Leviticus 14

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 وكلم الرب موسى قائلا
2 'This is the law to be applied on the day of the purification of someone who has suffered from acontagious skin-disease. Such a person wil be taken to the priest,	2 هذه تكون شريعة الابرص يوم طهره يؤتى به الى الكاهن.
3 and the priest wil go outside the camp. If he finds on examination that the person has recovered fromthe disease,	3 ويخرج الكاهن الى خارج المحلّة فان رأى الكاهن واذا ضربة البرص قد برئت من الابرص
4 he wil order the fol owing to be brought for his purification: two live birds that are clean, some cedar wood, scarlet material and hyssop.	4 يأمر الكاهن ان يؤخذ للمتطهّر عصفوران حيّان طاهران وخشب ارز وقرمز وزوفا.
5 He will then order one of the birds to be slaughtered in an earthenware pot over running water.	5 ويامر الكاهن ان يذبح العصفور الواحد في اناء خزف على ماء حيّ.
6 He will then take the live bird, the cedar wood, the scarlet material and the hyssop and dip all this(including the live bird) into the blood of the bird slaughtered over running water.	6 اما العصفور الحيّ فياخذه مع خشب الارز والقرمز والزوفا ويغمسها مع العصفور الحي في دم العصفور المذبوح على الماء الحيًّ
7 He will then sprinkle the person to be purified of the skin-disease seven times, and having declared theperson clean, wil set the live bird free to fly off into the countryside.	7 وينضح على المتطهر من البرص سبع مرات فيطهره ثم يطلق العصفور الحي على وجه الصحراء.
8 The person who is being purified will then wash al clothing, shave off al hair, and wash, and wil thenbe clean. After this he will return to the camp, although he wil remain outside his tent for seven days.	8 فيغسل المتطهّر ثيابه ويحلق كل شعره ويستحمّ بماء فيطهر. ثم يدخل المحلّة لكن يقيم خارج خيمته سبعة ايام.
9 On the seventh day he wil shave off all his hair-head, beard and eyebrows; he wil shave off al hishair. After washing his clothing and his body he wil be clean.	9 وفي اليوم السابع يحلق كل شعره. راسه ولحيته وحواجب عينيه وجميع شعره يحلق. ويغسل ثيابه ويرحض جسده بماء فيطهر.
10 'On the eighth day he wil take two unblemished lambs, an unblemished ewe one year old, three-tenths of wheaten flour mixed with oil for the cereal offering, and one log of oil.	10 ثم في اليوم الثامن ياخذ خروفين صحيحين ونعجة واحدة حولّية صحيحة وثلاثة اعشار دقيق تقدمة ملتوتة بزيت ولجّ زيت.
11 The priest who is performing the purification will place the person who is being purified, with all hisofferings, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.	11 فيوقف الكاهن المطهّر الانسان المتطهّر واياها امام الرب لدى باب خيمة الاجتماع.
12 He wil then take one of the lambs and offer it as a sacrifice of reparation, as also the log of oil. Withthese he wil make the gesture of offering before Yahweh.	12 ثم يأخذ الكاهن الخروف الواحد ويقربه ذبيحة اثم مع لجّ الزيت. يرددهما ترديدا امام الرب.
13 He wil then slaughter the lamb on that spot inside the holy place where the victims for the sacrificefor sin and for the burnt offering are slaughtered. This reparatory offering, like the sacrifice for sin, wil revert tothe priest: it is especially holy.	13 ويذبح الخروف في الموضع الذي يذبح فيه ذبيحة الخطية والمحرقة في المكان المقدس. لان ذبيحة الاثم كذبيحة الخطية للكاهن. انها قدس اقداس.
14 The priest wil then take some blood of this sacrifice and put it on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbof the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is being purified.	14 ويأخذ الكاهن من دم ذبيحة الاثم ويجعل الكاهن على شحمة اذن المتطهّر اليمنى وعلى ابهام يده اليمنى وعلى ابهام رجله اليمنى.
15 He wil then take the log of oil and pour a little into the hol ow of his left hand.	15 ويأخذ الكاهن من لجّ الزيت ويصبّ في كف الكاهن اليسرى
16 He wil dip a finger of his right hand into the oil in the hollow of his left hand, and sprinkle the oil withhis finger seven times before Yahweh.	16 ويغمس الكاهن اصبعه اليمنى في الزيت الذي على كفه اليسرى وينضح من الزيت باصبعه سبع مرات امام الرب.
17 He wil then take some of the oil left in the hollow of his hand and put it on the lobe of the right ear,the thumb of the right hand, and the big toe of the right foot of the person being purified, in addition to the bloodof the sacrifice of reparation.	17 ومما فضل من الزيت الذي في كفّه يجعل الكاهن على شحمة اذن المتطهّر اليمنى وعلى ابهام يده اليمنى وعلى ابهام رجله اليمنى على دم ذبيحة الاثم.
