¹ [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah For oboe Song] God is both refuge and strength for us, ahelp always ready in trouble;	¹ Al maestro del coro. Dei figli di Core. Per voci di soprano. Canto.
² so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil, though mountains tumble into the depths ofthe sea,	² Dio è per noi rifugio e fortezza,aiuto infallibile si è mostrato nelle angosce.
³ and its waters roar and seethe, and the mountains totter as it heaves. (Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, ourcitadel, the God of Jacob.)Pause	³ Perciò non temiamo se trema la terra,se vacillano i monti nel fondo del mare.
⁴ There is a river whose streams bring joy to God's city, it sanctifies the dwel ing of the Most High.	⁴ Fremano, si gonfino le sue acque,si scuotano i monti per i suoi flutti.
⁵ God is in the city, it cannot fal ; at break of day God comes to its rescue.	⁵ Un fiume e i suoi canali rallegrano la città di Dio,la più santa delle dimore dell’Altissimo.
⁶ Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are tumbling, when he raises his voice the earth crumbles away.	⁶ Dio è in mezzo ad essa: non potrà vacillare.Dio la soccorre allo spuntare dell’alba.
⁷ Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob. Pause	⁷ Fremettero le genti, vacillarono i regni;egli tuonò: si sgretolò la terra.
⁸ Come, consider the wonders of Yahweh, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth;	⁸ Il Signore degli eserciti è con noi,nostro baluardo è il Dio di Giacobbe.
⁹ he puts an end to wars over the whole wide world, he breaks the bow, he snaps the spear, shields heburns in the fire.	⁹ Venite, vedete le opere del Signore,egli ha fatto cose tremende sulla terra.
¹⁰ 'Be stil and acknowledge that I am God, supreme over nations, supreme over the world.'	¹⁰ Farà cessare le guerre sino ai confini della terra,romperà gli archi e spezzerà le lance,brucerà nel fuoco gli scudi.
¹¹ Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob.Pause	¹¹ Fermatevi! Sappiate che io sono Dio,eccelso tra le genti, eccelso sulla terra.
	¹² Il Signore degli eserciti è con noi,nostro baluardo è il Dio di Giacobbe.
