1 [For the choirmaster On oboe and harp Psalm Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with my whole heart, Irecount al your wonders,	1 Del maestro de coro. Para oboes y arpa. Salmo. De David.
2 I rejoice and delight in you, I sing to your name, Most High.	2 Te doy gracias, Yahveh, de todo corazón, cantaré todas tus maravillas;
3 My enemies are in retreat, they stumble and perish at your presence,	3 quiero alegrarme y exultar en ti, salmodiar a tu nombre, Altísimo.
4 for you have given fair judgement in my favour, seated on your throne as upright judge.	4 Mis enemigos retroceden, flaquean, perecen delante de tu rostro;
5 You have rebuked the nations, destroyed the wicked, blotted out their name for ever and ever;	5 pues tú has llevado mi juicio y mi sentencia, sentándote en el trono cual juez justo.
6 the enemy is wiped out -- mere ruins for ever -- you have annihilated their cities, their memory hasperished. See,	6 Has reprimido a las gentes, has perdido al impío, has borrado su nombre para siempre jamás;
7 Yahweh is enthroned for ever, keeping his throne firm for judgement;	7 acabado el enemigo, todo es ruina sin fin, has suprimido sus ciudades, perdido su recuerdo. He aquí que
8 he wil himself judge the world in uprightness, wil give a true verdict on the nations.	8 Yahveh se sienta para siempre, afianza para el juicio su trono;
9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!	9 él juzga al orbe con justicia, a los pueblos con rectitud sentencia.
10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.	10 ¡Sea Yahveh ciudadela para el oprimido, ciudadela en los tiempos de angustia!
11 Sing to Yahweh who dwel s in Zion, tel the nations his mighty deeds,	11 Y en ti confíen los que saben tu nombre, pues tú, Yahveh, no abandonas a los que te buscan.
12 for the avenger of blood does not forget them, he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.	12 Salmodiad a Yahveh, que se sienta en Sión, publicad por los pueblos sus hazañas;
13 Have pity on me, Yahweh, see my affliction, pull me back from the gates of death,	13 que él pide cuentas de la sangre, y de ellos se acuerda, no olvida el grito de los desdichados.
14 that I may recount al your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion and rejoice in your salvation.	14 Tenme piedad, Yahveh, ve mi aflicción, tú que me recobras de las puertas de la muerte,
15 The nations have fal en into the trap they made, their feet caught in the snare they laid.	15 para que yo cuente todas tus alabanzas a las puertas de la hija de Sión, gozoso de tu salvación.
16 Yahweh has made himself known, given judgement, he has ensnared the wicked in the work of theirown hands.Muted music Pause	16 Se hundieron los gentiles en la fosa que hicieron, en la red que ocultaron, su pie quedó prendido.
17 May the wicked turn away to Sheol, al the nations forgetful of God.	17 Yahveh se ha dado a conocer, ha hecho justicia, el impío se ha enredado en la obra de sus manos. Sordina. Pausa.
18 For the needy is not forgotten for ever, not for ever does the hope of the poor come to nothing.	18 ¡Vuelvan los impíos al seol, todos los gentiles que de Dios se olvidan!
19 Arise, Yahweh; human strength shal not prevail. The nations shal stand trial before you.	19 Que no queda olvidado el pobre eternamente, no se pierde por siempre la esperanza de los desdichados.
20 Strike them with terror, Yahweh; the nations shall know that they are no more than human!Pause	20 ¡Levántate, Yahveh, no triunfe el hombre, sean juzgados los gentiles delante de tu rostro!
	21 Infunde tú, Yahveh, en ellos el terror, aprendan los gentiles que no son más que hombres. Pausa.
