1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.	1 מזמור לדוד בהיותו במדבר יהודה אלהים אלי אתה אשחרך צמאה לך נפשי כמה לך בשרי בארץ ציה ועיף בלי מים
2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.	2 כן בקדש חזיתיך לראות עזך וכבודך
3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.	3 כי טוב חסדך מחיים שפתי ישבחונך
4 Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.	4 כן אברכך בחיי בשמך אשא כפי
5 Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.	5 כמו חלב ודשן תשבע נפשי ושפתי רננות יהלל פי
6 On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,	6 אם זכרתיך על יצועי באשמרות אהגה בך
7 for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;	7 כי היית עזרתה לי ובצל כנפיך ארנן
8 my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.	8 דבקה נפשי אחריך בי תמכה ימינך
9 May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,	9 והמה לשואה יבקשו נפשי יבאו בתחתיות הארץ
10 given over to the blade of the sword, and left as food for jackals.	10 יגירהו על ידי חרב מנת שעלים יהיו
11 Then the king shall rejoice in God, al who swear by him shal gain recognition, for the mouths of liarsshall be silenced.	11 והמלך ישמח באלהים יתהלל כל הנשבע בו כי יסכר פי דוברי שקר
