Leviticus 14

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'This is the law to be applied on the day of the purification of someone who has suffered from acontagious skin-disease. Such a person wil be taken to the priest,	2 « Ecco il rito del lebbroso, quando deve esser purificato. Sarà condotto al sacerdote,
3 and the priest wil go outside the camp. If he finds on examination that the person has recovered fromthe disease,	3 il quale, uscito fuori degli accampamenti e trovatolo guarito dalla lebbra,
4 he wil order the fol owing to be brought for his purification: two live birds that are clean, some cedar wood, scarlet material and hyssop.	4 ordinerà, a chi deve esser purificato, di offrire per sè due passerotti vivi, di quelli che si posson mangiare, un ramoscello di cedro, un nastro rosso, e dell'issopo.
5 He will then order one of the birds to be slaughtered in an earthenware pot over running water.	5 Ordinerà d'immolare uno dei passerotti in un vaso di terra, sopra l'acqua viva;
6 He will then take the live bird, the cedar wood, the scarlet material and the hyssop and dip all this(including the live bird) into the blood of the bird slaughtered over running water.	6 poi intingerà il passerotto vivo, il legno di cedro, il nastro rosso e l'issopo nel sangue del passerotto immolato,
7 He will then sprinkle the person to be purified of the skin-disease seven times, and having declared theperson clean, wil set the live bird free to fly off into the countryside.	7 ne aspergerà sette volte colui che deve essere purificato, affinchè sia legittimamente purificato, poi lascerà che il passerotto vivo se ne voli liberamente alla campagna.
8 The person who is being purified will then wash al clothing, shave off al hair, and wash, and wil thenbe clean. After this he will return to the camp, although he wil remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 Quest'uomo, dopo essersi lavate le vesti, si raderà tutti i peli del corpo, si laverà coll'acqua, e così purificato rientrerà negli accampamenti, dimorando però sette giorni fuori della sua tenda.
9 On the seventh day he wil shave off all his hair-head, beard and eyebrows; he wil shave off al hishair. After washing his clothing and his body he wil be clean.	9 Il settimo giorno si raderà i capelli della testa, la barba, le ciglia e tutti i peli del corpo. Lavate poi di nuovo le vesti e il corpo,
10 'On the eighth day he wil take two unblemished lambs, an unblemished ewe one year old, three-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil for the cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 l'ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza macchia, un'agnella d'un anno senza difetti, e tre decimi di fior di farina intrisa con olio pel sacrifizio e un log d'olio a parte.
11 The priest who is performing the purification will place the person who is being purified, with all hisofferings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.	11 Il sacerdote che fa la purificazione dell'uomo, dopo averlo presentato con tutte queste cose davanti al Signore, alla porta del Tabernacolo della testimonianza,
12 He wil then take one of the lambs and offer it as a sacrifice of reparation, as also the log of oil. Withthese he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.	12 prenderà uno degli agnelli e l'offrirà col log d'olio, per il delitto; offerte queste cose al Signore,
13 He wil then slaughter the lamb on that spot inside the holy place where the victims for the sacrificefor sin and for the burnt offering are slaughtered. This reparatory offering, like the sacrifice for sin, wil revert tothe priest: it is especially holy.	13 immolerà l'agnello dove si suole immolare l'ostia, per il peccato e l'olocausto, cioè nel luogo santo, perchè tanto l'ostia per il peccato, che quella per il delitto appartiene al sacerdote ed è sacrosanta.
14 The priest wil then take some blood of this sacrifice and put it on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbof the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is being purified.	14 Il sacerdote, preso del sangue della, vittima immolata per il delitto, lo metterà sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro, sui pollici della mano destra e del piede di colui che si purifica,
15 He wil then take the log of oil and pour a little into the hol ow of his left hand.	15 poi, versatosi del log d'olio nella sua mano sinistra,
16 He wil dip a finger of his right hand into the oil in the hollow of his left hand, and sprinkle the oil withhis finger seven times before Yahweh.	16 intingerà in quest'olio il suo dito destro e aspergerà sette volte davanti al Signore.
17 He wil then take some of the oil left in the hollow of his hand and put it on the lobe of the right ear,the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified, in addition to the bloodof the sacrifice of reparation.	17 L'olio rimastogli sulla mano sinistra lo verserà sull'estremità dell'orecchia destra, sopra i pollici della mano e del piede destro di colui che si purifica poi sopra il sangue sparso per il delitto
18 The rest of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he will put on the head of the person who is being purified.This is how the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for such a person before Yahweh.	18 e sulla testa dell'uomo.
