1 Why this uproar among the nations, this impotent muttering of the peoples?	1 למה רגשו גוים ולאמים יהגו ריק
2 Kings of the earth take up position, princes plot together against Yahweh and his anointed,	2 יתיצבו מלכי ארץ ורוזנים נוסדו יחד על יהוה ועל משיחו
3 'Now let us break their fetters! Now let us throw off their bonds!'	3 ננתקה את מוסרותימו ונשליכה ממנו עבתימו
4 He who is enthroned in the heavens laughs, Yahweh makes a mockery of them,	4 יושב בשמים ישחק אדני ילעג למו
5 then in his anger rebukes them, in his rage he strikes them with terror.	5 אז ידבר אלימו באפו ובחרונו יבהלמו
6 'I myself have anointed my king on Zion my holy mountain.'	6 ואני נסכתי מלכי על ציון הר קדשי
7 I wil proclaim the decree of Yahweh: He said to me, 'You are my son, today have I fathered you.	7 אספרה אל חק יהוה אמר אלי בני אתה אני היום ילדתיך
8 Ask of me, and I shal give you the nations as your birthright, the whole wide world as your possession.	8 שאל ממני ואתנה גוים נחלתך ואחזתך אפסי ארץ
9 With an iron sceptre you wil break them, shatter them like so many pots.'	9 תרעם בשבט ברזל ככלי יוצר תנפצם
10 So now, you kings, come to your senses, you earthly rulers, learn your lesson!	10 ועתה מלכים השכילו הוסרו שפטי ארץ
11 In fear be submissive to Yahweh;	11 עבדו את יהוה ביראה וגילו ברעדה
12 with trembling kiss his feet, lest he be angry and your way come to nothing, for his fury flares up in amoment. How blessed are al who take refuge in him!	12 נשקו בר פן יאנף ותאבדו דרך כי יבער כמעט אפו אשרי כל חוסי בו
