Leviticus 14

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'This is the law to be applied on the day of the purification of someone who has suffered from acontagious skin-disease. Such a person wil be taken to the priest,	2 Questo è il rito della purificazione del lebbroso: Egli sarà condotto al sacerdote:
3 and the priest wil go outside the camp. If he finds on examination that the person has recovered fromthe disease,	3 E questi uscito fuor degli alloggiamenti, quando avrà trovato che la lebbra sia guarita,
4 he wil order the fol owing to be brought for his purification: two live birds that are clean, some cedar wood, scarlet material and hyssop.	4 Ordinerà a colui, che debb'esser purificato, che offerisca per sé due passerotti vivi, i quali è lecito di mangiare, e prenda del legno di cedro, o della lana porporina, e dell’issopo:
5 He will then order one of the birds to be slaughtered in an earthenware pot over running water.	5 E comanderà, che uno de’ passerotti sia immolato in un vaso di terra sopra l'acqua viva:
6 He will then take the live bird, the cedar wood, the scarlet material and the hyssop and dip all this(including the live bird) into the blood of the bird slaughtered over running water.	6 E col sangue del passerotto immolato aspergerà l’altro, che è vivo, e il legno di cedro, e la lana porporina, e l’issopo.
7 He will then sprinkle the person to be purified of the skin-disease seven times, and having declared theperson clean, wil set the live bird free to fly off into the countryside.	7 E col medesimo aspergerà sette volte colui che dee mondarsi, affinché sia rettamente purificato: e lascerà in libertà il passerotto, che sen voli alla campagna.
8 The person who is being purified will then wash al clothing, shave off al hair, and wash, and wil thenbe clean. After this he will return to the camp, although he wil remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 E l'uomo avendo lavate le sue vesti si raderà tutti i peli del corpo, e si laverà nell’acqua, e purificato rientrerà negli alloggiamenti con questo però, che stia sette giorni fuora del suo tabernacolo;
9 On the seventh day he wil shave off all his hair-head, beard and eyebrows; he wil shave off al hishair. After washing his clothing and his body he wil be clean.	9 E il settimo giorno raderà i capelli della testa, e la barba, e le ciglia, e tutti i peli del corpo: e lavate di nuovo le vesti e il corpo,
10 'On the eighth day he wil take two unblemished lambs, an unblemished ewe one year old, three-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil for the cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 L'ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza macchia, e una pecorella dell'anno senza macchia, e tre decimi di farina aspersa d'olio pel sacrifizio, e un log d'olio a parte.
11 The priest who is performing the purification will place the person who is being purified, with all hisofferings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.	11 E quando il sacerdote che dee purificare quell'uomo lo averà presentato insieme con tutte queste cose dinanzi al Signore alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio,
12 He wil then take one of the lambs and offer it as a sacrifice of reparation, as also the log of oil. Withthese he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.	12 Prenderà l'agnello, e l’offerirà per il delitto insieme col log d'olio: e offerto tutto questo al Signore,
13 He wil then slaughter the lamb on that spot inside the holy place where the victims for the sacrificefor sin and for the burnt offering are slaughtered. This reparatory offering, like the sacrifice for sin, wil revert tothe priest: it is especially holy.	13 Immolerà l'agnello, dove suol immolarsi l’ostia per il peccato, e l’olocausto, vale a dire nel luogo santo. Perocché come quella per il peccato, così quella per il delitto appartiene al sacerdote: ella è sacrosanta.
14 The priest wil then take some blood of this sacrifice and put it on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbof the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is being purified.	14 E il sacerdote preso del sangue dell'ostia immolata per il delitto, ne stillerà sulla punta dell'orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e su' pollici della destra mano, e del piede:
15 He wil then take the log of oil and pour a little into the hol ow of his left hand.	15 E del log d'olio ne verserà sulla sua sinistra,
16 He wil dip a finger of his right hand into the oil in the hollow of his left hand, and sprinkle the oil withhis finger seven times before Yahweh.	16 E in esso intingerà il suo dito destro, e ne farà sette aspersioni dinanzi al Signore.