19 'The priest wil then offer the sacrifice for sin, and perform the rite of expiation for uncleanness for theperson who is being purified. After this, he wil slaughter the burnt offering	19 Dopo aver pregato per lui davanti al Signore, e fatto il sacrifizio per il peccato, immolerà l'olocausto,
20 and offer this and the cereal offering on the altar. So, when the priest has performed the rite ofexpiation for him the person wil be clean.	20 e lo porrà sull'altare colle sue libazioni. Così l'uomo sarà legittimamente purificato.
21 'If he is poor and cannot afford al this, he need take only one lamb, the one for the sacrifice ofreparation, and this will be presented with the gesture of offering to perform the rite of expiation for him. And forthe cereal offering he wil only take one-tenth of wheaten flour mixed with oil, and the log of oil,	21 Ma se è povero e non può trovare le cose già dette, prenderà un agnello da offrirsi pel delitto, affinchè il sacerdote preghi per lui, un decimo di fior di farina intrisa con olio per un sacriti o, un log di olio,
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one for a sacrifice for sin and theother for the burnt offering.	22 due tortore o due colombini, dei quali uno per il peccato e l'altro per l'olocausto.
23 He wil bring these on the eighth day to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting beforeYahweh, for his purification.	23 L'ottavo giorno della sua purificazione li presenterà al sacerdote alla porta del Tabernacolo della testimonianza dinanzi al Signore.
24 The priest wil take the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation and the log of oil, and present them beforeYahweh with the gesture of offering.	24 Il sacerdote, preso l'agnello pel delitto e il log d'olio, li eleverà insieme;
25 He wil then slaughter the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation, take some of its blood and put it on thelobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is beingpurified.	25 poi, immolato l'agnello, metterà del sangue di esso sull'estremità dell'orecchia destra, sui pollici della mano e del piede destro di colui che si purifica;
26 He wil pour the oil into the hol ow of his left hand,	26 e versato poi una parte dell'olio nella sua sinistra,
27 and with his finger sprinkle the oil in the hol ow of his left hand seven times before Yahweh.	27 e intintovi un dito della destra, farà sette volte l'aspersione davanti al Signore;
28 He wil then put some of the oil on the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the bigtoe of the right foot of the person who is being purified, as he did with the blood of the sacrifice of reparation.	28 toccherà quindi l'estremità dell'orecchio destro, i pollici della mano e del piede destro di colui che si purifica, nel luogo dove fu messo il sangue sparso per il delitto;
29 The remainder of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he wil put on the head of the person who is beingpurified, thus performing the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh.	29 ma il resto dell'olio, che ha nella sua mano sinistra lo verserà sul capo dell'uomo che si purifica, per rendergli placato il Signore.
30 Of the two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- whatever he has been able to afford -- he wil offer	30 Offrirà anche le due tortore o i due colombini,
31 a sacrifice for sin with one, and with the other a burnt offering with a cereal offering -- whatever hehas been able to afford. This is how the priest will perform before Yahweh the rite of expiation for the person whois being purified.	31 colle loro libazioni: uno pel delitto, l'altro in olocausto.
32 'Such is the law concerning someone with a contagious skin-disease who cannot afford the means ofpurification.'	32 Questo è il sacrifizio del lebbroso che per la sua purificazione non può avere tutto quello richiesto ».
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	33 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne, dicendo:
34 'When you reach Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, if I infect a house with adisease in the country which you are to possess,	34 « Quando voi sarete entrati nella terra di Canaan, che io vi darò in possesso, se nelle case si trovasse la piaga della lebbra,
35 the owner wil come and inform the priest and say, "I have seen something like a skin-disease in thehouse."	35 Il padrone della casa andrà ad avvisarne il sacerdote e dirà: Mi sembra che nella mia casa ci sia come una piaga di lebbra.
36 The priest wil order the house to be emptied before he goes to examine the infection, or everything inthe house wil become unclean; after which, the priest wil go inside and examine the house;	36 Allora il sacerdote farà sgombrare la casa prima d'entrarvi a vedere se è lebbrosa, affinchè tutto quello che è in casa non diventi immondo. Entrato che sia poi a esaminare la lebbra della casa,
37 and if on examination he finds the wal s of the house pitted with reddish or greenish depressionswhich appear to be eating away the wall,	37 se vedrà nelle pareti delle cavità sfigurate da macchie pallide o rossicce più profonde del rimanente della parete,
38 the priest wil then go out of the house, to the door, and shut it up for seven days.	38 uscirà fuori della porta della casa e la farà subito chiudere per sette giorni.
