Psalms 94

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 God of vengeance, Yahweh, God of vengeance, shine forth!	1 يا اله النقمات يا رب يا اله النقمات اشرق‎.
2 Arise, judge of the world, give back the proud what they deserve!	2 ‎ارتفع يا ديان الارض. جاز صنيع المستكبرين‎.
3 How long are the wicked, Yahweh, how long are the wicked to triumph?	3 ‎حتى متى الخطاة يا رب حتى متى الخطاة يشمتون‎.
4 They bluster and boast, they flaunt themselves, all the evil-doers.	4 ‎يبقون يتكلمون بوقاحة. كل فاعلي الاثم يفتخرون‎.
5 They crush your people, Yahweh, they oppress your heritage,	5 ‎يسحقون شعبك يا رب ويذلون ميراثك‎.
6 they murder the widow and the stranger, bring the orphan to a violent death.	6 ‎يقتلون الارملة والغريب ويميتون اليتيم‎.
7 They say, 'Yahweh is not looking, the God of Jacob is taking no notice.'	7 ‎ويقولون الرب لا يبصر واله يعقوب لا يلاحظ
8 Take notice yourselves, you coarsest of people! Fools, when wil you learn some sense?	8 افهموا ايها البلداء في الشعب ويا جهلاء متى تعقلون‎.
9 Shal he who implanted the ear not hear, he who fashioned the eye not see?	9 ‎الغارس الاذن ألا يسمع. الصانع العين ألا يبصر‎.
10 Shal he who instructs nations not punish? Yahweh, the teacher of al people,	10 ‎المؤدب الامم ألا يبكت. المعلم الانسان معرفة‎.
11 knows human plans and how insipid they are.	11 ‎الرب يعرف افكار الانسان انها باطلة‎.
12 How blessed are those you instruct, Yahweh, whom you teach by means of your law,	12 ‎طوبى للرجل الذي تؤدبه يا رب وتعلمه من شريعتك
13 to give them respite in evil times, til a pit is dug for the wicked.	13 لتريحه من ايام الشر حتى تحفر للشرير حفرة‎.
14 Yahweh will not abandon his people, he wil not desert his heritage;	14 ‎لان الرب لا يرفض شعبه ولا يترك ميراثه‎.
15 for judgement will again become saving justice, and in its wake al upright hearts will fol ow.	15 ‎لانه الى العدل يرجع القضاء وعلى اثره كل مستقيمي القلوب
16 Who rises up on my side against the wicked? Who stands firm on my side against al evil-doers?	16 من يقوم لي على المسيئين. من يقف لي ضد فعلة الاثم‎.
17 If Yahweh did not come to my help, I should soon find myself dwel ing in the silence.	17 ‎لولا ان الرب معيني لسكنت نفسي سريعا ارض السكوت‎.
18 I need only say, 'I am slipping,' for your faithful love, Yahweh, to support me;	18 ‎اذ قلت قد زلت قدمي فرحمتك يا رب تعضدني‎.
19 however great the anxiety of my heart, your consolations soothe me.	19 ‎عند كثرة همومي في داخلي تعزياتك تلذذ نفسي‎.
20 Are you partner to a destructive court, that gives disorder the status of law?	20 ‎هل يعاهدك كرسي المفاسد المختلق اثما على فريضة‎.
21 They make an attack on the life of the upright, and condemn innocent blood.	21 ‎يزدحمون على نفس الصدّيق ويحكمون على دم زكي‎.
22 No! Yahweh is a stronghold to me, my God is my rock of refuge.	22 ‎فكان الرب لي صرحا والهي صخرة ملجإي
23 He turns back their guilt on themselves, annihilates them for their wickedness, he annihilates them,Yahweh our God.	23 ويرد عليهم اثمهم وبشرهم يفنيهم. يفنيهم الرب الهنا
