ne ferez aucun travail, ce repos sera consacré à Yahvé dans tous les endroits où vous habiterez.
4 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals, the sacred assemblies to which you wil summon the Israeliteson the appointed day:	4 Voici les fêtes de Yahvé, les saintes assemblées que vous convoquerez en leur temps:
5 "The fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, is the Passover of Yahweh;	5 Le quatorzième jour du premier mois, au coucher du soleil, c’est la Pâque de Yahvé.
6 and the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of Unleavened Bread for Yahweh. For seven daysyou wil eat unleavened bread.	6 Le quinzième jour de ce même mois, c’est la fête des pains sans levain en l’honneur de Yahvé: pendant sept jours vous mangerez des pains sans levain.
7 On the first day you wil hold a sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	7 Au premier de ces jours il y aura une assemblée sainte. Vous ne ferez aucun travail de travailleur.
8 For seven days you wil offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the seventh day there will be a sacredassembly; you wil do no heavy work." '	8 Pendant sept jours vous offrirez en l’honneur de Yahvé un sacrifice par le feu, et le septième jour vous convoquerez une assemblée sainte et vous ne ferez aucun travail de travailleur.”
9 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	9 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
10 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you enter the country which I am giving you and reap theharvest there, you wil bring the priest the first sheaf of your harvest,	10 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: lorsque vous ferez la moisson, après votre entrée dans le pays que Yahvé vous donne, vous apporterez au prêtre une gerbe, ce seront les prémices de votre moisson.
11 and he wil present it to Yahweh with the gesture of offering, for you to be acceptable. The priest willmake this offering on the day after the Sabbath,	11 Le prêtre balancera solennellement la gerbe devant Yahvé pour qu’il vous bénisse; il la balancera le lendemain du sabbat.
12 and on the same day as you make this offering, you wil offer Yahweh an unblemished lamb one yearold as a burnt offering.	12 Le jour où vous balancerez la gerbe, vous offrirez à Yahvé en holocauste un agneau sans défaut né pendant l’année.
13 The cereal offering for that day will be two-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil, as food burnt as asmel pleasing to Yahweh. The libation wil be a quarter of a hin of wine.	13 Vous apporterez également deux mesures de fleur de farine pétrie dans l’huile, et vous les offrirez en sacrifice par le feu d’agréable odeur à Yahvé. 14 You wil eat no bread, roasted ears of wheat or fresh produce before this day, before making theoffering to your God. This is a perpetual law for al your descendants, wherever you live.	14 Vous ne mangerez ni pain, ni épi grillé, ni épi frais jusqu’à ce jour où vous apporterez l’offrande à votre Dieu. C’est un rite perpétuel, vous l’observerez de génération en génération partout où vous habiterez.
15 "From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of offering, you will countseven ful weeks.	15 À partir de ce lendemain du sabbat où vous aurez offert la première gerbe, vous compterez sept semaines pleines.
16 You wil count fifty days, to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then you wil offer Yahweh a newcereal offering.	16 Au lendemain du septième sabbat, c’est-à-dire au cinquantième jour, vous présenterez de nouveau une offrande à Yahvé.
17 You wil bring bread from your homes to present with the gesture of offering -- two loaves, made oftwo-tenths of wheaten flour baked with leaven; these are first-fruits for Yahweh.	17 Vous apporterez de chez vous une offrande, deux pains levés faits de deux mesures de fleur de farine: ce sont vos prémices pour Yahvé.
18 In addition to the bread, you wil offer seven unblemished lambs a year old, a young bul and tworams, as a burnt offering to Yahweh with a cereal offering and a libation, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	18 Avec ces pains vous offrirez sept agneaux sans défaut nés dans l’année, un jeune taureau et deux béliers pour l’holocauste pour Yahvé, ainsi qu’une offrande et une libation: ce sera un sacrifice par le feu d’agréable odeur à Yahvé.
19 You wil also offer a goat as a sacrifice for sin, and two lambs a year old as communion sacrifice.	19 Vous offrirez un bouc en sacrifice d’expiation et deux agneaux nés dans l’année en sacrifice de communion.
20 The priest wil present them before Yahweh with the gesture of offering, in addition to the bread of thefirst-fruits. These, and the two lambs, are holy things for Yahweh, and wil revert to the priest.	20 Le prêtre les balancera solennellement avec les pains des prémices devant Yahvé ainsi que les deux agneaux: ils seront pour Yahvé, ce sera la part du prêtre.
21 "On the same day, you will hold an assembly; for you this will be a sacred assembly; you wil do noheavy work. This is a perpetual law for your descendants, wherever you live.	21 Ce jour-là vous convoquerez une sainte assemblée et vous ne ferez aucun travail de travailleur. C’est un rite perpétuel, vous l’observerez de génération en génération partout où vous habiterez.
22 "When you reap the harvest in your country, you wil not reap to the very edges of your field, nor wilyou gather the gleanings of the harvest. You wil leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Lorsque vous moissonnerez vos terres, tu ne moissonneras pas jusqu’à la limite de ton champ, tu ne ramasseras pas ce qui peut être encore glané, mais tu le laisseras pour le pauvre et l’étranger: je suis Yahvé votre Dieu.”