39 On the seventh day, the priest will come back and if on examination he finds that the infection hasspread over the walls of the house,	39 Nel settimo giorno tornerà a esaminarla, e se trova cresciuta la lebbra,
40 he wil order the infected stones to be removed and thrown into some unclean place outside the town.	40 ordinerà che le pietre sulle quali è la lebbra sian cavate e gettate fuori della città in luogo immondo,
41 He wil then have all the inside of the house scraped, and the plaster that comes off will be emptied inan unclean place outside the town.	41 che la casa sia raschiata di dentro da ogni parte e la raschiatura si sparga fuori della città in luogo immondo,
42 The stones wil then be replaced with new ones and the house given a new coat of plaster.	42 che si rimettano altre pietre in luogo di quelle tolte, e si rivesta la casa con altro intonaco.
43 'If the infection spreads again after the stones have been removed and the house scraped andreplastered,	43 Ma se, cavate le pietre e raschiata la polvere e fatto il nuovo intonaco,
44 the priest wil come and examine it. If he finds that the infection has spread, this means that there is acontagious disease in the house: it is unclean.	44 il sacerdote entrandovi vede che la lebbra è ritornata e che le pareti sono sparse di macchie, la lebbra è radicata e la casa è immonda,
45 It must be pul ed down and the stones, woodwork and al the plaster be taken to an unclean placeoutside the town.	45 quindi la demoliranno subito e ne getteranno le pietre, il legname e tutta la polvere fuori della città in luogo immondo.
46 'Anyone who enters the house while it is closed wil be unclean until evening.	46 Chi entrerà in quella casa nel tempo che è chiusa, sarà immondo fino alla sera,
47 Anyone who sleeps there wil wash his clothes. Anyone who eats there will wash his clothes.	47 e chi vi dormirà o mungerà dovrà lavare le sue vesti.
48 But if the priest finds, when he comes to examine the infection, that it has not spread in the housesince it was plastered, he wil declare the house clean, for the infection is cured.	48 Se invece il sacerdote, entrando, vedrà che la lebbra nella casa nuovamente intonacata non è cresciuta, la dichiarerà pura, essendo divenuta sana.
49 'As a sacrifice for the defilement of the house, he wil take two birds, some cedar wood, scarletmaterial and hyssop.	49 Per la purificazione di essa prenderà due passerotti, un ramoscello di cedro, un nastro rosso e dell'issopo,
50 He wil slaughter one of the birds in an earthenware pot over running water.	50 e, dopo avere immolato uno dei passerotti in un vaso di terracotta, sopra l'acqua viva,
51 He wil then take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet material and the live bird, dip them into theblood of the slaughtered bird and into the running water and sprinkle the house seven times;	51 prenderà il ramoscello di cedro, l'issopo, il nastro rosso e il passerotto vivo, e, intinta ogni cosa nel sangue del passerotto immolato e nell'acqua viva, aspergerà sette volte la casa,
52 and after offering the sacrifice for the defilement of the house with the blood of the bird, the runningwater, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet material,	52 e la purificherà tanto col sangue del passerotto quanto coll'acqua viva, col passerotto vivo, col ramoscello di cedro, coll'issopo e col nastro rosso.
53 he wil set the live bird free to fly out of the town into the countryside. Once the rite of expiation hasbeen performed for the house in this way it wil be clean.	53 Lasciato poi che il passerotto se ne voli liberamente alla campagna, pregherà per la casa, la quale sarà cosi legittimamente purificata.
54 'Such is the law governing all kinds of skin-disease and tinea,	54 Questa è la legge intorno ad ogni sorta di lebbra e di piaga, dintorno alla lebbra delle vesti e delle case,
55 diseases of clothing and houses,	55 intorno alle cicatrici, all'eruzione di pustole, alle macchie lucenti, alle diverse mutazioni di colori,
56 swel ings, scabs and spots. It defines the occasions when things are unclean and when clean.	56 perché si possa discernere quando una cosa sia monda o immonda».
57 Such is the law on skin-diseases.'