17 He wil then take some of the oil left in the hollow of his hand and put it on the lobe of the right ear,the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified, in addition to the bloodof the sacrifice of reparation.	17 Quello poi che rimarrà dell'olio sulla mano sinistra, lo verserà sull'estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e sopra i pollici della mano, e del piè destro, e sopra il sangue sparso per il delitto,
18 The rest of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he will put on the head of the person who is being purified.This is how the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for such a person before Yahweh.	18 E sulla testa dell’uomo:
19 'The priest wil then offer the sacrifice for sin, and perform the rite of expiation for uncleanness for theperson who is being purified. After this, he wil slaughter the burnt offering	19 E farà orazione per lui dinanzi al Signore, e farà sacrifizio per il peccato: allora poi immolerà l’olocausto,
20 and offer this and the cereal offering on the altar. So, when the priest has performed the rite ofexpiation for him the person wil be clean.	20 E Io porrà sull’altare colle sue libagioni: e l’uomo sarà rettamente mondato.
21 'If he is poor and cannot afford al this, he need take only one lamb, the one for the sacrifice ofreparation, and this will be presented with the gesture of offering to perform the rite of expiation for him. And forthe cereal offering he wil only take one-tenth of wheaten flour mixed with oil, and the log of oil,	21 Che se quegli è povero, e non è capace di trovare le cose che si sono dette, per il delitto prenderà un agnello da offerirsi, affinché il sacerdote preghi per lui, e una decima di farina aspersa d'olio pel sacrifizio, e un log d'olio,
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one for a sacrifice for sin and theother for the burnt offering.	22 E due tortore, o due colombini, de' quali uno sia per il peccato, l'altro in olocausto:
23 He wil bring these on the eighth day to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting beforeYahweh, for his purification.	23 E gli offerirà l'ottavo giorno di sua purificazione al sacerdote alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio dinanzi al Signore:
24 The priest wil take the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation and the log of oil, and present them beforeYahweh with the gesture of offering.	24 E il sacerdote preso l’agnello per il delitto, e il log d'olio, gli eleverà insieme:
25 He wil then slaughter the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation, take some of its blood and put it on thelobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is beingpurified.	25 E immolato l'agnello, col sangue di esso intriderà la punta dell'orecchio destro di lui, che si purifica, e i pollici della mano di lui, e del piede destro:
26 He wil pour the oil into the hol ow of his left hand,	26 E verserà una parte dell'olio sulla sua sinistra:
27 and with his finger sprinkle the oil in the hol ow of his left hand seven times before Yahweh.	27 E intintovi un dito della sua destra, ne farà sette volte l’aspersione dinanzi al Signore:
28 He wil then put some of the oil on the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the bigtoe of the right foot of the person who is being purified, as he did with the blood of the sacrifice of reparation.	28 E intriderà l'estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e i pollici della mano, e del piè destro nel luogo, dove fu sparso il sangue per il delitto.
29 The remainder of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he wil put on the head of the person who is beingpurified, thus performing the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh.	29 E il rimanente dell'olio, ch’egli ha nella sinistra mano, lo verserà sul capo dell’uomo che si purifica, affin di rendere a lui placato il Signore.
30 Of the two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- whatever he has been able to afford -- he wil offer	30 E offerirà le due tortorelle, o i due colombini,
31 a sacrifice for sin with one, and with the other a burnt offering with a cereal offering -- whatever hehas been able to afford. This is how the priest will perform before Yahweh the rite of expiation for the person whois being purified.	31 Uno per il delitto, e l'altro in olocausto colle loro libagioni.
32 'Such is the law concerning someone with a contagious skin-disease who cannot afford the means ofpurification.'	32 Questo è il sacrifizio del lebbroso, il quale non può avere tutto quello che vi vorrebbe per la sua purificazione.
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	33 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e ad Aronne, e disse:
34 'When you reach Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, if I infect a house with adisease in the country which you are to possess,	34 Quando voi sarete entrati nella terra di Chanaan, della quale io darovvi il dominio, se il flagello della lebbra si sarà attaccato a una casa,
35 the owner wil come and inform the priest and say, "I have seen something like a skin-disease in thehouse."	35 Anderà il padrone della casa a darne parte al sacerdote, e dirà: Parmi, che nella mia casa vi sia qualche cosa di simile al mal della lebbra.
36 The priest wil order the house to be emptied before he goes to examine the infection, or everything inthe house wil become unclean; after which, the priest wil go inside and examine the house;	36 E quegli prima d'entrarvi per visitarla darà ordine, che dalla casa sieno portate altrove tutte le cose che vi son dentro, affinché tutto quello che è in casa, non diventi immondo, e poi vi entrerà per esaminare la lebbra:
37 and if on examination he finds the wal s of the house pitted with reddish or greenish depressionswhich appear to be eating away the wall,	37 E se vede nelle parti come delle fossette bruttamente pallide, e rossiccie, e più incavate del rimanente della superficie,
38 the priest wil then go out of the house, to the door, and shut it up for seven days.	38 Uscirà fuor della porta della casa, e immediatamente la chiuderà per sette giorni.
