Leviticus 14

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 - Il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'This is the law to be applied on the day of the purification of someone who has suffered from acontagious skin-disease. Such a person wil be taken to the priest,	2 «Ecco il rito per dichiarar mondato un lebbroso. Verrà presentato al sacerdote,
3 and the priest wil go outside the camp. If he finds on examination that the person has recovered fromthe disease,	3 il quale, uscito dagli accampamenti, se troverà che la lebbra è sparita,
4 he wil order the fol owing to be brought for his purification: two live birds that are clean, some cedar wood, scarlet material and hyssop.	4 ordinerà a quegli che dev'esser purificato di provvedersi due uccellini vivi de' quali sia lecito mangiare, un ramoscello di cedro, un nastro rosso, e dell'issopo.
5 He will then order one of the birds to be slaughtered in an earthenware pot over running water.	5 Gli comanderà di svenare uno dei passerotti sopra un vaso di coccio contenente acqua viva;
6 He will then take the live bird, the cedar wood, the scarlet material and the hyssop and dip all this(including the live bird) into the blood of the bird slaughtered over running water.	6 l'altro poi vivo, insieme col ramo di cedro, il nastro rosso ed all'issopo, l'intingerà nel sangue del passerotto ucciso,
7 He will then sprinkle the person to be purified of the skin-disease seven times, and having declared theperson clean, wil set the live bird free to fly off into the countryside.	7 e con esso aspergerà sette volte quegli che dev'esser purificato, acciò divenga legittimamente mondo. Di poi lascerà libero il passero vivo, acciò se ne voli alla campagna.
8 The person who is being purified will then wash al clothing, shave off al hair, and wash, and wil thenbe clean. After this he will return to the camp, although he wil remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 Quell'uomo, lavatesi le vesti, si raderà tutti i peli del corpo, si laverà nell'acqua, e così purificato rientrerà nell'accampamento; ma per sette giorni rimarrà fuori della sua tenda.
9 On the seventh day he wil shave off all his hair-head, beard and eyebrows; he wil shave off al hishair. After washing his clothing and his body he wil be clean.	9 Al settimo giorno, si raderà i capelli, la barba, le sopracciglia, e i peli di tutto il corpo. Lavate di nuovo le vesti e la persona,
10 'On the eighth day he wil take two unblemished lambs, an unblemished ewe one year old, three-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil for the cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 l'ottavo giorno, prenderà due agnelli senza macchia, una pecora di un anno senza macchia, tre decimi di fior di farina cospersa d'olio per il sacrifizio, ed un sestario d'olio in più.
11 The priest who is performing the purification will place the person who is being purified, with all hisofferings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.	11 Il sacerdote che deve purificarlo, dopo averlo presentato insieme ai suoi doni davanti al Signore all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza,
12 He wil then take one of the lambs and offer it as a sacrifice of reparation, as also the log of oil. Withthese he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.	12 prenderà un agnello e l'offrirà per il delitto insieme al sestario d'olio; di poi, elevati tutti quei doni al Signore,
13 He wil then slaughter the lamb on that spot inside the holy place where the victims for the sacrificefor sin and for the burnt offering are slaughtered. This reparatory offering, like the sacrifice for sin, wil revert tothe priest: it is especially holy.	13 immolerà l'agnello nel luogo santo dove suol immolarsi la vittima per il peccato e l'olocausto. Poichè tanto per il peccato quanto per il delitto, la vittima spetta al sacerdote, ed è cosa santissima.
14 The priest wil then take some blood of this sacrifice and put it on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbof the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is being purified.	14 Prendendo poi il sacerdote del sangue della vittima immolata per il delitto, ne porrà all'estremità dell'orecchio destro di quegli che dev'esser mondato, e sui pollici della mano e del piede destro.
15 He wil then take the log of oil and pour a little into the hol ow of his left hand.	15 Prenderà poi dal sestario dell'olio nella mano sinistra,
16 He wil dip a finger of his right hand into the oil in the hollow of his left hand, and sprinkle the oil withhis finger seven times before Yahweh.	16 v'intingerà un dito della mano destra, e ne farà aspersione innanzi al Signore sette volte.
17 He wil then take some of the oil left in the hollow of his hand and put it on the lobe of the right ear,the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified, in addition to the bloodof the sacrifice of reparation.	17 L'olio rimastogli nella mano sinistra, lo verserà sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro di quegli che sta mondandosi, sui pollici della mano e del piede destro, dove il sangue è stato versato per il delitto,
18 The rest of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he will put on the head of the person who is being purified.This is how the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for such a person before Yahweh.	18 e sul capo di lui.
