¹ [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.	¹ Salmo de David. Cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá.
² Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.	² Oh Dios, tú eres mi Dios, yo te busco ardientemente; mi alma tiene sed de ti, por ti suspira mi carne como tierra sedienta, reseca y sin agua.
³ Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.	³ Sí, yo te contemplé en el Santuario para ver tu poder y tu gloria.
⁴ Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.	⁴ Porque tu amor vale más que la vida, mis labios te alabarán.
⁵ Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.	⁵ Así te bendeciré mientras viva y alzaré mis manos en tu Nombre.
⁶ On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,	⁶ Mi alma quedará saciada como con un manjar delicioso, y mi boca te alabará con júbilo en los labios.
⁷ for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;	⁷ Mientras me acuerdo de ti en mi lecho y en las horas de la noche medito en ti,
⁸ my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.	⁸ veo que has sido mi ayuda y soy feliz a la sombra de tus alas.
⁹ May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,	⁹ Mi alma está unida a ti, tu mano me sostiene,
¹⁰ given over to the blade of the sword, and left as food for jackals.	¹⁰ Que caigan en lo más profundo de la tierra los que buscan mi perdición;
¹¹ Then the king shall rejoice in God, al who swear by him shal gain recognition, for the mouths of liarsshall be silenced.	¹¹ que sean pasados al filo de la espada y arrojados como presa a los chacales.
	¹² Pero el rey se alegrará en Dios; y los que juran por él se gloriarán, cuando se haga callar a los traidores.