39 On the seventh day, the priest will come back and if on examination he finds that the infection hasspread over the walls of the house,	39 E tornato il settimo giorno la esaminerà: se trova che la lebbra sia cresciuta,
40 he wil order the infected stones to be removed and thrown into some unclean place outside the town.	40 Ordinerà, che se ne smurino le pietre, sulle quali è la lebbra, e fuor della città si gettino in luogo immondo:
41 He wil then have all the inside of the house scraped, and the plaster that comes off will be emptied inan unclean place outside the town.	41 La casa poi si scalcini di dentro da ogni parte, e i calcinacci si spargano fuori della città in luogo immondo;
42 The stones wil then be replaced with new ones and the house given a new coat of plaster.	42 E che in luogo di quelle che furon levate, si rimettano altre pietre, e s'intonachi di bel nuovo la casa.
43 'If the infection spreads again after the stones have been removed and the house scraped andreplastered,	43 Ma se dopo averne smurate le pietre, e averla scalcinata, e intonacata di nuovo,
44 the priest wil come and examine it. If he finds that the infection has spread, this means that there is acontagious disease in the house: it is unclean.	44 Il sacerdote in entrandovi vede, che la lebbra è ritornata, e le pareti sono sparse di macchie, la lebbra è pertinace, e la casa è immonda:
45 It must be pul ed down and the stones, woodwork and al the plaster be taken to an unclean placeoutside the town.	45 E subito l’atterreranno, e le pietre, e il legname, e tutti i calcinacci li getteranno fuor della città in luogo immondo.
46 'Anyone who enters the house while it is closed wil be unclean until evening.	46 Chi entrerà nella casa nel tempo che è chiusa, sarà immondo fino alla sera:
47 Anyone who sleeps there wil wash his clothes. Anyone who eats there will wash his clothes.	47 E chi vi dormirà, o vi mangerà, laverà le sue vesti.
48 But if the priest finds, when he comes to examine the infection, that it has not spread in the housesince it was plastered, he wil declare the house clean, for the infection is cured.	48 Che se il sacerdote entrando nella casa dopo che fu nuovamente intonacata, troverà non esser cresciuta la lebbra, la purificherà, e la dichiarerà sana:
49 'As a sacrifice for the defilement of the house, he wil take two birds, some cedar wood, scarletmaterial and hyssop.	49 E per la purificazione di essa prenderà due passerotti, e un legno di cedro, e lana porporina, e issopo:
50 He wil slaughter one of the birds in an earthenware pot over running water.	50 E dopo di aver immolato uno de' passerotti in un vaso di terra sopra acqua viva,
51 He wil then take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet material and the live bird, dip them into theblood of the slaughtered bird and into the running water and sprinkle the house seven times;	51 Prenderà il legno di cedro, e l’issopo, e la lana porporina, e il passerotto vivo, e intingerà ogni cosa nel sangue del passerotto immolato, e nell'acqua viva, e farà sette volte l'aspersione alla casa,
52 and after offering the sacrifice for the defilement of the house with the blood of the bird, the runningwater, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet material,	52 E se ne farà la purificazione tanto col sangue del passerotto, quanto coll’aqua viva, e col passerotto vivo, e col legno di cedro, e coll’issopo, e colla lana porporina;
53 he wil set the live bird free to fly out of the town into the countryside. Once the rite of expiation hasbeen performed for the house in this way it wil be clean.	53 E messo in libertà il passerotto, che se ne voli alla campagna, farà orazione per la casa, e sarà legittimamente mondata.
54 'Such is the law governing all kinds of skin-disease and tinea,	54 Questa è la legge sopra ogni sorta di lebbra, e sopra le piaghe della lebbra,
55 diseases of clothing and houses,	55 E sopra quella delle vesti, e delle case,
56 swel ings, scabs and spots. It defines the occasions when things are unclean and when clean.	56 E delle cicatrici, e delle pustole, che scappan fuori, e delle macchie lucenti e delle diverse mutazioni di colori,
57 Such is the law on skin-diseases.'	57 Affinché possa sapersi, quando una cosa sia monda, o immonda.