18 The rest of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he will put on the head of the person who is being purified.This is how the priest wil perform the rite of expiation for such a person before Yahweh.	18 والفاضل من الزيت الذي في كفّ الكاهن يجعله على راس المتطهّر ويكفّر عنه الكاهن امام الرب.
19 'The priest wil then offer the sacrifice for sin, and perform the rite of expiation for uncleanness for theperson who is being purified. After this, he wil slaughter the burnt offering	19 ثم يعمل الكاهن ذبيحة الخطية ويكفّر عن المتطهّر من نجاسته. ثم يذبح المحرقة
20 and offer this and the cereal offering on the altar. So, when the priest has performed the rite ofexpiation for him the person wil be clean.	20 ويصعد الكاهن المحرقة والتقدمة على المذبح ويكفّر عنه الكاهن فيطهر
21 'If he is poor and cannot afford al this, he need take only one lamb, the one for the sacrifice ofreparation, and this will be presented with the gesture of offering to perform the rite of expiation for him. And forthe cereal offering he wil only take one-tenth of wheaten flour mixed with oil, and the log of oil,	21 لكن ان كان فقيرا ولا تنال يده يأخذ خروفا واحدا ذبيحة اثم لترديد تكفيرا عنه وعشرا واحدا من دقيق ملتوت بزيت لتقدمة ولجّ زيت
22 and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one for a sacrifice for sin and theother for the burnt offering.	22 ويمامتين او فرخي حمام كما تنال يده فيكون الواحد ذبيحة خطية والآخر محرقة.
23 He wil bring these on the eighth day to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting beforeYahweh, for his purification.	23 وياتي بها في اليوم الثامن لطهره الى الكاهن الى باب خيمة الاجتماع امام الرب.
24 The priest wil take the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation and the log of oil, and present them beforeYahweh with the gesture of offering.	24 فيأخذ الكاهن كبش الاثم ولجّ الزيت ويرددهما الكاهن ترديدا امام الرب.
25 He wil then slaughter the lamb for the sacrifice of reparation, take some of its blood and put it on thelobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the big toe of the right foot of the person who is beingpurified.	25 ثم يذبح كبش الاثم وياخذ الكاهن من دم ذبيحة الاثم ويجعل على شحمة اذن المتطهّر اليمنى وعلى ابهام يده اليمنى وعلى ابهام رجله اليمنى.
26 He wil pour the oil into the hol ow of his left hand,	26 ويصبّ الكاهن من الزيت في كفّ الكاهن اليسرى
27 and with his finger sprinkle the oil in the hol ow of his left hand seven times before Yahweh.	27 وينضح الكاهن باصبعه اليمنى من الزيت الذي في كفّه اليسرى سبع مرات امام الرب.
28 He wil then put some of the oil on the lobe of the right ear, the thumb of the right hand and the bigtoe of the right foot of the person who is being purified, as he did with the blood of the sacrifice of reparation.	28 ويجعل الكاهن من الزيت الذي في كفّه على شحمة اذن المتطهّر اليمنى وعلى ابهام يده اليمنى وعلى ابهام رجله اليمنى على موضع دم ذبيحة الاثم.
29 The remainder of the oil in the hol ow of his hand he wil put on the head of the person who is beingpurified, thus performing the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh.	29 والفاضل من الزيت الذي في كف الكاهن يجعله على راس المتطهّر تكفيرا عنه امام الرب.
30 Of the two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- whatever he has been able to afford -- he wil offer	30 ثم يعمل واحدة من اليمامتين او من فرخي الحمام مما تنال يده
31 a sacrifice for sin with one, and with the other a burnt offering with a cereal offering -- whatever hehas been able to afford. This is how the priest will perform before Yahweh the rite of expiation for the person whois being purified.	31 ما تنال يده. الواحد ذبيحة خطية والآخر محرقة مع التقدمة ويكفّر الكاهن عن المتطهّر امام الرب.
32 'Such is the law concerning someone with a contagious skin-disease who cannot afford the means ofpurification.'	32 هذه شريعة الذي فيه ضربة برص الذي لا تنال يده في تطهيره
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	33 وكلم الرب موسى وهرون قائلا
34 'When you reach Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, if I infect a house with adisease in the country which you are to possess,	34 متى جئتم الى ارض كنعان التي اعطيكم ملكا وجعلت ضربة برص في بيت في ارض ملككم.
35 the owner wil come and inform the priest and say, "I have seen something like a skin-disease in thehouse."	35 يأتي الذي له البيت ويخبر الكاهن قائلا قد ظهر لي شبه ضربة في البيت.