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	23 Yahvé dit encore à Moïse:
24 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "The first day of the seventh month wil be a day of rest for you, ofremembrance and acclamation, a sacred assembly.	24 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: Le premier jour du septième mois sera pour vous le Grand Sabbat, annoncé au son du cor: on y tiendra une assemblée sainte.
25 You wil do no heavy work and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh." '	25 Vous ne ferez aucun travail de travailleur, mais vous offrirez à Yahvé un sacrifice par le feu.”
26 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	26 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
27 'But the tenth day of this seventh month wil be the Day of Expiation. You wil hold a sacred assembly.You will fast and offer food burnt for Yahweh.	27 “Le 10 de ce septième mois, c’est le Jour du Pardon: vous y tiendrez une assemblée sainte. Vous vous humilierez et vous offrirez à Yahvé un sacrifice par le feu.
28 You wil do no work that day, for it is the Day of Expiation, on which the rite of expiation will beperformed for you before Yahweh your God.	28 Ce jour-là on ne fera aucun travail, car c’est le Jour du Pardon. Vous y ferez le rite de l’expiation pour vos péchés devant Yahvé votre Dieu.
29 Anyone who fails to fast that day wil be outlawed from his people;	29 Toute personne qui refusera de s’humilier ce jour-là, sera retranchée de sa famille.
30 anyone who works that day I shal eliminate from his people.	30 Toute personne qui fera un travail quel qu’il soit ce jour-là, je la ferai périr du milieu de son peuple.
31 No work wil be done -- this is a perpetual law for your descendants wherever you live.	31 Vous ne ferez aucun travail: c’est un rite perpétuel que vous garderez de génération en génération partout où vous habiterez.
32 It must be a day of complete rest for you. You wil fast; on the evening of the ninth day of the month,from this evening till the fol owing evening, you wil rest completely.'	32 Ce sera pour vous le plus grand des sabbats, un repos absolu: vous vous humilierez. Le neuvième jour du mois au soir, et de ce soir jusqu’au lendemain soir, vous observerez ce sabbat.”
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	33 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
34 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "On the fifteenth day of this seventh month there wil be the feast ofShelters for Yahweh, lasting for seven days.	34 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: Le quinzième jour de ce septième mois, et pendant sept jours, c’est la Fête des Tentes en l’honneur de Yahvé.
35 The first day wil be a day of sacred assembly; you wil do no heavy work.	35 Le premier jour il y aura une assemblée sainte et vous ne ferez aucun travail de travailleur.
36 For seven days you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. On the eighth day you wil hold a sacredassembly and you will offer food burnt for Yahweh. It is a day of solemn meeting; you wil do no heavy work.	36 Pendant sept jours vous offrirez à Yahvé des sacrifices par le feu. Le huitième jour vous aurez de nouveau une assemblée sainte et vous offrirez à Yahvé des sacrifices par le feu: il marquera la fin de la fête. Vous ne ferez ce jour-là aucun travail de travailleur.
37 "These are Yahweh's solemn festivals to which you wil summon the Israelites, the sacred assembliesfor the purpose of offering food burnt for Yahweh, consisting of burnt offerings, cereal offerings, sacrifices andlibations, each on its appropriate day,	37 Voilà les fêtes de Yahvé où vous convoquerez une assemblée sainte. Vous offrirez à Yahvé des sacrifices par le feu, des holocaustes, des offrandes, des victimes et des libations.
38 besides Yahweh's Sabbaths, and your presents and al your votive and voluntary gifts that you maketo Yahweh.	38 Ce sera en plus des sabbats de Yahvé, en plus de vos dons, en plus de vos vœux, en plus de vos offrandes volontaires: de tout ce que vous offrez à Yahvé.
39 "But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land,you wil celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days. The first and eighth days wil be days of rest.	39 Le quinzième jour du septième mois, lorsque vous récolterez tous les produits du pays, vous irez célébrer durant sept jours la Fête de Yahvé; le premier et le huitième jour seront des sabbats solennels.
40 On the first day you wil take choice fruit, palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and flowering shrubsfrom the river bank, and for seven days enjoy yourselves before Yahweh your God.	40 Le premier jour vous cueillerez des branches sur les plus beaux arbres: des branches de palmiers, des branches d’arbres à feuilles ou de saules de rivières. Et pendant sept jours vous ferez la fête devant Yahvé votre Dieu.
41 You wil celebrate a feast for Yahweh in this way for seven days every year. This is a perpetual lawfor your descendants. "You wil keep this feast in the seventh month.	41 Durant sept jours, chaque année, vous célébrerez cette fête de Yahvé: c’est une loi perpétuelle pour vous et vos descendants; vous la célébrerez le septième mois.
42 For seven days you will live in shelters: al the citizens of Israel wil live in shelters,	42 Pendant sept jours vous habiterez dans des huttes de feuillages; tous ceux qui sont nés en Israël habiteront dans des huttes.
43 so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in shelters when I brought them outof Egypt, I, Yahweh your God." '	43 Ainsi vos descendants sauront que je vous ai fait habiter dans des huttes lorsque je vous ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte: je suis Yahvé votre Dieu.”
44 Moses then promulgated Yahweh's solemn festivals to the Israelites.	44 C’est là ce que Moïse fit savoir aux Israélites à propos des fêtes de Yahvé.
