2 so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil, though mountains tumble into the depths ofthe sea,	2 Por isso a terra pode tremer, nada tememos; as próprias montanhas podem se afundar nos mares.
3 and its waters roar and seethe, and the mountains totter as it heaves. (Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, ourcitadel, the God of Jacob.)Pause	3 Ainda que as águas tumultuem e estuem e venham abalar os montes, está conosco o Senhor dos exércitos, nosso protetor é o Deus de Jacó.
4 There is a river whose streams bring joy to God's city, it sanctifies the dwel ing of the Most High.	4 Os braços de um rio alegram a cidade de Deus, o santuário do Altíssimo.

9 he puts an end to wars over the whole wide world, he breaks the bow, he snaps the spear, shields heburns in the fire.	9 Reprimiu as guerras em toda a extensão da terra; partiu os arcos, quebrou as lanças, queimou os escudos.