19 'The priest wil then offer the sacrifice for sin, and perform the rite of expiation for uncleanness for theperson who is being purified. After this, he wil slaughter the burnt offering	19 Indi pregherà per lui innanzi al Signore, e farà il sacrifizio per il peccato. Di poi immolerà l'olocausto,
20 and offer this and the cereal offering on the altar. So, when the priest has performed the rite ofexpiation for him the person wil be clean.	20 e lo porrà sull'altare con le sue libazioni. Allora quell'uomo sarà legittimamente mondato.
21 'If he is poor and cannot afford al this, he need take only one lamb, the one for the sacrifice ofreparation, and this will be presented with the gesture of offering to perform the rite of expiation for him. And forthe cereal offering he wil only take one-tenth of wheaten flour mixed with oil, and the log of oil,	21 Ma se quegli è povero, e non si può procurare le cose suddette, porterà in oblazione per il delitto un agnello acciò il sacerdote preghi per lui, un decimo di fior di farina cospersa d'olio, pel sacrifizio, un sestario d'olio,
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one for a sacrifice for sin and theother for the burnt offering.	22 e due tortore o due colombini: uno per il peccato, e l'altro in olocausto.
23 He wil bring these on the eighth day to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting beforeYahweh, for his purification.	23 L'ottavo giorno dalla sua purificazione, li offrirà al sacerdote, all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza, dinanzi al Signore.
24 The priest wil take the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation and the log of oil, and present them beforeYahweh with the gesture of offering.	24 Il sacerdote, preso l'agnello per il delitto, ed il sestario d'olio, li eleverà insieme.
25 He wil then slaughter the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation, take some of its blood and put it on thelobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is beingpurified.	25 Poi, immolato l'agnello metterà del suo sangue sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro, e sui pollici della mano e del piede destro di quegli che sta mondandosi.
26 He wil pour the oil into the hol ow of his left hand,	26 Prenderà quindi nella mano sinistra un poco d'olio,
27 and with his finger sprinkle the oil in the hol ow of his left hand seven times before Yahweh.	27 nel quale avendo intinto un dito della destra, ne farà aspersione sette volte davanti al Signore:
28 He wil then put some of the oil on the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the bigtoe of the right foot of the person who is being purified, as he did with the blood of the sacrifice of reparation.	28 poi ne toccherà l'estremità dell'orecchio destro di quegli che si purifica, ed i pollici della mano e del piede destro, là dov'è il sangue versato per il delitto.
29 The remainder of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he wil put on the head of the person who is beingpurified, thus performing the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh.	29 Il rimanente dell'olio che tiene nella mano sinistra, lo porrà sul capo del purificato, per rendergli placato il Signore.
30 Of the two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- whatever he has been able to afford -- he wil offer	30 Infine offrirà una tortora od un colombino
31 a sacrifice for sin with one, and with the other a burnt offering with a cereal offering -- whatever hehas been able to afford. This is how the priest will perform before Yahweh the rite of expiation for the person whois being purified.	31 per il delitto, e l'altro per l'olocausto con le sue libazioni.
32 'Such is the law concerning someone with a contagious skin-disease who cannot afford the means ofpurification.'	32 È questo il sacrifizio d'un lebbroso, che non può aver tutto quello che sarebbe richiesto per la sua purificazione.
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	33 Il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse:
34 'When you reach Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, if I infect a house with adisease in the country which you are to possess,	34 «Quando sarete entrati nella terra di Canaan che io vi darò per vostra possessione, se si manifesterà [sui muri] nelle case la piaga della lebbra,
35 the owner wil come and inform the priest and say, "I have seen something like a skin-disease in thehouse."	35 quegli del quale è la casa andrà ad annunziarlo al sacerdote, e dirà: - Mi sembra che ci sia nella mia casa come una piaga di lebbra. -
36 The priest wil order the house to be emptied before he goes to examine the infection, or everything inthe house wil become unclean; after which, the priest wil go inside and examine the house;	36 Il sacerdote darà ordine che venga portata via di casa tutta la roba, prima che v'entri egli per vedere se v'è lebbra; ciò perchè non abbia a diventar immondo tutto quello che è nella casa. Poi v'entrerà per esaminare questa lebbra della casa.
