Psalms 46

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah For oboe Song] God is both refuge and strength for us, ahelp always ready in trouble;	1 Del maestro de coro. De los hijos de Coré. Para oboes. Canto.
2 so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil, though mountains tumble into the depths ofthe sea,	2 Dios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza, una ayuda siempre pronta en los peligros.
3 and its waters roar and seethe, and the mountains totter as it heaves. (Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, ourcitadel, the God of Jacob.)Pause	3 Por eso no tememos, aunque la tierra se conmueva y las montañas se desplomen hasta el fondo del mar;
4 There is a river whose streams bring joy to God's city, it sanctifies the dwel ing of the Most High.	4 aunque bramen y se agiten sus olas, y con su ímpetu sacudan las montañas. El Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros, nuestro baluarte es el Dios de Jacob.
5 God is in the city, it cannot fal ; at break of day God comes to its rescue.	5 Los canales del Río alegran la Ciudad de Dios, la más santa Morada del Altísimo.
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are tumbling, when he raises his voice the earth crumbles away.	6 Dios está en medio de ella: nunca vacilará; él la socorrerá al despuntar la aurora.
7 Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob. Pause	7 Tiemblan las naciones, se tambalean los reinos: él hace oír su voz y se deshace la tierra.
8 Come, consider the wonders of Yahweh, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth;	8 El Señor de los ejércitos está con nosotros, nuestro baluarte es el Dios de Jacob.
9 he puts an end to wars over the whole wide world, he breaks the bow, he snaps the spear, shields heburns in the fire.	9 Vengan a contemplar las obras del Señor, él hace cosas admirables en la tierra:
10 'Be stil and acknowledge that I am God, supreme over nations, supreme over the world.'	10 elimina la guerra hasta los extremos del mundo; rompe el arco, quiebra la lanza y prende fuego a los escudos.