36 The priest wil order the house to be emptied before he goes to examine the infection, or everything inthe house wil become unclean; after which, the priest wil go inside and examine the house;	36 فيأمر الكاهن ان يفرغوا البيت قبل دخول الكاهن ليرى الضربة لئلا يتنجس كل ما في البيت وبعد ذلك يدخل الكاهن ليرى البيت.
37 and if on examination he finds the wal s of the house pitted with reddish or greenish depressionswhich appear to be eating away the wall,	37 فاذا رأى الضربة واذا الضربة في حيطان البيت نقر ضاربة الى الخضرة او الى الحمرة ومنظرها اعمق من الحائط
38 the priest wil then go out of the house, to the door, and shut it up for seven days.	38 يخرج الكاهن من البيت الى باب البيت ويغلق البيت سبعة ايام.
39 On the seventh day, the priest will come back and if on examination he finds that the infection hasspread over the walls of the house,	39 فاذا رجع الكاهن في اليوم السابع ورأى واذا الضربة قد امتدّت في حيطان البيت
40 he wil order the infected stones to be removed and thrown into some unclean place outside the town.	40 يأمر الكاهن ان يقلعوا الحجارة التي فيها الضربة ويطرحوها خارج المدينة في مكان نجس.
41 He wil then have all the inside of the house scraped, and the plaster that comes off will be emptied inan unclean place outside the town.	41 ويقشر البيت من داخل حواليه ويطرحون التراب الذي يقشرونه خارج المدينة في مكان نجس.
42 The stones wil then be replaced with new ones and the house given a new coat of plaster.	42 ويأخذون حجارة اخرى ويدخلونها في مكان الحجارة ويأخذ ترابا آخر ويطيّن البيت.
43 'If the infection spreads again after the stones have been removed and the house scraped andreplastered,	43 فان رجعت الضربة وافرخت في البيت بعد قلع الحجارة وقشر البيت وتطيينه
44 the priest wil come and examine it. If he finds that the infection has spread, this means that there is acontagious disease in the house: it is unclean.	44 وأتى الكاهن ورأى واذا الضربة قد امتدّت في البيت فهي برص مفسد في البيت. انه نجس.
45 It must be pul ed down and the stones, woodwork and al the plaster be taken to an unclean placeoutside the town.	45 فيهدم البيت حجارته واخشابه وكل تراب البيت ويخرجها الى خارج المدينة الى مكان نجس.
46 'Anyone who enters the house while it is closed wil be unclean until evening.	46 ومن دخل الى البيت في كل ايام انغلاقه يكون نجسا الى المساء.
47 Anyone who sleeps there wil wash his clothes. Anyone who eats there will wash his clothes.	47 ومن نام في البيت يغسل ثيابه ومن اكل في البيت يغسل ثيابه.
48 But if the priest finds, when he comes to examine the infection, that it has not spread in the housesince it was plastered, he wil declare the house clean, for the infection is cured.	48 لكن ان اتى الكاهن ورأى واذا الضربة لم تمتد في البيت بعد تطيين البيت يطهر الكاهن البيت. لان الضربة قد برئت.
49 'As a sacrifice for the defilement of the house, he wil take two birds, some cedar wood, scarletmaterial and hyssop.	49 فياخذ لتطهير البيت عصفورين وخشب ارز وقرمزا زوفا.
50 He wil slaughter one of the birds in an earthenware pot over running water.	50 ويذبح العصفور الواحد في اناء خزف على ماء حيّ
51 He wil then take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet material and the live bird, dip them into theblood of the slaughtered bird and into the running water and sprinkle the house seven times;	51 وياخذ خشب الارز والزوفا والقرمز والعصفور الحي ويغمسها في دم العصفور المذبوح وفي الماء الحي وينضح البيت سبع مرات
52 and after offering the sacrifice for the defilement of the house with the blood of the bird, the runningwater, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet material,	52 ويطهر البيت بدم العصفور وبالماء الحي وبالعصفور الحي وبخشب الارز وبالزوفا وبالقرمز.
53 he wil set the live bird free to fly out of the town into the countryside. Once the rite of expiation hasbeen performed for the house in this way it wil be clean.	53 ثم يطلق العصفور الحي الى خارج المدينة على وجه الصحراء ويكفّر عن البيت فيطهر
54 'Such is the law governing all kinds of skin-disease and tinea,	54 هذه هي الشريعة لكل ضربة من البرص وللقرع
55 diseases of clothing and houses,	55 ولبرص الثوب والبيت
56 swel ings, scabs and spots. It defines the occasions when things are unclean and when clean.	56 وللناتئ وللقوباء وللمعة
57 Such is the law on skin-diseases.'	57 للتعليم في يوم النجاسة ويوم الطهارة. هذه شريعة البرص