37 and if on examination he finds the wal s of the house pitted with reddish or greenish depressionswhich appear to be eating away the wall,	37 Se vedrà sulle sue pareti come delle fossette macchiate in biancastro o rossastro, più depresse della rimanente superficie,
38 the priest wil then go out of the house, to the door, and shut it up for seven days.	38 esca per la porta di casa, e subito la chiuda per sette giorni.
39 On the seventh day, the priest will come back and if on examination he finds that the infection hasspread over the walls of the house,	39 Tornato al giorno settimo, la esamini. Se vedrà che la lebbra è cresciuta,
40 he wil order the infected stones to be removed and thrown into some unclean place outside the town.	40 faccia cavare le pietre dov'è la lebbra, e gettarle via fuori della città in luogo immondo.
41 He wil then have all the inside of the house scraped, and the plaster that comes off will be emptied inan unclean place outside the town.	41 Faccia anche raschiare nell'interno la casa stessa per tutti i versi, e gettar la polvere della raschiatura in luogo immondo fuor di città.
42 The stones wil then be replaced with new ones and the house given a new coat of plaster.	42 Al posto poi delle pietre cavate, ne faccia metter altre, e con nuovo intonaco intonacare la casa.
43 'If the infection spreads again after the stones have been removed and the house scraped andreplastered,	43 Se dopo aver cavato quelle pietre, raschiate le muraglie e rifatto l'intonaco,
44 the priest wil come and examine it. If he finds that the infection has spread, this means that there is acontagious disease in the house: it is unclean.	44 il sacerdote rientrandoci vedrà tornata la lebbra, e le pareti sparse di macchie, quella lebbra è inveterata, e la casa è immonda.
45 It must be pul ed down and the stones, woodwork and al the plaster be taken to an unclean placeoutside the town.	45 Subito perciò la demoliranno, e le pietre, il legname e la polvere delle macerie sarà gettata fuori dell'abitato in luogo immondo.
46 'Anyone who enters the house while it is closed wil be unclean until evening.	46 Chi sarà entrato in quella casa quand'era chiusa, sarà immondo fino alla sera;
47 Anyone who sleeps there wil wash his clothes. Anyone who eats there will wash his clothes.	47 chi ci avrà dormito, o v'avrà mangiato qualcosa, si laverà le vesti.
48 But if the priest finds, when he comes to examine the infection, that it has not spread in the housesince it was plastered, he wil declare the house clean, for the infection is cured.	48 Se il sacerdote rientrandovi riscontrerà che la lebbra non è cresciuta in quella casa dopo che fu di nuovo intonacata, la dichiarerà pura perchè tornata sana.
49 'As a sacrifice for the defilement of the house, he wil take two birds, some cedar wood, scarletmaterial and hyssop.	49 Per la purificazione della medesima prenderà due passeri, un ramoscello di cedro, un nastro rosso, e dell'issopo.
50 He wil slaughter one of the birds in an earthenware pot over running water.	50 Immolato uno dei passeri sopra un vaso di coccio contenente acqua viva,
51 He wil then take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet material and the live bird, dip them into theblood of the slaughtered bird and into the running water and sprinkle the house seven times;	51 prenderà il ramoscello, l'issopo, il nastro rosso ed il passero vivo; li intingerà nel sangue del passero immolato e nell'acqua viva, e ne aspergerà sette volte la casa,
52 and after offering the sacrifice for the defilement of the house with the blood of the bird, the runningwater, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet material,	52 purificandola tanto col sangue del primo passero quanto con l'acqua viva, col passero vivo, col ramo di cedro, con l'issopo e col nastro rosso.
53 he wil set the live bird free to fly out of the town into the countryside. Once the rite of expiation hasbeen performed for the house in this way it wil be clean.	53 Quindi, dopo aver lasciato liberamente volarsene alla campagna quel passero, pregherà per quella casa, e questa sarà legittimamente mondata.
54 'Such is the law governing all kinds of skin-disease and tinea,	54 Questa è la legge relativa ad ogni specie di lebbra e di piaga,
55 diseases of clothing and houses,	55 alla lebbra delle vesti e delle case,
56 swel ings, scabs and spots. It defines the occasions when things are unclean and when clean.	56 alle cicatrici ed alle pustole che vengon fuori, alle chiazze lucide ed alle diverse apparenze di mutazioni di colore,
57 Such is the law on skin-diseases.'	57 acciò si possa sapere quando una cosa è monda o immonda».
