Psalms 9

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 [For the choirmaster On oboe and harp Psalm Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with my whole heart, Irecount al your wonders,	1 لامام المغنين. على موت الابن. مزمور لداود احمد الرب بكل قلبي. احدث بجميع عجائبك‎.
2 I rejoice and delight in you, I sing to your name, Most High.	2 ‎افرح وابتهج بك ارنم لاسمك ايها العلي‎.
3 My enemies are in retreat, they stumble and perish at your presence,	3 ‎عند رجوع اعدائي الى خلف يسقطون ويهلكون من قدام وجهك‎.
4 for you have given fair judgement in my favour, seated on your throne as upright judge.	4 ‎لانك اقمت حقي ودعواي. جلست على الكرسي قاضيا عادلا‎.
5 You have rebuked the nations, destroyed the wicked, blotted out their name for ever and ever;	5 ‎انتهرت الامم. اهلكت الشرير. محوت اسمهم الى الدهر والابد‎.
6 the enemy is wiped out -- mere ruins for ever -- you have annihilated their cities, their memory hasperished. See,	6 ‎العدو تم خرابه الى الابد. وهدمت مدنا. باد ذكره نفسه‎.
7 Yahweh is enthroned for ever, keeping his throne firm for judgement;	7 ‎اما الرب فالى الدهر يجلس. ثبّت للقضاء كرسيه
8 he wil himself judge the world in uprightness, wil give a true verdict on the nations.	8 وهو يقضي للمسكونة بالعدل. يدين الشعوب بالاستقامة‎.
9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!	9 ‎ويكون الرب ملجأ للمنسحق. ملجأ في ازمنة الضيق‎.
10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.	10 ‎ويتكل عليك العارفون اسمك. لانك لم تترك طالبيك يا رب
11 Sing to Yahweh who dwel s in Zion, tel the nations his mighty deeds,	11 رنموا للرب الساكن في صهيون. اخبروا بين الشعوب بافعاله‎.
12 for the avenger of blood does not forget them, he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.	12 ‎لانه مطالب بالدماء. ذكرهم. لم ينس صراخ المساكين
13 Have pity on me, Yahweh, see my affliction, pull me back from the gates of death,	13 ارحمني يا رب. انظر مذلتي من مبغضيّ يا رافعي من ابواب الموت‎.
14 that I may recount al your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion and rejoice in your salvation.	14 ‎لكي احدث بكل تسابيحك في ابواب ابنة صهيون مبتهجا بخلاصك
15 The nations have fal en into the trap they made, their feet caught in the snare they laid.	15 تورطت الامم في الحفرة التي عملوها. في الشبكة التي اخفوها انتشبت ارجلهم‎.
16 Yahweh has made himself known, given judgement, he has ensnared the wicked in the work of theirown hands.Muted music Pause	16 ‎معروف هو الرب. قضاء امضى. الشرير يعلق بعمل يديه. ضرب الاوتار. سلاه
17 May the wicked turn away to Sheol, al the nations forgetful of God.	17 الاشرار يرجعون الى الهاوية. كل الامم الناسين الله‎.
18 For the needy is not forgotten for ever, not for ever does the hope of the poor come to nothing.	18 ‎لانه لا ينسى المسكين الى الابد. رجاء البائسين لا يخيب الى الدهر‎.
19 Arise, Yahweh; human strength shal not prevail. The nations shal stand trial before you.	19 ‎قم يا رب. لا يعتزّ الانسان. لتحاكم الامم قدامك‎.
20 Strike them with terror, Yahweh; the nations shall know that they are no more than human!Pause	20 ‎يا رب اجعل عليهم رعبا. ليعلم الامم انهم بشر. سلاه
